I will guarantee every review on this restaurant is false advertisement. The food was very bad in about an hr after leaving all our stomachs were in pain. The waitress said it’s the best pizza but my pet fish can make better pizza in its fish tank. Last but not least the waitress was very pushy towards the end for a tip and when we didn’t tip her attitude completely changed . And btw the chef looked very unhygienic coming in and out smoking cigarettes infront of the customers.

Starting with the food we ordered 3 items, lasagna , pizza and pasta. The lasagna was good but the pizza was worst pizza I ever had in my life, and the waitress told us the chef ran out of the sauce so the pasta was as dry as Sahara dessert!! They didn’t even come to ask if we would like something else if they don’t have something in the kitchen they will serve you with what they have Not even kidding I almost was about to throw up. Secondly, the drinks we ordered were so bad and very very overpriced!! The dirty martini we ordered was honestly dirty!! My friend didn’t even have a sip of it and the pasta was left untouched. I’m writing this sipping green tea Cz my stomach hurts Have a good night guys Cz I’m not having one for sure :(

It feels like you're in a small town sitcom bar where everyone greets you when they walk in and ends up making you socialize with them when you go up to the bar. That's a rate vibe these days. Nice staff and cool regulars. Coffee wasn't that good though. Especially for an Italian spot.

God worst Italian bar/restaurant in ottawa hands down. Cook looks like she was hit by a bus or homeless. Owner was very rude to myself and the girls with me. There were rats everywhere. We could hear them under the patio. Bathroom was disgusting. Didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks. Not sure how it passes any city inspections. The pasta was disgusting and dry. The menu was dated and they messed up our order. DO NOT EAT HERE. 2 of us got sick after. Whoever decorated this dive is blind. Just hilarious.

The owner is very friendly. His mom made me the best Alfredo pasta and I was starving. I really liked it. They also serve coffee liquor and all sorts of spirits.

Waitress was nice but pasta was mediocre and portions were way too small for what they charge (>$20 each). We decided to go elsewhere to get filled up. There are way too many choices in the area for us to want to go there again.

Actually, I was surprised with meal taste. It tastes much better I use to have in Canada. I asked about great taste of pesto sauce, and owner told me it's real pesto came from Italy! Strongly recommended if you looking for real Italian taste meals

The worst place I’ve been in Ottawa. The pizza has no cheese, the cocktails are a joke. All other reviews for this place are probably paid for. You will thank me if you read this review before going to this place.

If you are ever in Ottawa , Il Peruggino is a must go to for authentic Italian cuisine!! Friendly, and personal service and it made it a feel like we were somewhere in Italy! Bravo to the owner and especially to the cook! We will be back!

It's so bad, I don't know how it has 4.4 stars on google. There was a reason that no one else was eating there at 7pm on a Friday evening. If you like real Italian food please avoid this place at all costs.

Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks. Owner & Bartender are such nice people- the chef & staff members are lovely. Love this place, it's my go-to on any occasion. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to either wind down on a weekday or drink on the weekends !

Really good food for an affordable price with very friendly and accommodating owner(s) and staff. We preferred the food here over a much more expensive and prestigious Italian Restaurant also located in the downtown area.

This is a cozy spot out on the town. The staff are kind and the service far surpassed my expectations! You can't beat their prices! Make sure you ask them about their specials! You won't be disappointed.
