Yesterday,
I
needed
to
go
to
emergency
for
my
own
reasons.
Yes,
the
wait
time
was
long:
I
arrived
at
1:20
and
left
at
7:30.
This
is
still
better
timing
than
I
get
with
the
service
in
Quebec
so
I
canât
complain
much
about
the
time
considering.
This
is
pretty
prompt
from
my
experience.
During
my
wait,
I
canât
tell
you
how
many
people
I
heard
complain
to
whoever
they
could,
whether
that
be
the
intake
counter,
nurses,
and
even
doctors,
about
when
they
would
be
seen.
These
stalls
only
delay
the
wait
time
since
they
canât
do
their
jobs
while
they
attend
to
you
complaining,
keep
in
mind.
All
of
the
staff
at
this
hospital
were
kind
and
courteous.
I
donât
come
here
often
but
the
way
within
one
visit
the
staff
completely
made
me
feel
welcomed
was
unlike
anything
else.
They
call
you
once
for
any
blood
tests
before
a
doctor
can
see
you
and
you
need
to
be
let
in
by
the
admin
staff
of
this
department.
My
second
time
having
to
enter
this
location,
the
attendant
remembered
me
and
without
hesitation
let
me
in
without
question.
The
nurse
inside
this
area
(yellow
urgent
care)
was
dealing
with
a
lot
of
unhappy
&
impatient
people.
When
he
returned
from
his
break,
he
saw
I
hadnât
re-entered
a
room
and
was
still
waiting
since
I
needed
a
different
kind
of
bed
for
my
doctor
to
perform
the
procedure
necessary.
Right
away
when
he
got
back,
he
placed
me
into
the
first
room
available
in
order
for
me
to
be
seen.
The
doctor
(Dr.
Lacroix)
was
an
absolute
pleasure
during
my
visit.
She
was
open
to
discussing
different
ways
we
could
proceed
but
respected
my
choice
and
decision
that
I
made.
The
process
was
quick
and
painless.
She
even
ensured
that
I
was
being
followed
up
on
other
issues
that
I
told
her
about
just
in
conversation
of
explaining
how
I
got
to
this
point.
She
also
offered
me
advice
on
a
quick
inquiry
I
had
that
was
unrelated
to
my
main
reason
of
the
visit.
Though
it
was
a
small
visit,
I
can
tell
she
is
a
wonderful
doctor
and
anyone
should
be
lucky
to
have
a
compassionate
doctor
like
her
for
treatment
in
emergency.
So
long
as
you
treat
the
staff
like
humans
with
patience
and
kindness,
they
will
absolutely
be
the
most
helpful
&
sympathetic
people
they
are
capable
of.
I
didnât
bother
any
of
them
about
the
wait
time
or
follow
up
to
bother
them
about
when
my
treatment
would
be.
I
just
sat
and
waited
and
somehow,
the
staff
still
remembered
me
just
from
meeting
me
once
from
all
of
our
initial
interactions.
They
were
thankful
for
my
patience
which
I
had
no
problem
with.
At
the
end
of
the
day,
going
to
emergency
with
a
triage
system,
there
will
be
delays
and
we
should
not
complain
about
the
fact
that
someone
else
is
receiving
care
if
theirs
is
more
urgent.
I
am
pleasantly
impressed
with
the
staff
at
this
hospital
and
how
many
of
them
were
still
keeping
smiles
full
under
their
masks.
These
are
the
kinds
of
staff
you
want
attending
to
you.
