I want to express my sincere appreciation for the staff at this facility, especially Natalie and the gentleman at the front desk and Dr. Nicolas. Their professionalism and kindness with clients, even in high-pressure situations, is truly commendable. Having worked as a radiographer for a decade in my home country, I fully understand the immense pressure in such environments. I strongly believe that these exceptional individuals deserve recognition, and I hope the manager will consider giving them a well-deserved award or positive acknowledgment.

I had an IME at this medical center, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Natalia at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, welcoming and efficient. Dr. Ashton was incredibly sweet, showing genuine care and professionalism. Despite arriving a bit late for my appointment, they were so understanding and patient with me. Highly recommend this center for their exceptional service and compassionate staff.

I saw Dr. Siva, who was very professional and knowledgeable but also friendly. I was able to go back for my appointments at the time they were scheduled for (no waiting around for an hour!). I'm very pleased to have found this clinic and Dr. Siva.

This is one of the best clinics I have ever visited. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The doctor is knowledgeable and keeps up with the research which is absolutely amazing. The clinic is clean and well designed. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would absolutely do so.

The administrative/reception staff are truthfully very disorganized and at times very rude/unprofessional. But luckily when I was connected with a physician I was connected with an incredible doctor (Dr. Rosalind Ashton) she helped me and brought me back to normal self when I was very sick. I am very grateful for everything she did to help me. Any patient who has her as their physician is very lucky.

The service was great! I received a virtual appointment within less than 24 hours of my request. The website is very user-friendly and it was very easy to book an appointment online. The staff and family doctor were super friendly and professional. I highly recommend this clinic!

As a retired veteran, I was unable to find a family doctor. I stumbled across this clinic, and wow am I impressed. Incredibly helpful, professional and kind staff from the receptionists to the doctors. Most efficient, organized clinic with excellent quality of care. It is almost shocking how good this place is. Incredibly grateful.

The process of booking an appointment, to being seen and speaking with the most pleasant Dr. Ashton, was really a welcomed experience. I have noticed a huge lack in customer care with most healthcare lately (yes I realize they’re busy- so are the rest of us). I highly recommend Rideau Friel Medical Center for a well-rounded experience based on my first appointment with them.

At first I was frustrated with reception, but I quickly realized they're actually super sweet people and always trying their best (perhaps they're understaffed, who knows). They're super kind, flexible and quite responsive via email which is what I prefer anyway. Been going here for over a year and plan on staying, despite being a Montreal resident no less. Highly recommended, especially for younger folks as many young docs work here and are very supportive✊🏽.

The first time I went the doctor was great and patient and polite. I needed to go to this clinic again but was unreachable. They don't answer the phone and no email to contact them. They only answer phones from 10 to 12 for only two hours... And the hours 10 to 3 is not convenient for most people who work.

This clinic has some great, kind doctors, but if the front desk staff didn't bark and speak to adults like they are children rather spoke with same level of professionalism the doctors themselves do, it would be a much better experience. It's a tough job though, and hats off to them for doing it.

Of all the walk-in clinics I have had to use over the past 2 +yrs not having a family doctor, this clinic is by far the best. From communication to examination and follow-up, they are efficient and treat everyone with dignity..something which is rare amongst walk-in clinics in Ottawa. So grateful I have this option

Dr. Siva is the best and nicest doctor I’ve ever had. I don’t have a family doctor but I go to her regularly and she’s so helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. The staff are also super kind and I recommend this clinic to anyone looking!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Siva for the past 4 years and she is an amazing doctor.She will listen to all your concerns and will never make you feel rushed. She gives you the best advice ! My 6 year old sees her too and she has been wonderful ! Dr. Ashton is great too !

First started calling at 10, and finally got to speak to a receptionist at 11:30. She did not show concern for my condition, and I was told quite rudely that I am not able to see a doctor until next week. Then got told in an unfriendly matter to contact another clinic. My friend called this clinic the day before and was able to get an appointment the same day. I cannot say anything about the doctors as I was not able to book an appointment, however, I've heard great things about them! You just gotta get through the rude receptionist or hope someone nice picks up the phone.

I appreciate the Rideau Friel Medical Center's prompt service and effective appointment scheduling. It has been quite difficult for an overseas student to visit walk-in clinics and be scheduled. This centre has been fantastic and stress-free for me. I simply sent them an email to make an appointment, and I showed up for the planned consultation. The staff is really courteous. I recommend this medical center to other international students like me.

Firstly, the doctors at Rideau Friel all have been friendly and adequate. They deserve praise. The clinic "manager", however, recently provided the most incompetent customer care, or lack thereof, I have ever experienced. At times, he actually applied gaslighting tactics on me, a manipulative form of psychological abuse. This of course varies on a spectrum. It’s truly concerning to have been provided service by an individual so clearly lacking in psychological training or even customer service skills, at a health clinic of all places. More over, his unprofessional and violative behaviour prevented treatment, even after Dr. Ashton requested an in-person appointment. Minutes after I had arrived at the clinic, this individual demanded to literally "step outside"(as in, the both of us). He wanted to discuss in more detail as to why I found his bedside manner to be rather rude. This was an aggressive and bizarrely inappropriate suggestion. If he had been asking me to go alone, perhaps I'd have done so. This was not the case however- he wanted to go together. As a young woman, and simply as an individual, I did not feel comfortable to go anywhere with this person unsupervised, and out of earshot. I remained firm on this. All I wanted was to be in touch with a doctor; to reschedule the missed appointment. Still, the manager continued to behave inappropriately, and no appointment was scheduled. I feel that my health and safety was threatened that day, and continues to be, since treatment was ultimately not provided. AWFUL, watch out! *Note: I would prefer to share all details of my experience, but there are not enough words/characters permitted by Google Reviews to do so. I have a typed description, and will be making a formal complaint. *It is hopeful yet unlikely that this will gather any attention beyond that of the manager’s, but perhaps I can at least offer validation to anyone who has had the misfortune to speak with this man.

This is arguably the best experience in primary care medicine that I’ve received. This clinic has helped me through so many of my concerns, considering I’m still waiting for a permanent family doctor in Ottawa. Dr. Sabourin is also filled with so much kindness and compassion; more doctors need to adopt his demeanour. Thank you for the great care!

Went to get stitches removed and used their website to book an appointment. Was promptly called not even a full hour later, and they were able to book an appointment same day. Felt very safe covid-wise, as you don't even wait in a general waiting area. Staff were extremely helpful, and the doctor was kind and efficient. Will definitely be going here again if I need walk-in services!

Sent them an email, they got back to me within a few hours, booked an appt that afternoon. Receptionists were awesome and Dr.Nicholls (sic.) was patient and explaining. Never felt rushed. The whole experience was outstanding.

First time at this clinic. I got a same day appointment and was really impressed with the reception when I arrived. Friendly and easy-going. I met with Dr.Nicholls, he was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and helpful with my needs. After countless appointments and getting nowhere, I finally feel like I'm getting the help/treatments I need to start healing. Highly recommend giving them a visit.

This Medical Center is extremely unprofessional. They do not reply to emails. When they finally reach out, if they ever do. They will lie about not receiving your emails. Please do not waste you time on making an appointment with them !

First of all the Drs are all great and speciall thanks to Dr Ashton . But the clinic management is so poor . I had a miscarriage without any bleeding or pain and I figured it out by my 12 weeks ultrasound . The clinic reciption didn't gave me appointment for my fallow up session to see how I need to proceed to clean my body from the tissue and sac. I asked them couple times that my ultrasound is sent over to your clinic . Please give me any appointment to see the doctor . They were just saying all our Drs are fully booked until next week and I asked for appointment for next week . They said go to any walk in clinic. They don't understand that I have emergency situation and they got my ultrasound report. At the end I had to call the ultrasound clinic and ask them to send my reports to some other Drs at another clinic . Not to mention that this is happening for the second time . First time they didnt give me appointment to see the result of my 8 weeks blood work. If they gave me an appointment that time , I would have figured my misscariage a lot sooner.

I have read many negative reviews about this clinic, however my experience was very different. I had a medical condition for years, which hadn't been treated by any provider. The staff at this clinic were helpful and accommodating in ensuring that my condition was treated and totally resolved. Since December 2020, my health has greatly improved and I am no longer dealing with agonizing physical pain which required me to frequently call in sick at work. I am grateful to this clinic and based on my experiences, I only have positive feedback. No clinic is perfect (I have been to walk-ins where the staff only wanted to rush patients out of the room to quickly make room for another patient, not leaving enough time to properly discuss medical issues). I have also been to walk-ins where I was met with condescending and unsympathetic doctors. Again, the Rideau Friel Centre was a breath of fresh air (in comparison) and was the first clinic to take my medical situation seriously.

First time at this clinic. My son and I got in today via email looking for a dr and they took us in. They are so organized and and was really impressed with the reception desk with the assistants who are helping the doctors. I also got my flu shot at the same time. They are so friendly and polite and soft spoken. Friendly and easy-going. I think my son met with Dr.Nicholls, he was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and helpful with his needs. I will be reaching out this clinic till we find a family doctor for sure. We live in barrhaven and we drove to downtown to this clinic and it was so worth it. Go to the website and send them and email and they will get back to you like a walk in with the the appointment to see a doctor. I am so happy and I hope and pray that i can get into see a doctor if i need help. My son is so happy and he told me the doctor was amazing. Highly recommend this clinic if you need care.

Had a great experience at the clinic. Was able to boom an appt for my daughter the same day and very minimal wait time to see a doctor. Dr. Nichols was so kind with my daughter and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

It's generally hard to get walk-in appointments during COVID, but both times I contacted this clinic I got same-day appointments. Dr. Bakezadeh was incredibly helpful and friendly, and genuinely listened to my concerns. If you don't have a family doctor in the city and want to contact caring health professionals, I would absolutely recommend this clinic.

Had an appointment with Dr. Gagnon. She is so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The receptionists respond emails really quickly. Had another appointment with Dr. Ashton today. She is knowledgeable and caring. She explains everything clearly to me and suggests some books for more information. Highly recommend both amazing doctors.

I needed to see a doctor for an urgent matter as my GP wasn't able to accommodate me for another month. Maurice was extremely accommodating, despite running the clinic on his own the day I called. At my first appointment, I rang the doorbell per their covid instructions & was greeted by an extremely friendly nurse. I then met with Dr.Sivanantharajah & she was incredibly sweet & helpful. I ended up needing another appointment and again, staff were very accommodating to my schedule. I was blown away by the quality of care that I received from Dr.Siva, Maurice and the rest of the staff members and am beyond grateful for their help.

The reception staff are very friendly and accommodating. I saw Dr. P Sivanantharajah (Dr Siva for short). She was so professional and her bedside manner was amazing! She went above and beyond to help me. Definitely email for an appointment because they get back to you very quickly and it is sometimes difficult to get them on the phone since they can be very busy. There is free one hour parking on the street right next to the clinic. I have never had trouble getting a spot.

Have been here a lot of times over last month and a bit and overall I think they’ve been brilliant! Very quick responses by email, got appointments within a week if not next day. Saw three doctors there and they were all very kind, listened to my requests, were efficient and professional. Great Covid protocols too since only people with appointments are allowed in the building to limit numbers. Thanks for helping me out!
