Went in today and there were five employees in the store. So I get in line behind the woman who is currently being served at that point for employees all decide to leave to go on break at the same time leaving only one employee in the store, and people waiting in the line a ridiculous amount of time. I ended up just walking away and buying my jewelry elsewhere.

Ordered a bracelet online and chose to pickup at this location. Next day my order was cancelled due to inventory issues (no mention of a refund). No one tried to call me to give me other options, and the item is still in stock at other stores (still listed in stock at this store too...) So I spoke to the People's live chat and reordered, with delivery to my home. Pretty cheesed I have to get charged twice (hopefully with a refund coming) instead of the store just calling me and working it out.

Adrianna, was so pleasant and easy to deal with, she truly made the entire experience a breath of Fresh air, we wanted to make this right and felt so discouraged with all the high pressure sales from their competition it was getting so discouraging , so glad that we found Peoples and Adrianna 😊🌹, so so Happy! Never buying anything from peoples Jeweler ordered a diamond bracelet for a birthday gift it was promised to be delivered by Monday didn’t receive any notifications that it was shipped and I keep trying to call and find out where the item is and customer service is very unhelpful and can’t even tell me anything about the item location had to go buy another one at the bay last minute to gift on time and it’s already received a day later at my door step i can’t cancel the order and still says in preparation and no estimate on when it will arrive horrible experience

Nice people working here but they don’t carry large size silicone rings for men. I found saferingz on Amazon.

I was quite disappointed with the quality of service that I received at this location. I went in with my engagement ring and wedding band. They needed to be resized and repaired. The staff seemed very disorganized and uncertain at there tasks. I waited over a month to get these Rings back and when I called for information no one was quite sure what was happening. Finally I got the call that my rings were ready. when I went into the store to pick them up engagement then was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the lady forgot to note in the paper that the second band was supposed to be resized and it had also come back a bit deformed. She needed to send the ring back and I waited another 2 weeks. The service is extremely poor at this location but the staff are very friendly. I know it is not peoples Jeweler as a brand but just this location because peoples jeweler at Rideau have always given me the most phenomenal service

Had issues ordering an item online. Ordered some earrings and then received an email saying order was cancelled due to item not being in stock, even though it showed in stock online. I tried calling another People's store to check on stock and no one picked up. It's Christmas time so stores are busy. So I started an online chat with a representative and they took my number and reached out to the store on my behalf and had them call me to reserve a pair that they had. I was able to then go the next day and pick them up. Great customer service. 👌

My Fiancé and I were not greeted, and when we received help looking for wedding bands, it wasn't very pleasant or informative. I chose to shop here because of the wide selection of bands, specifically for men, and also because of the Black Friday sales. The sales person proceeded to make fun of the one ring my Fiancé had his eyes on, saying it was suitable for teenage boys. At that point he decided he did not want to have a sale here, however I liked the ring I chose as well as the price so I didn't care. I was hoping for a better experience for something so special. I don't regret getting my ring here, but the experience was incredibly disappointing.

The reps were super helpful in identifying our needs and found something in our budget. Great location and would recommend.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I was completely taken advantage of and promised no payments or interest for 12 Months with Flexiti. To my surprise, this contract doesn't work if you live in Quebec. I was never informed anything. When I approached Gila to let her know the issues, all she could tell me was "She was sorry" & "She Didn't know". She knew very well when I gave her my drivers license and all, she only wanted to make the sale and didn't care what position it put me in. This has put me in an awful position with my engagement ring. I just wish I could of been properly informed, especially with a big life decision that I entrusted to Peoples Jewellers.

And a few issues with the new purchases we had bought in store. We went in last night to return all our purchases with no intention of shopping in store again. We visited to have a Diamond fixed, and the store manager made sure to put us back on track with the warranty. We purchased the ring from Goli a couple of years ago. She was fantastic. Today, we had help by Adrianna and she was fantastic. If you visit, I highly recommend you speak with one of them.

Dealt with Jila at St.Laurent Ottawa location. Could not have received more professional conduct. She helped secure a repair to my custom made diamond ring. Absolutely the best warranty in the business. It is for life I missed a check up on it due to the pandemic but was assured it would be covered regardless. Highly recommend People's and Jila!!

I had to resize my engagement ring. I had a great experience while working with Goli. She had my ring come back very quickly. Will work with her again!

People’s jewelry’s process is archaic and very time consuming. You would think the longest part of buying wedding bands would be the actual selection but that turned out to be the shortest. They did not have our bands in stock so to purchase them online. Not a huge issue. However they use the same online buying process everyone else uses which is very slow and took twice as long as the actual selection. To top it all off, you can’t use their store Flexiti credit card to purchase items online. This all added to the time spent on something very simple.

Giving 5 stars cause Gauly is the best and always gives me 100% of her attention. She is very professional with a lot of gentle, nice and very understanding. She helped me through a big issues and made it happen. Thanks again Gauly!👍🏽

I went I for Black Friday sales which advertised Neil Lane rings for $69,99 and I went in and was called stupid that this was a scam and how could I expect to pay that price for diamonds. I got it off their website!!! And they won’t honour it.

Went in today looking for a ring to commemorate my mother. The salesperson Shawn or Sean (I'm not sure how he spells it unfortunately! I do apologize!!) was amazing. So patient and knowledgeable. I normally did not like the old staff but the new staff that are now part of this location were ALL amazing. I was greeted immediately and I am so happy with my purchase. Not pushy at all. I left with 3 rings and could not be any happier!!!

I had trouble with a watch that was under warranty. Long story short they didn't repair it and I was quite upset of the time it took and the customer service. The store manager, Adrianna, was incredibly nice to me and arranged my situation fairly quickly.

Buy your rings here if you like having to argue with what ring size you need, even after you’ve had your finger measured. And then when the ring is to big for your finger because they didn’t size it properly have then tell you that it’s because your hands are cold. Don’t bother with this place, your money is better spent elsewhere!

Great service when you are buying something but when it comes to service it seems as no one cares or wants to help you. My ring has been in to be repaired over 4 times and no one has called me once to let me know its ready. I have had purchased this ring in 2021 and its has spent over 4-6 months in total waiting to be repaired. I would recommend a dedicated service person or team because its not about selling you something its about making sure after the sale you are happy as you will be a repeat customer and generate referrals. I will not be shopping with Peoples anymore.

Today on April 6th the man and woman who were working this morning were extremely helpful and provided exceptional customer service. The woman offered to clean my engagement ring for free too even though I hadn't purchased it from there. Very welcoming and made it a very happy experience even after we discovered our online order for my fiancée wedding band was the wrong size. Helped fix the problem fairly quickly. I wish I could remember their names
