He walked me through the entire process of designing, tweaking, and having the perfect ring made. He is clearly incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work and turned my amateur descriptions and our discussions into a STUNNING final piece of artwork. I was also very appreciative that he never tried to "upsell" the project - he was always practical about discussing the pros and cons of different options and features, respected my budget, and was honest and easy to work with throughout. The process and the product were perfect, and Dixon Jewellers will be my go-to and first recommendation for any jewelry needs in the City.

As most people do, I did some shopping around to different jewellers in the city looking for the best place to make a custom engagement ring. It was quick getting a consultation to discuss my ideas for the ring and it was easy setting a budget we could work with. They do almost everything in house so they can quickly show you renderings of what your ring will look like and once you've settled all the details it's only another few weeks until you get the ring. Super professional staff, great prices, and amazing quality. Their ability to get you what you want, in a timely manner, and within budget is unmatched. Best custom jewelry store in Ottawa and will 100% be going back for all future pieces.

Went to Dixon to create a custom engagement ring and was very glad that I did. They took my sketches and description of what I was looking for, and then worked quickly through a series of revisions and options for my review. As such, whenever we’re on Sparks Street, we stop by for a visit and cleaning free of charge. Excellent service! Had very limited knowledge of diamonds & Matthew went above and beyond to help me find the perfect engagement ring. At the time there was not a lot of selection on the market for pear shaped diamonds, however he was very professional and did not try to push the first few we looked at. He kept on searching until we found one that I had liked & manufactured the ring under a tight deadline. Absolutely deserves 5/5.

I had a custom engagement ring made for my fiance and was very satisfied with the level of service and workmanship. Matthew was extremely helpful taking us through the process of selecting diamonds and deciding on the design that was right for us. The shop provided CAD renderings of multiple different design options and made a few iterations of wax models that allowed us to see what the final product would look like. I wanted a wedding band to wear simultaneously with my Nana's 1950s engagement ring as a set. I had had other jewelers tell me that there's no way to make the gold of a new ring match the tone of the engagement ring (e-ring is yellow gold with a whiteish undertone), that if I had my engagement ring re-pronged it wouldn't look the same as before, and that a new ring and my engagement ring couldn't look like a true matching set. Matthew and his team, though, made everything happen. My engagement ring looks like new (same old ring but shinier and sparklier), and they custom-made a wedding band that compliments it perfectly but adds a bit of my own style to the set. The whole experience was amazing, everything was within my budget and I'm incredibly happy with both my rings. Thank you guys so much!

I had a pair of custom earrings made for my wife to replace a pair that she had misplaced one half of. From start to finish, the entire process could not have been simpler and transparent with regards to my order. Matthew and the rest of the staff were incredibly pleasant to deal with. The customer service is top notch. The earrings they recreated are perfect and look almost identical to the original set. My wife thought that I had tracked down a pair of her original earrings; that's how close they match. I would absolutely visit again and use Dixon for any custom jewellery!

Everyone that works there that I've interacted with was really great! I mostly dealt with Brette, and the service I received from them made every visit enjoyable! (She should get a raise, wink wink) Definitely will be coming back if need be.

I bought a wedding ring for my fiancee there. They've given me a great service, with an honest opinion from people who clearly know what they are doing and won't steal from you. If I need future costum made jewelry or repair I will return there for sure.

I’ve used Dixon for several repairs and sizings over the years and always quality work at a very good price. Most recently had a curb chain fixed (broken link) and was less than half the price of other stores and as usual amazing work, you can’t see where the break was. I also know people who have had custom engagement rings made by them and again Dixon did an amazing job.

Awesome experience getting my engagement ring made and it turned out even better than I could have hoped! Will be back for wedding bands for sure.

I recently had a pair of diamond earrings re-set in yellow gold, and a heirloom pin repaired. Both turned out perfectly and were reasonably priced. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful, I'm very pleased with my experience. Will definitely be back! A suggestion for others driving to Dixon: Park under the World Exchange Plaza, it is only a block away and well priced for a quick trip. I think I paid $2.50.
