    We are super happy with the level of service and professionalism that Nathan has shown. He knows his stuff well, where he helped us greatly with choosing the size, style, and material. We had tricky design requirements - given our pets - and Nathan's patience helped us navigate through all of the many choices they had. The furniture is Canadian made and of excellent quality. Therefore, they deserve a solid 5 star review.

    They always have new and stylish furniture and accessoires. I was looking for new light fixtures. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything to march the one already bought from there. May be next time.

    Nate was great. Great service, even entertained our 4 month year old baby. I actually went back the next day and upgraded the couch. He really knows his stuff and doesn't pleasure you. We are very happy!!!

    We purchased a sectional from EQ3 about 5months ago. Cello grade 3 leather, feather on feather. I must say I am very disappointed with the quality of the cushion. It is definitely not meant for regular use. The back cushion never stays up straight. It keeps falling despite puffing it up. Looks great in show room but alas not in reality. Wasted 9K for no reason.

    Ever had the feeling you need new furniture but don't know where or how to start? That feeling evaporated when we met Nathan at EQ3. He is brilliant, knowledgeable, experienced and a gem of a person. We are thrilled with what we purchased and the effort he went to show us what would work best in our space. He sees the end result and can effectively communicate it so that we could see it too. Easily the most comfortable we have felt with a home improvement project!

    I was helped by Nate late last year. He was so wonderful, not everyday you get service like he provided. He came in on his day off and spent the morning helping me decide which type of fabric and couch to buy. He took into consideration the interior we currently have to make the best selection. His attention to detail and patience is truly like no other! Thank you, Nate!

    We came to the store a few weeks ago to purchase a sofa. Nate was absolutely amazing. So patient to answer every single question we had, to understand our lifestyle so he could guide us better and to explain all the details about all sofas. I learned more about furniture with him than in my entire life. If you come to this store, I highly recommend you deal with Nate.

    Amazing customer service from Kyle. He has an impressive wealth of knowledge and was really patient and helpful. I really appreciated how all of the staff were friendly and not at all pushy. Dav (hope I got name right) even went to get a piece from storage for me to examine. Thank you! Will post again after purchase complete!

    We had fantastic service from Nathan! Came in having already done some research and know what sofa we wanted (apartment size reverie). What we didn’t know yet, was what material and colour we wanted. Nathan was very candid and thorough, walking us through all the options, providing important details that we hadn’t even thought to ask about (but were very glad he mentioned!). Of course we won’t be receiving our custom sofa for more than a few months (longer than pre-pandemic processing times), and that is a hard wait. However, we were so satisfied with the service, we felt totally comfortable and confident in going ahead with the purchase, knowing it would be worth the wait. Not only that, we’ve already been back into the store again, to look at other items for our home. Thanks Nathan!

    I bought an OSKAR, leather sofa from Nathan at EQ3's Byward Market store and the final product is stylish and exactly what I was looking for. Nathan was awesome and very helpful throughout the entire process to ensure I got what I wanted - thank you Nathan!

    This has been the worst experience i have ever had buying furniture. We purchased a sofa months in advance given the fact that it takes minimum 10 weeks for the sofa to be shipped. After waiting 12 weeks finally receive our sofa and it turns out they made half a sofa and simply forgot to build the other half…after much frustration dealing with the management team to escalate the matter so that we can receive the other part of our sofa in a timely manner we finally had a delivery scheduled today for the missing parts. The delivery driver came 4 hours late and when he came he himself was shocked to see that the completely wrong sofa had been made yet again. At this point we have no clue how and when we will get the correct sofa that we ordered. Definitely will not be buying any more furniture from this store and will not be recommending it to anyone.

    I had a great experience with EQ3. When my couch was ready, I received a call from Lucy who arranged for the delivery - she was friendly and accommodating. On the delivery day, when we encountered a few challenges with my stairwell size, she sent Shane and his crew to assist and boy did they deliver - helpful, polite and ensured I was happy before they left! The customer service level received from Lucy in particular was amazing - she was pleasant and knows her stuff! I even received a follow up call from her after the delivery to ensure satisfaction. Wow! Highly recommend this Canadian company not only for the quality and design of their furniture but for the incredible service they provide. Thank you Lucy!

    Past purchases have been of excellent quality and design and I expect my newest acquisition (when it arrives) to be the same. The store staff are very helpful and the delivery and set-up staff are friendly, respectful of my home and efficient. It is a joy to visit the store.

    What a fantastic shopping experience - beautiful, high-quality furniture and exceptional customer service. The appointment based system for shopping is an amazing idea, especially during a pandemic. As a customer, having appointments helped me feel safe and allowed me to spend more time focused on the products than on being surrounded by too many other customers. Plus, having a personalized shopping experience with an expert sales person is so helpful! Abdul is amazing, he is so knowledgeable and provided excellent advice. Great store with great products and most importantly, great staff!!

    From ordering swatches online to visiting Byward to see the floor model, to tracking shipment, purchasing through EQ3 has been a most pleasant experience. The quality of product and service is worth the cost (and I mean that as someone for whom such furniture is a special purchase). I felt respected as a customer from beginning to end. This is not something I write lightly.

    Wow! After visiting a variety of furniture stores in Ottawa and Online, we made our way into EQ3 on a Sunday morning. Immediately upon entering we were welcomed by Nate and everything got better after that! Nate jokingly said it was only his second day after magically weaving through EQ3's products to quickly get us an awesome bedroom set - bed and side tables and then even more. Anyone who thinks "service is dead" should get over to see Nate at EQ3. No hard sell rather support to find us the best items to meet our needs. Thank you EQ3 for understanding that customer service makes all the difference. We'll be headed back after the first order arrives - Canadian Company! Great People (Nate and other team members), Service and Quality = success!

    Working from home during COVID in a small apartment I needed to rearrange my living space to include my office. I wanted furniture that was both functional and modular with a quality build that fit into my mid-century modern design aesthetic. Not an easy task! I had purchased furniture before from EQ3 that lasted over 15 years and made the decision to shop there after scouring the internet for other options. I made multiple appointments with Abdul and the team in the Market and they were able to help me choose the right colour leather for the Reverie couch (a classic that I had always wanted since EQ3 first opened). They also assisted me with configuring the layout of the Climb shelving unit (which was the only customizable design that I could find that used REAL OAK instead of particle board at my price point). I appreciated that they took the appropriate precautions to protect their clients when entering the store, following health guidelines and scheduling one on one appointments. Delivery of the custom couch was EARLY and the delivery team were like acrobats juggling a very large piece of furniture up a very narrow flight of stairs. The team followed up with me and were able to rectify promptly any issues I had with my purchases. I absolutely love the couch and the shelving unit!! (P.S. the boxy lights are great with Philips Hue colour lightbulbs)Thanks EQ3!

    I had to go through 3 different sets of Lyla Chairs due to paint quality control issues. EQ3 did refund the order, however the quality issues seem to have gone beyond just the paint. One of the legs on my chair snapped in half while I was sitting on it. Very dangerous!

    We are impressed by our Reva sectional, but was deeply disappointed by the customer service. From beginning to end, obtaining our sectional could not have been more difficult. We initially went to order the product in the store, but we were told the specific colour we had had to be ordered online. We did as instructed, but was then informed we could not finance the sectional without processing things in the store, so back to the store we went. The salesperson promised a 20% discount that he did not actually apply to our bill, which resulted in awkward phone calls from the store asking for the extra money owed. Then when it came time for delivery, I specifically booked delivery for a particular day which was not communicated to their other staff, resulting in further confusing phone calls. On delivery day, the two men that were sent kept arguing with each other; one person was clearly distracted and dropped our chaise and was kicking our furniture around the apartment. Worst of all, they sent the wrong sized mattress with our package, so we currently still have an incomplete sectional that sags and is borderline unusable after 2 months of waiting for it to arrive. The local office was also entirely unhelpful with all of these things, and every time I would call about an issue, they would give me the phone number for their head office and ask US to sort it out. The head office was only able to place a ticket for us instead of coming up with a solution, so it is unclear when we would even get the missing mattress for our sectional. It is unacceptable that a store selling furniture at the prices they do have such awful customer service. We will never purchase from EQ3 again.

    BE CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING!! I LOVE EQ3 and its products. The staff and sales people are nice but I got a damaged rug. When I spoke to customer service they offered to refund my delivery fee ($99 for a rug that over $1000!!!) or exchange my rug for another rug thats a alot more expensive and I would be responsible for paying the differnce in cost just because my rug is sold out! I'm extremely disappointed by the service I got after spending a decent amont at EQ3. Now I'm force to keep a damaged rug since I cant spend double or tripple the amount I paid for my rug on a exchange. The delivery people left a mess in my home and made my freshly painted walls stained with dirt. After wiping off the stains on my walls it will still not come off. Will need to hire someone to paint over it. Very disappointing.

    Great experience at this location. 3 floors with a wide variety of show pieces and wall of fabric styles so you can really get a feel for what material you want and in what colour. I was helped by Nate Fedorchuk who took his time to explain the different qualities of leather, what the different grades meant, and how they are processed. He was responsive, well informed, kind, and very helpful. Overall we had a great experience and got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this location and brand!

    We had a great experience shopping for living room seating at EQ3 thanks to Nate's expertise and professionalism! He gave us fantastic advice on the ideal fabric for pets. He even rearranged the furniture so we could visualize how our pieces would look together and which colours would be best. We highly recommend him!

    Purchased our new couch from Eq3 and had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Nate.     Beautiful and spacious location! I purchased a custom sectional from here back in July and Marshall provided excellent customer service. I had many questions about the materials, longevity and quality of the sectional, so I made an appointment. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with ease! When choosing the upholstery, he gave excellent suggestions and laid out the samples so that I could compare and see them up close. I wasn't ready to purchase it just yet, but he gave me a quote and some samples to take home to see what they would look like in my space. After another visit to EQ3 and a phone call, I made the purchase over the phone with him. The process was easy to go through. Overall, had a great experience and all of the staff I have encountered at this location were all so friendly and helpful!
