Pros:
-
Friendly,
helpful
staff
-
Rooms
are
spaced
apart
to
allow
more
privacy
-
Reasonably-priced
for
what
you
get
-
Cheap
&
fast
laundry
service
-
Peaceful
surrounds
with
birds
&
insects
chirping,
chickens
etc
-
Floor-to-celing
windows
looking
out
over
the
valley
-
Hammock
(and
khmer
daybed
+
recliner)
on
the
porch
-
Laid-back
vibe
-
Total
bill
settled
on
checking
out,
so
no
need
to
worry
about
carrying
change
for
every
little
thing
Cons:
-
Location
is
a
bit
out
from
the
sealed
road
(10min
walk),
and
no
tuk-tuks
drive
past
this
area,
so
you'll
have
to
either
ask
the
ladies
in
the
restaurant
to
call
you
a
tuk-tuk,
or
otherwise
take
a
10min
stroll
to
the
main
road
-
Very
very
limited
restaurant
menu;
many
items/ingredients
are
unavailable
-
Mosquitoes
and
biting
ants
-
BRING
INSECT
REPELLENT
-
Our
bathroom
sink
was
partially
blocked,
meaning
water
took
really
long
to
drain.
Also
the
tap
was
missing
its
handle
-
No
power
sockets
in
the
bathroom
(for
our
shaver,
electric
toothbrushes
etc)
-
Power
sockets
too
far
from
either
side
of
the
bed
-
Some
of
the
lights
in
our
room
needed
new
bulbs
-
No
air
conditioning:
our
1st
night
was
comfortably
cool,
the
2nd
okay
the
3rd
too
hot
to
fall
asleep...
-
A
LOT
of
steps
to
walk
up
and
down
to
get
from
the
entry
to
the
restaurant
...
then
to
your
room
...
then
back
again
...
Not
really
suitable
for
the
unfit
or
infirm.
Overall,
the
Tree
Top
Ecolodge
is
a
solid
option
for
those
looking
for
a
tranquil
couple
of
days
in
a
natural
setting.
However,
not
really
suitable
for
unfit
or
infirm
people,
as
getting
around
the
property
involves
a
lot
of
rickety
timer
steps,
up
and
down
the
valley.
Good
for
couples
and
small
groups,
not
so
much
for
families
with
young
children.
