Excellent location in heart of the "Calle de los Vinos" a vibrant area in the Old Town of Ourense. Tapas bar has an appealing traditional, historic appearance with bags of character. Named after nearby historic streetside fountain which marks entrance to all the bars. Service is pretty pleasant and fast despite being busy perhaps a bit coldish. The tapas are ok and relatively affordable : the smoked anchovy was tasty as was the roast ham mini roll albeit it should be served warm. The fresh tomatoes with olive oil was good. Washed down by well served draft Mahou beer. Not much space inside or out so be prepared to stand in street. All in all not bad but could be better.

This is the real old espana, good quality of food from local suppliers for a very very reasonable price. You won’t find anymore this kind of place in the big cities unfortunately. Do no miss the jamon asado and a real tomato salad, be ready to taste the real taste of the food!!!

This place is a must try when in Ourense. They have the jamón asado pinchos which are delicious and fairly cheap. They go well with a glass or pitcher of sangria.

Really nice tapas restaurant, we ordered few tapas and they were so good. Place is tiny so you need to eat outside. Prices are good vs quality. Hard to order if is peak hour!
