Salinity Salt & Flotation Spa

Spa

😠 I have never been so displeased with a service focused around relaxation & wellness. Opened the door to the salt tub and took one step in and counted more than 10 long black hairs floating around the entire area of water. Should have gotten a massage! People often mention float, experience, water, room, salt, therapy, tank, relaxing,

Before we did this I was optimistically sceptical if there can be such a thing. But our experience was pleasant. We arrived a bit early and the lady in the front allowed us to use the salt therapy room until the tank was ready. That room is a bit underwhelming, but it was relaxing. The tank itself seemed small before we got in, but it was great. It was an experience that I would repeat. We purchased it through Groupon to save money, I recommend this. They have a nice shower and separate room to get ready with the amenities for your hair and skin. I would say bring your own personal bag of hair stuff as you need to take a full shower. This is an experience you should try at least once.

Nice, private flotation experience. Clean facility. Friendly staff explained the whole process well. Water was the perfect temperature and was able to have a total blackout of light. As close to total sensory deprivation as I have ever been. The salt water was silky smooth and enabled me to totally relax. The salty air in the beach room was interesting … I could sense the air had salt in it although I couldn’t tell if it was helpful to me or not. I’m guessing multiple sessions may be required. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I definitely recommend the float and will return.

Good relaxation massage (I was really overdue and needed more of a medical massage, but I knew I was at a spa so not bothered by the service). I really enjoyed the atmosphere of bing like a beach cabana, and the float was amazing and really needed for both my body and my brain.

I just finished my first ever float therapy session and I am hooked. This establishment was everything I could have hoped for and more. They take care to provide a flawless experience from start to finish. Clean, comfortable and private -- perfection. I can't wait to do it again!

My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday for float therapy. Absolutely great experience. Private room with the float tank and shower where you can get undressed and dressed. Then there is a separate room with a blow dryer etc. You shower before and after the float. Ear plugs and head float rings are provided. ( we used the float rings until we were comfortable) you can float with your spouse the float tank is 20% bigger than a king sized bed. The woman at the front desk was very nice and so helpful. We will be returning! Also make sure to take advantage of the first time floating deal online when you book. I don't know why I didn't think of it before I went but make sure you drink lots of water before and after because you can get dehydrated.

Diane went out her way to make my date with my new girlfriend special! She exceeded my expectations! The float therapy was super relaxing. We will definitely go back!

Spa is very welcoming and clean! The second you walk in you can smell the salt in the air just waiting to cleanse your skin! This was my first time going into a sensory deprivation (float) tank! Diana was extremely friendly and accommodating and covered everything I needed to know before my husband and I hopped into the tank. The water was warm, at body temperature and was a extremely relaxing experience! There was a few times where my mind drifted off and when I "came too" I felt even more relaxed. I must say, I will be coming back, this is my new favorite zen happy place!

Such a great experience! Martina was the very best massage therapist I've ever had and the float experience is not to be missed. Treat yourself or a loved one to such a unique, relaxing, and healthy experience!

Lady that assisted us informative but curt. Had a lot of nice extras: ear plugs, head floater, warm towels. Salt room 'salt maker' was loud and a little distracting from relaxing. Good shower. Couples Salt float was an amazing experience; very Zen.

Facility: clean, staff helpful, had lots of toiletries available Experience: no thanks. It was like taking a warm bath in a closet in Florida in July. I found it hard to breathe, I kept bumping my foot and elbow (I'm only 5'4 so was not expecting this), it gave my a headache, and I couldn't even daydream (which I excel at in general). I love nothing more than the water, but this was absolutely BORING. When the water lights turned on to indicate it was ending, the water glowed like the bioluminescent bay in PR, that was probably the best part for me; wish I'd have played in that for the 45min. Anyway, if you're into it, it's probably a fine place to go?

It’s a wonderful facility (sometimes you hear the noise from the Chipotle kitchen through the water) but booking is difficult. I’ve floated a few times, and have always had technical issues. The process is outdated, which can lead to trouble if you’re booking on your phone. Plus, they don’t quite use the MINDBODY app, but they kind of do, which also leads to difficulty booking, because the information doesn’t match.
