Nice and welcoming people at front desk. The rooms are very good, spacious and very clean.The service is good, they serve good hot breakfast. The people will take care of all requests. As per my opinion is more worth for money. Because we stayed many places, but it’s great in kansas and Overland Park.

Clean, fresh and welcoming. The desk clerk was very helpful in fulfilling my needs for Advil and a diet coke. The bed was super comfy. The pillows just right. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner smelled and felt amazing. The free breakfast was full of many options, including hot scrambled eggs, perfect pancakes (a really awesome pancake machine) and many other delicious foods, including healthy options like fresh fruit, oatmeal, etc. ❤️

Clean everywhere. Well lit. Secure from outside entry. Rooms were perfect. Friendly front desk guy. We came in at midnight for a late check in after a concert in KC. Zero issues! Very quiet. Would definitely stay at next time!

This Hotel and Staff were phenomenal! We were in town because my Eldest Sister was very ill. The compassion shown us, as well as, arranging for our unexpected additional night's stay exceeded our expectations and made what was a very difficult time for us, easier without worrying over our lodging arrangements. We stayed at this location over the weekend for a wedding. The location is excellent as it in the middle of everything. Multiple place to eat dinner and lunch. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. We were with kids so having a breakfast at the hotel was very important to us. The front desk was every helpful with our inquires. Will definitely stay here next time.

It was a good stay for my family of 4. The staff was polite and helpful. We stayed here in mid-March for the proximity to my work, easy highway access, and the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool area was well kept, but I just question the water to chemical level. The hot tub water was… a little more viscous than expected and the pool water chlorine just seemed high. The towel bars and tp holder in the bathroom kept falling down because they weren’t close enough together. There were just a few too many little things to give it a 5 star.

They have great hospitality and good front desk people. The staff is very friendly to accommodate our requests. They provided nice clean and cozy rooms to stay. It's in a very nice location with everything Accessable to your stay. The breakfast is great, they serve hot breakfast. They have a late night check-in facility which is so convenient, I checked in around 2am in morning.

My family of 4 stayed one night and it was absolutely amazing. The room was nice the breakfast was super nice the kids loved the pancake maker! And they had a lot of fun in the pool. Love the fact that there was dove hair care and body wash products available to use would definitely stay there again!

Great pillows... two soft and two firm. Nice water pressure and cold ac. My only complaint was fighting with water sprinklers at 530am to get in my car and head to the office early. Other than that...5 stars.

Had our hardwood floors redone and needed to be out of the house. Chose this Holiday Inn, and glad we did. Raymond and Chris were amazing, and let us check in a little earlier. The room was clean and quiet (if the jackhammer type was next to us, I couldn't hear them). Excellent breakfast too.

Very disappointed, would not stay there again. The staff was not that friendly. Paid a high price for an older Holiday Inn. They didn’t want you to check in 1 minute early. When we got a room, the tile floor had dirt spots and a large clump of hair on it. The toilet tank kept running. Tried to explain to the front desk staff, the toilet was a maintenance issue, but she only brought the cleaning lady to look at everything. Had trouble explaining to the cleaning lady since she didn’t speak English and I didn’t Spanish. The floor was cleaned up, but even though I explanned to the front desk person to get maintenance, nothing was done about it. Had to listen to the toilet run all night. This was not up to the Holiday Inn Express quality we’ve experienced at other locations.

The staff was super nice and the hotel is very clean. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and some kids above me were going crazy until 1:30am. I hardly slept.

Hotel is well kept, clean and neat, room was good, shower was a little small, but workable for sure. Would have been a five star review, however the front desk staff was very rude, could have cared less we arrived and stayed on his phone the entire time we were trying to check in, which slowed that process down considerably. Good place to stay overall.

This trip was for a friends birthday. We got to the hotel a little early. We were greeted pleasantly and able to check in. The room was very nice. It was also just painted. They are in the process of doing a complete remodel of this hotel. All new beds. The bed is the biggest thing for me personally. I slept like a baby!! Breakfast had plenty of things to choose from. For me, this was nice because I only eat yogurt and oatmeal. I am very happy to say, I will be returning!! 😊

The service is good. Raymond at the front desk and the young lady in the evening are both nice. The walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking and moving around in rooms. Kind of impossible to sleep. Housekeeping starts early so you can hear them talking to each other and opening and closing doors early. Paid extra money here compared to other hotels because they have a pool. The pool is closed due to paint. Wasted money as there are many other options in the area which are cheaper and can sleep peacefully.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service at the front desk. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process. The room was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness that I truly appreciated. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering a variety of delicious options to suit different preferences. Additionally, the quality of the coffee provided in the room and at the breakfast area added an extra touch to my overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Only stayed one night, but every staffember I encountered was cheerful and friendly. Everything was very clean, bed was VERY comfortable, Normal free breakfast; everything was full and dining area was clean and organized. Check-in and check-out were very fast and both employees were cheerful and friendly. There were a couple little maintenance issues in the room, none of which affected my stay at all (a light bulb was out, clock was broken and a small hole in the carpet). Location was very close to my work meeting and was within walking distance or a 5-10 minute drive, to a large variety of restaurants and stores. I would stay again.

Honestly, I rarely take the time to post ratings, but this establishment deserves the words of praise. Was in town for a youth basketball tournament, and it was the cleanest hotel, the most comfortable beds, and the friendliest staff I have encountered in a very long time. The worker that screamed at us used our information to get our business and started writing bad reviews and telling his friends to do that too. They never came to our store so they have no rights to do what he did.The manager and the workers were not doing their job and didn’t did not help us all we wanted to do was extend her stay and they did not let us cause the worker said we were screaming at him but he was screaming at us and did not want to extend our stay. He also was only watching a show on his phone and not working. The manger is also friends with the worker that did not want to extend our stay, and said he wouldn’t extend our stay because of that. The manager was only siding with the work and didn’t help us. Very bad service not recommend. We have stayed at this location MANY times. ALWAYS friendly people and the rooms are spotless!! They have a WONDERFUL breakfast and it is quality every time. The pool is clean and the hot tub ALWAYS works! Probably one of the best Holiday Inns we have stayed at. Well worth the money!

Was a very nice, clean hotel. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast. Didnt like the fact that they lock the front lobby entrance at night time, have never known of a hotel to be able to lock their main entrance when guests are present. Loved the fact that things were within walking distance.

Very clean Friendly Hotel and Service, Best beds around! We usually stay at another Holiday Inn location but this is now our Favorite. We have also stayed at Intercontinental on the Plaza for years and still Love it, but these beds here are amazing! I’ll take good nights sleep over location anytime! Also dog friendly for those earlier morning outings! With Great complimentary coffee waiting! I actually have never written a review, But this Hotel deserves it.

Not as nice as some of the ones I have stayed at especially for the area, but will do. Our room was spacious and clean. . Would give 4 stars but the gentleman at the front desk wasn't very inviting. We walked in at around 10pm and we're the only ones inside. Waited three minutes or so while he just stood at his register typing. He finally asked for an id to get us checked in. He handed us our cards to our room. I asked what floor he said the second. I said can we get the top floor? He responded by saying you should of asked before I checked u in. I explained that my check in instructions when I booked my room clearly requests the top floor. He said "oh" "it does" and changed it to the 3rd floor. Mind you they have four floors so I still didn't get what I asked for. Never again. ...It's the little things..

The hotel was very clean. The clerk that checked us in was very friendly. Check-in was very efficient and our room was up to date. Not to forget the breakfast was wonderful lots of options to choose from. Overall we had a great stay.

We were so looking forward to a nice soak in the hot tub after a long drive. Once we got into the hot tub we quickly realized there was mold and algae along the whole thing, and the water was an odd color. Needless to say we got out quickly and were not impressed. One side of the bed sagged aggressively to one side when you got in, and the blanket was a comforter in a duvet and the whole comforter slid to one side so my husband froze! Sheets and pillows were clean and room was roomy, only positive things I have to say!

Best staff and great hotel!!! Very clean, new and smells good. Generous breakfast, soft beds and clean hotel. Every member goes above and beyond, even when it is something that is 100% outside their job description (like helping 2 stranded ladies change a stubborn car battery). You are always met with a friendly smile and a willingness to help everywhere you go while staying here. Very rare now-a-days but was very much appreciated.

Great place to stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very clean and the night stay was peaceful! Highly recommend if you are going somewhere in KC or Overland Park! Hotel is located near plenty of restaurants and shopping centers and within driving distance of Kauffman Stadium.

Great location. Close to lots of fast food and restaurants. Very conveniently located off of the highway. The employee, Chris, was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly. He had great restaurant recommendations. He was very helpful. He did an excellent job with breakfast. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Truly one, if not the best, hotel employee I have encountered.

I will give this a 2.5 star for the following ... The mattress was in need of replacement. I told them the first night. Was told it would be replace the following day. It was not changed out the during our 7 night stay. When I said something on the check out process, they told me they would tell maintenance. The room was in need of a complete cleaning. For instance, there was cobwebs on the wall by the ceiling. The basics were done however it needed better attention to details. Housekeeping is only done by request. This was not told to us as we check in, we found this out through experience. We removed the "do not disturb" sign so housekeeping would clean the room. When we returned later in the evening, the room had not been cleaned. When I went downstairs looking for clean towels, I was told I would need to request housekeeping services .. not automatic. The breakfast was ok and plenty to choose from.

Great property and staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool, as well! Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Really liked the pancake machine. Only downside was that the pool did not have any towels.

I stayed here 4 nights and the room was very clean and cozy and they had a good selection for breakfast. However the staff wasn’t very friendly. I kept getting bothered by housekeeping staff during the day even though I had do not disturb tag on my door.

I really like this hotel and have stayed here multiple times. They are always fast at checking me in and out. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean as well.
