Dr. Lakkirrady and his nurses are AMAZING and will give you the highest level of quality Care you can find. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. If I was grading them alone it would be a five-stars! The polar opposite is true of the office staff. By far the poorest performing office staff I have ever experienced at a doctor's office. In the past 2 years of being Dr. L's patient I have encountered countless challenges and problems with this office staff. I believe there is extremely high turnover and they are not able to retain trained staff. I am not sure what the reason for this is but it really damages the entire practice. Some of the problems I have experienced (beyond poor customer service) includes sending my medical records to the wrong doctors after I've given them specific fax numbers, telling doctors who submit roi's that I am not a patient (after being a patient for years), and telling me "they don't have a records department and they don't know who to transfer me to." And these three examples are just from the past few weeks. This has been consistent over the few years I have been a patient at this practice. Recommendtion: If you become a patient here be prepared to pay extra attention to every task involving office staff even if you think it is trivial. Be expected to follow up and definitely confirm that things are completed. It is best to get someone's email because communicating through the phones can be challenging. Even though the office staff is below par the expertise of the doctors and nurses makes dealing with them worth it.

Would love to tell you of a great experience, but still in the waiting room almost 90 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. On a day with a winter storm warning in town, the office should be communicating with patients ahead of time if not able to meet appointment times.

Terrible! I went in for my first appointment. Checked in went smooth until I got to the room. Took ECG and I have to wait 2hours to see the doctor. Went and had a test done. Took a month of calling in for my results and telling them that I wasn’t paying for them to realize they haven’t received them. Finally call me back with results and scheudled me to come in again. Unfortunately I had to reschedule so I called in during business hours no answer. LM and still waiting for a call back.

Our experience with Dr. Lakkireddy and the Kansas City Heart & Rhythm Inst. has always been first rate! The entire staff is consistently friendly, caring and very professional. They are the best in the business!

Initial consultation was fine with Dr. Darden. Trying to get a callback to schedule the two test he wanted me to complete before my follow up with him is another story. Appointment was 5/24 no call to set up test. Made 5 calls in June and July to try and speak to someone. Still no callback to set up the test. Very disappointed.

Honestly not sure what all the issues are at this practice. But there are many. When you call, don't expect to actually talk to a person. Well you might if you are just making an appointment. Call backs are horrible. After hour phone, no one answers it. Had to call ask a nurse. Drs are always late. People are rude. I understand everyone is short staffed, stop making excuses.

I am very pleased with how I have been treated from my first appointment through the follow-up appointments... Dr. Lakkireddy and his staff explained the procedure I had and helped me with the uncertainty of someone working on my heart... Through his skilled hands all went well... Thank you again....

Went for my first visit to see Dr Peter Park, a Medtronic Specialist. Everyone there greeted and treated me with the pleasant respect that you would receive from 'old friends', my situation was carefully considered during examination, and the treatment options provided met my needs precisely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Had a scheduled appointment for 8:45 am. Waited 45 minutes to find out my appointment was scheduled with a doctors assistant that was not even working for the clinic anymore. Finally saw doctor at 10 am.

We appreciate the excellent care we receive every time we visit the office. All the staff are helpful. Dr. Lakkireddy is especially knowledgeable and we appreciate his teaching style when he includes us in the plan of care.

Everything was perfect, from setting up the appointment as a new patient, through check in, the consultation and examination, throughout checkout and setting up a follow up appointment. I was extremely well pleased . Dr. Vasamreddy was very easy to talk to, made me feel right at ease, was most competent in explaining what we needed to do, and I was so pleased that I had been referred to him. Everyone I met in his practice was very pleasant, competent in what they were doing, and made being a new patient a great experience. Thank you for a great experience.

Although I saw Dr Koerber first, as a patient in the hospital, my whole experience with him and his group has been nothing but professional, caring and very knowledgeable. I felt very much at ease and felt like I was in good hands. The staff and assistants on my follow-up visit, along with his nurse, Samantha were all great.. Thank you to Dr Koerber for his excellent surgery skills and all of his staff for helping me on the road to recovery.

Dr Lakkireddy is the best cardiologist you could find.. He has been my cardiologist for over 6 years and I have received excellent care.I highly recommend him...

Always treated well by everyone. Dr. Shah was very thorough and candid in his explanation of procecedures i should consider. One question my wife asked when i got home: does oblation put the heart back in rhythm?

Like any provider, I recommend having your records with you and know what you need before the appointment. This is especially important if you’re taking a family member and advocating for their care. Seems they’re working out the kinks in the intake process, but at least they’re trying.
