Food was delicious. Service was fast. Restaurant was clean. Not your typical type of dine in. Order window, pickup window, and dine in area… not table service. Bar area orders/area is separate from food order. You’ll have to buy adult beverages on a separate/additional transaction from the food.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The best tacos 🌮 I’ve had in the Kansas City area. Quesabirria, Al Pastor, and Carnitas are my favorites. The consome is very addicting!

Really good food truck like taco place, I tried six different tacos and ate the chips and sauce. I think I went through about a whole bottle of one of their sauces. Not sure which taco was which. But they were all pretty good. Definitely worth checking out. Oh, and don't skip out on the speciality drinks behind the counter. The pineapple one is amazing. Not to sweet, but really really good.

YumAzing! Was told about this place at the Painted Tree and she was right, so delicious! The guy at the register was very helpful and nice. Food was excellent. Will definitely be back (even though I live 30 minutes away!)

Fast, friendly service and DELICIOUS food! Not bad prices either given the quality and authenticity. Definitely recommend trying it out, especially if you've never had birria tacos! Will be visiting again soon.

Randomly found this amazing place while looking up places to eat tonight and oh wow I wish I would have found this place sooner! So authentic and flavorful! I’m obsessed with the quesabirria tacos, their beans and their rice! Everything we ate was packed with flavor and the staff was so welcoming and great to talk to! Our new favorite go to place to eat and we will be back many times with family and friends!🔥😋🍽🌮

Try the tripe!! I've eaten here the last three days in a row. I can't stop eating these tacos. They include onions, cilantro, and ample sauces that I could drink. They have delicious and refreshing margaritas! The limes are picturesque and just what you need to supplement the perfect food! Thank you, Juan!!!!!

The tacos here were probably the best I've had, even beating out the ones I got in Texas. The variety is awesome and the whole vibe of the place is perfect. I like how the seating is nice and spacious and the sauces are on your table. I definitely would recommend going if you're craving tacos, especially on Tuesday.

This is the WORST IVE EVER HAD!!! Soggy , barria tastes like oil , no seasoning on the meat. If you black or like seasoned food or authentic Mexican don’t eat here. They are also rude and charge extra for EVERYTHING even pico de gallo which is basically just tomatoes. The tacos only come w onion and cilantro. Smh I hate Kansas.

If you want to experience authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. High quality meats, food preparation and professional service. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

I forgot that I visited this restaurant in 2021. I revisited in 2023. Food is still scrumptious. I ordered 3 quebirrias for $9+cents. Tender and Juicy. I'm kind of an introvert. The restaurant stays packed. I like to avoid crowds. I just pay, grab, and go.

Simply put- EXCELLENT. This was one of the best taquerias I’ve ever ate at. And I’ve been to a lot in over 15 states. Outstanding warm and soft corn tortillas, great chorizo, well seasoned birria meat with a great consome. Did I mention a salsa and toppings bar!!! This place checks all boxes for authentic food and a welcoming staff!

Best street tacos I’ve had in a long time. I was in the area and my son googled tacos and if we didn’t map this place we would have missed it. $5 margarita so good, you can taste the tequila. I had 2. So good, we ordered 6 tacos to go.

This is my new favorite place to eat, powered through 12 tacos today.. i am telling anyone and everyone I can about this place.. the food is amazing. The quesobirra tacos are insane.. writing this makes me want to go back.

I really liked the tacos. Very much like street tacos in Mexico. If I could improve anything is the salsa bottles. Those are for ketchup so they get clogged. Switch to normal salseros and spoons. Get them in Price chopper for cheap! They will go a long way and will also improve the customer experience. I'll go back soon. Excellent taquitos!

Chicken tacos served with onions, jalapenos are so delicious. There is a self service counter for salads and sauces (mild to hot) which is UNIQUE to this place. Cantaritos is just fine. Definitely recommend this especially if you are craving tacos on Tuesdays.

Went there to have a nice meal and waited 10 mins before they took our order they are understaffed. I order a torta and wanted to meats asada and alpastor and in the photo with it barely got any alpasto at all and the fries where way to salty

YES! Everything was good! The sauces were YUM. Also, the free coffee is amazing. Will definitely go again. It was so good we forgot to take pictures of the food. Next time!

The quesabirria tacos are so good! ❤️ The birria sauce fell a little short on flavor but overall, very quick service and really nice staff! $28 for 6 tacos and chips and queso, and 2 waters.

I would give five stars only for the very friendly service. However I will NOT be ordering from here ever again coz three times(today being the fourth time) I’ve ordered chicken nachos and they look like this !! Like why are nachos served in a million separate pieces like this?! Isn’t nachos supposed to be all ingredients TOGETHER in ONE WHOLESOME BOWL?! What am I missing here?! What is this mess every time I order nachos from here?!?! I am livid to say the least ! I’m so livid I tossed the entire food package and all its million pieces into the trash can !! Oh and the chips are not fresh either !! Very disappointed!!

Very good with a real Jalisco experience. Everything is served hot and is delicious. They even have the meat on a spindle cooker for the Al Pastor which was very good. The tacos were amazing especially the birria and consome. They have cold bars with cilantro, onions, pineapple, radishes, limes, and sauces. Go check it out if you like a more jalisco taste this place is definitely worth a go. They also have a small bar to enjoy.

By far the best place for authentic true Mexican food I’ve been here once in 2020, and today is a 2030 and I’m back here. I drove all the way from Fargo North Dakota to try them again.

So good! One of the best Menudo I have ever had. Will stop by every time I pass by Kansas City.

I drive an hour to eat here and it is SO worth it. I would eat here every day if I could. I recommend the Quesabirria and ALL of the tacos. Regardless of what you get make sure you get the birria broth to dip EVERYTHING in.

Love everything we ordered Canitas Buritos, Beef Soup and Tacos, magaritas and the other special drink. Self-Service type of restaurant, very casual dining, but the youg lady who took the order and the guy at the bar were very nice, also the chefs were friendly too. We'll bring more friends here.

Outstanding quesabirria tacos and tacos al pastor. The salsa bar was excellent, as well. Was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, but still room to sit. The staff was friendly and helpful, even as busy as it was. Quite a treat for OP.

Update- the place is great no doubt in that. The food too was great. Just that the place can be kept a little bit organized. And setup in the right way. Ordering and pickup are both adjacent and could barely hear when the order is ready.

Wanted breakfast tacos and decided to try this place based on the reviews about good tacos. They don’t serve tacos at breakfast…hmmm. We ordered something else. The staff was friendly. Watched kitchen and food prep staff while waiting for our order. Unsanitary and unsafe!! The staff preparing orders was chewing and eating something while making customer orders. Easy to see because no masks. Same workers drinking from personal styrofoam cups while making customer food. Same gloves used when eating their food and making customers food. Cash register guy goes to help with food, no washing hands and no gloves after handling $$ and cards!! Unappetizing inauthentic Mexican food arrives. Bacon was raw and why is that part of a Mexican dish? Over cooked eggs. We were so disgusted when the food came, didn’t touch it, threw it straight in the trash and left. TOO much was wrong to even address it. Not worth it and definitely not worth getting sick over a $23 breakfast.
