This was my second time back at Neethling’s Hof. I didn’t do a meal and wine tasting this time but if you haven’t done one here yet, enjoy. Once again I spent far too much on wine but I’m certain I’ll be pleased in months to come when savoring the Caracal. What lovely peeps working and sharing at the farm.

Castle Beach is a sprawling beach that is situated next to a couple of vacation spots in the town of Pearly Beach. There are plenty of dunes separating the beach from the town and a couple of roads that connect the two. The beach has white sand and usually cold water. That keeps swimmers away for a large part of the year, but it makes the beach an ideal place for a romantic stroll. Dress warmly and give yourself a chance to soak it in as long as possible.

Beautiful beach which is never over-crowded. The children enjoyed building sandcastles while we strolled along the beach. It is not wheelchair friendly at all, as it was with an immense struggle and effort to get my son over the wooden path to the beach. Fortunately two of my sons could help getting him to the beach. The water is cold but bearable.

Not your average beach, good for afternoon walks and rejuvenation. No braai facilities that means you cannot sociallize here just a beach, also the water is super cold. There are many rocks as well. The views are breath taking and I highly suggest you come for the sunset because it us absolutely spectacular! Here are the photos I took when I was here, enjoy🙂

Wonderful to have a week of sun and sea at castle Beach in pearly Beach. A week of carefree no stress holiday. Would recommend.

Beautiful little blueflag beach in Pearly Beach. Not handicap accessible. Not pet friendly. The beach is very clean and constantly providing entertainment to frequenters with a variety of interesting beached finds. See my photo of gooseneck barnacles that washed up attached to what looks like a eucalyptus tree.

Best winters dip

The beach is filled with sea bamboo, not an easy beach to take a stroll on. Other than that it's a quiet beach 😎 The bathrooms are clean with running water.

We are yearly regulars at Castle Beach, great beach and great waves. The high tide is always a hit with my family.
