We only stayed one night. We arrived late afternoon from Cape Town and needed to leave early the next morning. The staff went out their way to try and arrange an early morning breakfast for us. The room was spacious and had a sea view. The chairs inside facing the TV also had a view out towards the ocean. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Dinner was a short walk down the street to the nearby pizza restaurant.

A lovely Hotel in a good location - But the noise is just no up to the promised standard. Things you will hear in your room: - generator running during load shedding hours - people talking in front of hotel - people talking at the lobby - nocking (at your neabors!) door - your neabor showering The hotels solution is free earplugs on your bedside table.

This exclusive boutique hotel is at an absolutely stunning location and has the atmosphere and features to fit a facility of the class and stature. The staff are friendly the place beautiful and relaxing and a perfect spot to relax in comfort.

Amazing rustic hotel with brilliant sea views. The turndown service was amazing with hot water bottles and a fire ready for us when we came back from our travels. Service from the staff was amazing and could not be more helpful.

Super sweet hotel with a great mixture of modern and old style. Location is perfect and the best part of it, that the breakfast in the Frances at Auberge Burgundy is included. They have a great and healthy selection of food and drinks. Can only recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Auberge . We had a last minute booking for one night only . Wish we had more time to stay a bit longer . Room 17 was such a delight and the receptionist ( on duty 8 Dec ) was so helpful to find a taxi return for us to Constantia. Many thanks

France’s at Burgundy. Just amazing. Food with finesse. Carefully prepared, delicious, and eye pleasing. If you appreciate quality and are not looking for a plate-sized ribeye only, this is the place to go.

Despite the construction going on behind the hotel (which we didn't find that bothersome) we enjoyed a relaxing and very enjoyable few days here. Excellent location! Room was spacious and comfortable, with good attention to detail and cleanliness. A couple of thoughtful touches in the room were great to see. All staff encountered by us over the 3 days were very pleasant and helpful, seems to be a good team. Breakfast at Frances was very good, quite a little gem actually...

Exremely noisy rooms, the worst ever! Nearby open air disco, construction noises, birds walking on the roof, swimming pool pump next to the room, and so on. A nightmare 😱

Amazing hotel! The rooms are beautiful and stylish, as the rest of the hotel. The location is great and the staff was helpful and friendly! ***There was no AC in our rooms! The weather was chilly so it was just find, but if you’re going to stay in the summer you might consider it.

Great small hotel. Literally a few steps to the promenade walk way of Hermanus. Well appointed rooms. Very friendly staff. Outside rooms available. Many many restaurants right there and you are right in town. Perfectly placed with very reasonable rates. Book ahead! It's popular.

I loved our stay. The rooms and facilities are very comfortable. The views are great. It's very close to town, so it's conveniently located (but can be a bit more noisy in busy times).

We were well received at this beautiful venue located perfectly for Whale watchers or for any visitor for that matter. The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully designed. We would highly recommend a stay, we will return someday!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon road trip across the Garden Route and it was the best value for money by far of our whole stay. Beautifully designed and elegant decor, tons of extra thoughtful touches like hot water delivered to our room at night. Quality toiletries and linens, a perfect location with views of whales right from the room balcony, and the best hotel breakfast we have ever had downstairs in their cafe. Definitely recommend if you’re in Hermanus!

Stayed here for two nights and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this boutique hotel again. Wonderful service, perfect location, great breakfasts, as well as a very charming and quaint atmosphere…fits the bill for a lovely stay in Hermanus. Sea view rooms are also treated to a gorgeous sunrise! We didn’t have any issues with the neighboring construction.
