Our family just celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday party (in Korean tradition it is called the "dohl" birthday) and it is a big deal. It often includes well over 30 guests, and for us that means closer to 150 guests. Bertucci's was the perfect venue for us to celebrate this special occasion. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I could look out and see the entire restaurant floor space -- PERFECT! The guests could all sit in a large space where you felt like you were in a large dining hall but with beautiful wood accents around the room, warm lighting, and a cozy feel like you just came to the family cabin. You also have that brick oven pizza, so the warm flow of fires in the oven. And the menu options -- as expected -- were pizza and pasta of all varieties of flavors. There is also a private room, which has large glass windows around it as well as on the doors that lead to it, so your guests in the private room can have their privacy and quiet without feeling isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Not to mention there is a lovely fireplace in that private room and a flatscreen television, which you could hook up your HDMI cable to for streaming a movie or show for any young guests in your party. This private space can accommodate easily 30 adults very comfortably, but we ended up using this room for the main ceremonial table which is called the "dohl sang" -- the company we used for that "Han sang, dohl sang" took care of all our ceremonial and decorate table areas which fit perfectly into the main waiting space in front of the host's station upon entering the restaurant. Again, more than enough room for everything that you needed. We ended up doing a restaurant buy-out, which is based on a minimum food cost -- separate catering menu available. The price was as expected, but comparable with our alternative option -- and probably a lot cheaper than some of the pricier restaurants in the area. When it came down to it, the alternative option for us was to rent a hall space which would have tables and chairs included in their cost, but then we would have to get another vendor for catering, would have to buy our own cutlery, plates, cups, table center pieces, table covers for all of the guest tables plus the serving tables (which would have to be buffet style), and determine how we would play music in the background, etc. For a few hundred dollars more, all of that would be take care of by the restaurant -- by Bertucci's -- and they would even serve the food, and do all of the setup of the tables as well as clean up once the event was over. Just cannot beat that! Throughout the entire process leading up to the event, the managers Ocho and Jared were very responsive, easy to communicate with, and made sure that our whole party was taken care of. Even on the morning of, last minute complications by one of the vendors barely made us skip a beat, and we had, what our guests were referring to as, an amazing and well organized and beautifully decorated event! This could not have been possible without Ocho, Jared and the whole Bertucci's Columbia team, including the busboys, cooks, and servers -- everyone played a pivotal part and helped make our daughter's birthday party memorable and perfect. Even if you don't plan to do a whole restaurant buyout, the service and communication that we experienced was great that we will definitely come back for any large party events. And with a large family, it's very possible we'll be back multiple times. Therefore, I strongly recommend this location and restaurant for anyone having a birthday, graduation, business event, reunion, networking event, wedding, or any other special occasion. You will not be disappointed so long as Ocho and Jared are assisting. Thank you again, Ocho and Jared!

Waiter took a while to come by after we got seated. He had to be reminded of the salads we ordered. Came to check on us after we were clearly done. Took a while to get our check. Food was surprisingly tasty. Prices were a bit pricey though for the quality of food. On par with a sub/pizza shop that also happens to have pasta dishes.

Great Food, great Staff. We go and visit the place once to twice a month. Whether picking up pizza for the office or eating in, it is always excellent. The General Manager Ocha takes ownership of the restaurant and ensures we are good to go every time we visit. I would highly recommend the pizza and the restaurant....It is ours and my office favorite place !

Went there for our first family dinner out since covid. The gentleman that sat us down was great. Our waitress was overwhelmed by a really large group. She was nice but the wait time for everything was extremely slow. Had another waitress refill our drinks and mine was covered in lipstick. No sorry or anything just said “oops” and took it away. Food was ok but won’t be going back.

When we got there, the ambiance was very professional and well-kept. But everything else was very low balled. Our drinks, especially my lemonade I got tasted strange. And even though we had gotten there first before others did, we still got our food after them which I find strange. In total, we spent around 20 minutes waiting for a singular pizza that ended up being quite disgusting, along with the service being quite iffy as well. The only thing keeping me from giving this place 1 star, is how well-kept it looked. Though in general I would not recommend.

My experience at this restaurant was amazing. I see there a few negative comments but i could only vouch for the experience I received. The food and. Service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to give it a shot!!

Our server was great!! The food tasted fresh and amazing!! We started off with the Tuscan Chicken Wings which were phenomenal. I didnt think it would be that good and it definitely surpassed my expectations. My son had the pepperoni kids pizza, he loved it! I even took a bite and it was delicious!! It came with a drink and an ice cream so ofcourse he was happy about that. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs from the regular menu. The meatballs were flavorful. She loved her meal as well. I had the chicken Alfredo which was creamy and delicious! My man got the Rigatoni, Broccoli & Chicken. He said it was good. For dessert, my daughter tried the cannoli for the first time in her life. She tore it up! Absolutely loved it. Thanks for making our first time at Bertucci's great!!

This use to my one of the favorite restaurant when the existed in NJ. My daughter and me we missed this one in NJ. While passing from DC to NJ noticed they still exist and went for family Dinner. Still same rolls and oil dip and amazing eggplant pizza. No change in taste. Hope they return someday in central NJ. Service - was not excited as person taking care of table kept dissappearing for while. After first round of oil dip he mentioned they are out of OIL dip and this was aorund 7 or 8 PM. He forgot to bring kids pasta and claimed we forgot and he assume 1 pasta plate will be shared between 4 kids (age 5 to 13)

About a week ago, I walked in here curious to try this place out. Didn't realize it was Happy Hour and ordered a ton of appetizers knowing I was working long hours and late the next couple of days. My bartender suggested everything. I got meatballs, mozzarella fritta, and Tuscan wings. All very tasty. And plenty leftover without having to cook or anything. A must try!

Visited with some friends a few weeks ago. After sitting for the nearly the whole meal while we waited on our entrees to be slowly brought out separately we finally had to ask for the check so we could leave for our appointment even though we hadn’t finished eating. I never did receive my pizza ordered. When I asked the waitress she said she forgot to put it in. I gave them another chance. My husband and I ordered to go tonight so we would know what we wanted would get ordered. After picking it up and getting home, we were given a plain pepperoni pizza instead of the much anticipated ultimate Bertuccis pizza. Not only is the pizza given a cheaper pizza than the one ordered, it was smaller than the one ordered. Not sure I can even venture another try in the future. If you want what you order, don’t go here.

Pretty solid tbh the rolls are pretty good and I enjoyed the margherita pizza! Calamari and Caesar salad were ok. Great service!!

I'm glad to say that Bertucci's still is an excellent choice for lunch. This is my first visit in several years and I ordered a lunch special which included a salad, a pizza with my choice of two toppings and hot bread fresh out of the oven. The food was served quickly. The service is excellent and the food was delicious. I had a small pizza with sweet Italian sausage and pineapple. Yes, pineapple does taste good with pizza and my wife had a margarita pizza. We both had the regular house salad. I had the Italian dressing she had the balsamic. A a feeling lunch for a reasonable price under $15 for lunch.

Amazingly delicious! Love the little bit of spice the chicken parmigiana has! One order will feed 2-4 easily!!!

The food came out hot, steaming and DELICIOUS. Our server was also very very sweet. Will be back.

I did my daughter’s birthday party. All the kids got apron, hat and made own pizza. It was wonderful and successful! Other parents said they had a great time and nice to have a private room for the only birthday party group. The manager(Joe) and server were very polite and helpful. I would recommend to other parents for birthday party and also for meals with kids. I will continue to come back here with my kids and family/friends.

The staff was sooooo nice!!!!!! I love this place!!! They are always fast with the food. Ms Kelly is the best manager! She always greets me with a beautiful smile! Hansel was my server and he was accurate with my order and I didn’t have to wait at all!

Bertucci's is a family-friendly chain restaurant that serves classic Italian dishes like pizza, pasta, and salads. They also have a bar that serves cocktails, wine, and beer. I recently went to Bertucci's with my family and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We started with the Mozzarella Fritta, which is breaded and pan-fried mozzarella cheese served with pomodoro sauce and fresh basil. It was a great appetizer and the perfect way to start our meal. For the main course, we had pizzas and pastas, and my daughter had ravioli from the kids' menu. Overall, we had a great experience at Bertucci's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I would definitely recommend Bertucci's to anyone looking for a good Italian meal

Oh my goodness gracious my girlfriend and I absolutely fell in love with the pizza at this location. They make it in front of you. It’s cooked in a brick fire oven so when it comes out, it’s bubbling hot and fresh. I think the only thing that was surprising was how empty the restaurant was. We did come at a late time, but I think since the raising Cane‘s open next-door, the atmosphere of this place is kind of empty. But other than that the customer service was wonderful we had a lot of attention on us not too much that it interfered with our meal and overall we just had a really good time here. We’re definitely gonna come back again soon.

Great wood fire pizza, wonderful service. Although a chain, this Burtucci’s make pizza comparable to the best high end pizza places in DC and Baltimore.

I like the menu and the place is clean and comfortable. The last three times I have been the service has not been great, with items ordered but never delivered and problems splitting the tab. The food has been good and it's quiet so you'll be able to talk.

We had a party of 10 and our server's name is Nolan. He was spot on delivering each meal not only accurately, but nothing was cold. Also, Nolan had a party of 25 people at the same time. He was professional, courteous and easily accessible if we needed anything. We all were very pleased with our meal, as usual. Thank you for making our reunion one that we will remember. We look forward to having you as our server again.

We enjoyed our meal here. I recommend everyone to try this place. Appetizer and pizza were so delicious. Nice environment. Hansel was the best waiter and very attentive. Always approach the table with smile.

This was recommended to me by a colleague. I got the ravioli also by recommendation. The food was pretty good. The wait to get the check however was very long. Granted, it was a party of 15 or so. I think we all waited nearly an hour to get our checks. Don't that let that detract from going here though. Just ask for the check after you order. 😉

Homecoming night for my daughter & her boyfriend so we decided to have dinner here. The server was fantastic & attentive. This is a usual date night place for my husband & I & we're never disappointed. We stopped to do photos prior & it had been a long day so we were all hungry 😋

We took advantage of their "buy one pizza--get one free" promotion. I cannot rave enough about the veggie pizza. It was very colorful and appetizing with the variety of veggies, and surprisingly delicious. If you love veggies like I do, you will find this pizza heavenly.

We've been here many times in the past, but it's been a while. Dinner out with my wife. The pizza, wood-fired, was as great as I remembered it to be. The waitstaff was wonderful. Was not very noisy. Location is very easy to get into and out of. Overall just a nicer place for dinner. We'll definitely come again!

We went to Bertucci's for pizza. All was going good until me and my daughter went to the glass to watch them make the pizzas. She yells "A BUG!". A good sized bug crawls from under the cheese. The girl making the pizza sees it and just keeps going. It crawled around for a bit. I told the waiter we are leaving he asks why. I told him and he seemed to already know. It was as if he heard it before. When there is one bug I'm sure there are many more.

So disappointing! We have frequented this establishment for years, but lately the service has been awful the last 3 or 4 times we have been there. People waiting for long periods of time to be seated and the hostess is just walking around aimlessly. The place is no where near packed and the wait staff takes so long to come back to get our order after bringing our drinks. Obviously things have changed there because we don't see any of the old staff that we used to see regularly and no one is ever smiling. Sadly I can definitely see this being the next location to close.
