As empty as my pockets after Christmas when the cream eggs come out because creme eggs come out after Christmas, they are expensive, usually £2 for 5 but they are just too good. Back to the message at hand, it is always a hollow area, reminds me of a withered tree in an empty field in some derelict area in North Wales perhaps. Probably empty because of Westgate, that would be my assumption, but maybe it is just bad. Going to give it two stars now actually, purely out of pity.

This shopping centre had once been full of shops, with shops like Zara, H&M but when the Westgate shopping centre opened, the stores began to leave this shopping centre and most of the shops are closed. I only visit this place to go to TK Maxx or Tortilla. The Queen Street entrance/exit has been blocked so there is only access through Shoe Lane or Cornmarket Street. It will soon be redeveloped into student accommodation, offices and new shops and restaurants.

Currently under construction but used to be a great area for shopping. I think there are plans to renovate it soon

20230714: A tad quiet, despite the summer tourism boom, due to redevelopment work.

Soon to be closed this small shopping area holds one or two useful shops such as TK max.

Most of the shops are gone. I only visit TK MAXX. Its a must when I visit the city centre. They have a bit of everything. I hope the refurbishment turns out nice.

Huge mall in the area, with many of super big stores like Primark, John Lewis. The open air design make us feels really relaxing.

It's planning to be pulled down and rebuilt as a public open space with some shops so gradually the existing shops are closing. TKmax is still there. It's now just a useful cut through from Cornmarket Street to the new shopping centre when it's raining.

I like this place only because there is Tkmaxx, my favourite place to buy clothes, accessories and other stuff... 🌹

Half empty of shops, a taste of how the city may look without tourists' or students money. Nice and ordinary

There are some really good shops, however many units are empty. I believe that it is awaiting redevelopment so hopefully in the not too distant future we shall see a new and improved Clarendon Centre.

The University City of Oxford. Overflowing with international students and student pubs. A combination of historical buildings and modern structures.

Plenty of room to get around on my mobility scooter, but also most of the shops seem to cater for people with lots of spare cash not the people who live here all year round

Awesome Christmas atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly in any shop visited. The Christmas market was beautiful with lovely stalls... especially the gluhwein on a chilly day.

Its awaiting redevelopment, so it's mostly empty. You have to really want something, in one of the few remaining shops, to go there. Looking forward to the new Clarendon Centre.

The virtually empty shopping centre is not very impressive. With about 80% of the units vacant. It only serves as a cut-through between the city centre and the Westgate mall

Just like all of Oxford centre. An absolute pain if you drive there. Park and ride is useless as it's probably quicker to walk than the bus journey and when busses eventually arrive, they get stuck in the same traffic!

Adverts show a lot in reality is nothing much. If you not live there (locally) is no point to go there...
