Well worth a visit here! So much to see and so much to take in. Such a nice ambiance in here and feels like going back in time. What’s great is that there are so many independent shops etc in here. It’s not your normal high street where you see the same shops everywhere. You have barbers, cafes, food stalls, plants, fruit and veg, sweet shops, book shops, cake making shops - just so much goodness in here. If I lived nearer here I’d definitely be a regular. Just so nice! Will definitely visit one day again!

Awesome place to hangout and take a little break from walking about Oxford. Loved the marketplace feel of it all! It reminded me of a smaller scale version of the Grand Central Market in Los Angeles. We even got to buy cake for my niece's birthday at the cure little cake shop there.

Pretty neat little market that has plenty to see, both places to eat and shop. Walking up and down the crowded alleys was an experience in itself and the amount of unique and fun shops could have you spending hours browsing the various goods.

A must visit when you are in Oxford! Buy a cake from the historic The Cake Shop, grab some delicious cookies from Ben's Cookies and refresh your collection with some beautiful hats from The Hat Store! Just 5mins walk from the primary bus depot, Covered Market is stretched across a considerable area across the High Street.

The Covered Market in Oxford is a very pretty and lovely market where one can find a number of shops for different items - mostly food (fruits, cafe, bakery, take-aways, cakes, etc). Besides being a market, it's also worthy of a tourist attraction in its own way. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Oxford to add this charming covered market in their itinerary.

A great looking market place with lots of different shops to look into. Also have a few Alice in wonderland features hanging from the ceiling which looked pretty cool. There are a few cafes to eat in around the place. We went to browns and had a light lunch which was great. Would definitely recommend browsing around.

Great independent shop market. The recent addition to this market has made it a really cool place to spend the day. Great restaurants, really cool shops..

An amazing range of small, independent stores, perfect for sourcing and purchasing a unique gift. Also offers a brilliant variety of places to eat/drink, and being under cover, the smells emanating around the market are beautiful (depending where you are and what your taste is of course). You could easily while away hours just wandering around, so much is there too see. Well worth checking out.

A great walk around the covered market. lots of great small shops and stalls selling nick nacks and craft items, jewellery clothes and amazing food. A must visit if you've never been to Oxford before. can be a bit crowded but adds to the bustling experience.

This covered market in Oxford has nice eateries and cafes within the compound. There are also other shops here as well. As for the eateries, they provide the usual fare of street food and restaurant food setup all in one place attracting patrons locally and tourists as well. The Thai restaurant Sasi's serves really good rice or noodle sets. Recommended to try the Green Curry absolutely. You need to spend about a few hours here to cover the whole market.

Nice market to walk around for eclectic shops and snacks. As the name suggests, it is covered so a good place to hang out if it’s raining out.

It’s good to see it recovering from Covid-19. The central point has a nice pub and bakery. There are several fast food places /cafes. There is a barber, clothes shop, cheese shop and fruit n veg. It’s mostly locally owned, very few chains. A good place to visit.

Every city should have a wonderful covered market like this. Such an eclectic mix of food and shops with a real buzz. The lovely "Alice in Wonderland" theme makes it essential that you find all the characters lights of which two are pictured. Well worth a visit if in Oxford.

One of my favourite places in Oxford! Great for a browse, to stop for a drink or lunch, to take visitors. Love that they're open late this Summer. Come for love music, a beer and a haircut😉 Don't forget to look up at the beautiful original decorations hanging from the ceiling, referencing Alice in Wonderland. Look out for the ever changing postbox topper too 😊 Come and support local independent businesses, which is what Oxford has always been about.

Beautiful covered market with many small shops selling everything from wool to noodles. Notable shops are Wicked (confectioners), Brown's (cafe since 1924), M Feller (butcher), and a traditional barbershop. The Covered Market is a must for any visitor to Oxford.

Words like quaint and distinctive come to mind. It's a collection of shops including a number of food outlets. It opened on 1st November 1774. Worth seeing as a tourist attraction if you happen to be nearby, but don't go far out of your way for it.

Dynamic and charming place where you can find famous delicatessens for example Oxford blue cheese, Oxford sauce and mermelade or try one of its small restaurants with international food. Ideal to start the day with a good breakfast before explore the city.

Buzzing on a Sunday afternoon even though many shops are closed! Most of the cafes were open though. Nice to visit and do a spot of shopping :)

Really nice place, lots of great little shops and cafés. What looks like paper lanterns based on Alice in Wonderland hanging from the cool looking ceiling. We had lunch at Sasi's Thai, delicious, quick and great value. The coffee in Brothers Greek café was awesome. A wide variety of shops in a unique location, we loved it.
