After visiting the store today I was very disappointed with the service I experienced when my daughter was in the process of buying a pair of Prada glasses, another customer interrupted 3 times halting my daughter's purchase and the assistant attended to his query. When challenged she carried on assisting him. We aborted the sale due to lack of professional service.

Very disappointed with the delivery service. I had organised someone to to be home for install. I was given a time slot, I received no phone call prior the delivery. It then reached the end of the time slot and I had to call to find out the delivery was cancelled. I was not made aware of anything. The washing machine then was delivered the next day but without install or removal of the old one which had been paid for and included in the purchase. I was offered a good will gesture of a refund on the removal. I had to wait till Thursday for the removal given no priority after being messed around. Overall an awful experience when usually John Lewis is my go too. The washing machine also had a dent in the back but after all the faff I honestly couldn't be asked to make another call.

0/5 stars for the staff that was working today at the baby department in Westgate. 2 young ladies that were chatting to each other when 2 couples and myself were there. I went to them to ask if the item in the box was displayed somewhere and one of the girls just showed me in which direction I should go. A good few minutes after, I asked about the final price for an item that was on the sale shelves and had damaged packaging but not a reduce price on it. All I got was “it’s full price, sorry”. Maybe it’s not only the staff that it’s LACKING everything a sale person should be, but also John Lewis for having so low standards and hiring these people anyway.

I tried to buy something from John Lewis and kept checking different stores' stocks. When I saw in a store there is available to request one item I did it and they will call me between 2-4hrs. After 4hrs i visited the store and I was told it is out of stock when in the app showed 3 in stock... This has been happened 3 times in three different John Lewis stores. I mean... ridiculous.

Disappointed the baby department is not great no swaddle blankets, no cribs blankets very little choice in basic sleep suits and vests not many hooded baby towels so not a great experience. So thought we would have lunch. Very little choice of sandwiches, no milk for hot drinks had to ask for some which took ages no soup spoons again had to ask very disorganised and when we wanted a table every free table still had trays and dirty crockery on them so had to clean one ourselves. So my special day with my daughter was not great.

Completely shocked at the level of service at the Oxford store. Firstly, I went to the counter and paid for a towel. Three members of staff were standing chatting, one girl decided she would serve me. The assistant did not say please, thank you or ask if I needed a carrier bag. Second purchase today was at a different counter, a pair of children’s shoes, again the same behaviour from a different assistant, no basic manners at all. I understand that these are Saturday staff, but I worked at Tesco as a 16 year old, basic manners were a must when dealing with the general public. Some staff training essential at this store.

A horrible place to both eat, shop and work. As an ex employee I can very much inform the general public of the lack of hygiene and general disgrace the staff are. I recommend to only rats. Ps, You think your cutlery and plates are clean, they are not x

Absolutely amazing !!! Spread over three floors, John Lewis and Partners in Westgate has a massive collection of almost everything for home. Furniture, electronic items, crockery, cutlery, bed, clothes, luxury items, gift items, board games and what not... There is also a cafe and ice cream shop on ground and top floors. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Delivery service absolutely appalling, late, disregarded prior advice regarding narrow roads, refused delivery on site because their truck was supposedly too big (although there were in fact ready solutions, proved by a perfectly smooth and unproblematic delivery later); rude, and dismissive when I begged them to assist. All this after a fortnight's wait. Plainly, customer concerns matter not one iota to John Lewis, as long as its staff are not inconvenienced. What's the point of trying to do business with an organization like that that? Excellent service in-store doesn't help when you cannot actually get your purchase. Truly, the worst commercial service l have experienced, anywhere.

Went to the John Lewis cafe for the first time today. My tea and cakes were amazing and Hannah was extremely helpful with the information about allergens. They were super friendly! Great experience, I would recommend.

Monday 19th of June at half four I met Rose at the 3rd floor at the travel section. She helped me by offering details about a backpack in a lovely friendly, professional, and gracious way. Top customer service. Thank you, Rose, 🌹

Had great customer service from Cecily in John Lewis Oxford who managed to rush my checkout though as the store was closing when she heard the purchase was for a wedding the next day. Thank you Cecily!

In my experience, the best department store around. Great choice, high quality, knowledgeably helpful staff and reasonable prices. The cafe and restaurant are also worth visiting. The personal shopping and wedding list services are also worth using.

Went to the cafe, nice cake and seating. Self serve coffee the same price as the coffee bar which is annoying it's not the same. They also messed up the bill by missing items on my tray

John Lewis Oxford is unfortunately my local JLP. I went in today and asked for the price of 2 different fragrances and was told by the associate assisting me that I had to ask someone else for the price of the other fragrance as she doesn’t work with that fragrance. Now, I’m no rocket scientist but I’m sure all you have to do is scan both fragrances to get the price. Or maybe put a price on all your fragrances and have associates who help with the whole department.

Amazing customer service! Graeme had served us today and was so helpful in every way. Helped us through our browsing, very friendly and made us feel at ease before our purchase. He went above and beyond for us and we have genuinely never experienced better customer service and in my opinion deserves to be paid extra bonus- thank you so much Graeme :)

First visit to John Lewis in Oxford. Really good store over three floors. Had a tea and carrot cake in the cafe on the top floor. The carrot cake was delicious. Cribbs Causeway John Lewis is the best in the area. Also go to Kuoni on the top floor of tge store which is a bonus.

Amy in the baby section was AMAZING! We had a baby appointment with her last night as we’re expecting our firstborn. We learnt so much from her and really enjoyed our appointment!

Was pleasantly greeted and assisted by Chris, who had an outstanding knowledge and was able to recommend variety of coffee machines. Highly satisfied with customer service and my recent purchase.

It was the first time we visited this store at Westgate. The sales lady Beverly was helpful, friendly and patient. She took time to answer all our questions and provided excellent customer service. Her positive attitude and smile is a great asset to the organisation.

Very nice goods. A trip to the restaurant was a bit confusing at the hot drink stand. The milk was in a black coffee jug type container would have been better in a milk jug. The staff were very pleasant.
