I love Costco, but totally have to agree with another post. All of a sudden ☹ prices are being hiked up. One week I buy avocados for like $ 5.99 which is a dollar a piece. Ok not bad. Now $8.99 !! What is going on ? ? (I will not buy them there anymore. Period. I can get a better price somewhere else. ) And for that reason this week, I dropped to 1 star. Otherwise I have always had them at 5 stars. Lol, this week they went up to 9.99.

This Oxnard Costco has different items than other ones in Ventura County. Plus, it has milder weather, so your car isn't an oven when you load your purchases in. This white Christmas tree went on display in October, and it is lovely! Costco has the best Christmas items!

The store itself is fine, clean, and easy to find items. But had a horrible experience with the cashier Thomas P with the hand tattoo he had a serious attitude problem and threw all of our products back in the cart and ended up smashing one of our fruits so we had to return that, and then he also double charged us, and then we had to return that as well we got help from the supervisor and customer service desk which was good but specifically Thomas P working the cash register has a serious attitude problem he needs to fix. No words were exchanged. He just has an issue working as a cashier and dislikes his job so he takes it out on the customers for no apparent reason.

Hit and miss. Some great prices on items, others not so much. Bad reviews for auto repairs and auto insurance. I can get similar prices on food items if not better at Albertsons. I hate that they move items around so your forced to walk around the warehouse to find your go to items. People with little time or limited mobility are negatively affected by this strange policy. I get why they do it, yet, it makes me think twice about going back.

They have great deals especially if your just gonna do lunch there. They have 1/4 hot dogs and a drink for 1.50 which will fill you up they also have other drink choices along with pizza and a bake chicken roll you need to show your membership card to get these deals. You must pack your patience and set a good 2 hours aside when doing your shopping for everybody is in everyone way I would compare it to black Friday in the store. All in all though the place has great food to take home an prepare and deals on bulk items.

Guys, it's Costco. What can possibly go wrong.. Great prices for buying in bulk . If not a member yet, then become one. Great gad prices as well. Items are highly quality, from meat to appliances. From clothes to jewelry. But best part of all good return policy..God bless

Amazing customer service!! I was looking for some K-cups and I thought they were out. I asked about it when I was checking out and a very nice rep named Stephanie helped me. She went and found them in a place where they are not normally located. It was awesome. So thank you Stephanie you rock!!! Definitely my only Costco from now on!!!

7/30/23: figuring out how to get to the Costco Gas station was bewildering. Once inside the store I happened to come across this USC water bottle set (they also had UCLA). And the food court pizza slice to go came in clutch as I went to nearby Malibu for a sunset dinner on the coast.

Can get busy, parking is never a problem. Come here if you want more of everything cause they don't do less.

Adequately-sized Costco. Lots of options. I find myself buying more than I intend on purchasing every time i go there. Rotating selection of baked goods. Often crowded on weekends. Best time to go is during weekdays before 5pm. Only complaint is sales tax is a little higher in Oxnard, but with the distance to another Costco and price of gas, it may be worth it to you.

This Costco is fine, but you need to be careful and not go overboard on any large an item you may never use. The selection is awesome for sure. I did use the Optical Department with my United Healthcare Insurance Optical plan and got 2 pairs of glasses for a fabulous price. The parking lot is very poorly designed and is often mayhem. We stopped using the Carwash as there are new Facilities here now that offer a better wash/dry + a very nice Vacuuming and detail area.

Busy place on a Sunday afternoon! Having an app to help find things or putting labels on the aisles would be helpful, especially when not shopping at your local Costco. But, hey, Costco's great!

2nd time here and some of the staff didn't realize to set a zone for the entrance line and so the front is overcrowded and they're expecting people to back up. Why didn't you expect this type of turnout on a Sunday? Are you rookies or something? It doesn't take geniuses to figure out that an area should of been sectioned off. I've heard great things about Costco but it's not looking great so far.

Horrible Customer Service! I shop for my grandmother who is 95, and can’t move. I filled two whole carts and was ready to pay but they denied me because she wasn’t there. When I told them that my grandmother was elderly and couldn’t move anywhere they gave me the worse attitude ever. Very disgusted by their customer service we are now thinking about switching memberships somewhere else.

Average Costco with above average waiting in lines and crowds. Don't expect food court to deliver on call ahead or reservations on time. They'll quote 15 but expect 45.

Always go to Costco first before trying other places. Usually, their price is better. If you want to know whether they might have a product, you can check a delivery service to see if they are able to deliver it. If they can then that Costco has the item in store.

I went there to cash back my redeem coupon. They asked me to buy something in order to pay back for redeem coupon. Cashier treated me who I asked cash for redeem coupon as a beggar. I bought lots of goods there. And I payed it by credit card. He can redeem cash for my coupon any ways. But they didn't. Very rude and unkind. Really terrible. Costco Oxnard #420 Op# 183

Not sure what is going on with this store. We have experienced a gradual decline in service and availability of products. However the lack of friendliness of service is getting to be too much. Proper greeting and being helpful are things of the past. You have to ask for boxes and it is disturbing to see how they handle the products in front of you. We have expressed our concerns to so called management but they are clearly more annoyed with the complaints than wanting to address the issues. Wish we had more options.

Through Instacart, I ordered food to be delivered to my son in CA. Living in DE, I was reticent about having food delivered. Happily, I report the food was excellent, and especially, the young man shopping for me was so dependable, conscientious, and communication was excellent. He delivered 30 minutes sooner than original order. My son said that the young man was extremely friendly and helped bring in the food to his house. Now, I will not hesitate to have future deliveries from Costco delivered

Great American establishment. I gave it 3 stars for one reason. I have several family members who are about to die due to their dietary choices (life of hot dog consumption.) I was hoping to snag a great Costco deal on caskets but to my disappointment they no longer carry them. That shocked me to death (no pun intended) because I was really hoping to grab a few at once. One for myself if the price was right. Otherwise, a great place and awful people but that's expected at your local Costco. Keep it up Costco gods.

I LOVE Costco!! Well stocked, great value, low prices for gasoline, always clean with friendly staff. Over 150 stores in Calif. and I hit 6 of them on my recent trip from SoCal to San Francisco! I am Executive member which I would encourage every person to consider: great perks!!

Costco is wonderful. We shop there all the time. I have the credit card which earns cash back. They have quality products with satisfaction guaranteed plus price match. I buy everything from groceries to appliances at Costco. While traveling we also find them to get gasoline, which is always cheaper.

Good prices especially for families, great savings and they have everything. Also the roasted chicken is great, as is most of the food they make. The produce is good too, I personally think if you are single that you may want to split some stuff with a friend because the packages are sometimes in 2 packs or more. Overall, I've always liked going to Costco

I always enjoy seeing new products at Costco with reasonable prices. This one can get very busy but the wait in line doesn't take long. They have plenty of fast moving cashiers that are organized to keep the line moving.

Costco is great. Everyone likes it for all that its. Mostly. As with the gas I would think they could do a better job handling lines, at least at the busiest times. Checkers are universally friendly and quick and that is not the problem. There should be some better alternative way to process the lines keeping it uniform and allowing the next person waiting to move to the next open register.
