Absolutely love this chippy! Chips always well done and lovely!!! Chinese and English meals are both amazing! Whenever I recommend anybody to come here they always enjoy the food from here also! 😊 love the staff they are great! Place is spotless, no wonder they have been here such a long time, my most fave chippy ever! An easy 5 stars for me! 😊😊

First time order after seeing the ques when popping into Tesco. Tasty food enjoyed by all. Even better that the food wasn't swimming in grease/oil. Will definitely be our goto Chinese takeaway going forward. The two girls serving were very friendly. The price seems fairly reasonable too 👍

Got to be the best chip on the Wirral, everything we get from here is cooked to perfection and always tastes great! We probably visit a bit too often! Highly recommended.

Can’t speak highly enough about this Chippy, super friendly and accommodating staff with my wife needing gluten free food also and the food is allways piping hot and delicious every time, I don’t know how they do it even when they are so very busy. Used them for years snd still super happy with all there meals. If I could give them more stars I would. Thanks Simon snd Ann

Very disappointed with the duck in black bean sauce with green pepper this evening. Lots and lots of green and red peppers, lots and lots of onions with a few tiny morsels of duck fat and fewer morsels of duck. Two stars given for the lovely chips ☹️☹️☹️

The best egg fried rice about! Staff are always lovely and kind and the food is delicious. Always come here for a chippy. Family fave :)

Very long waiting time for the order, the service lost in the confusion, the food was very bad for us. We went there because we were recommended this place, but it was a big disappointment. We reiterate our opinion that the food served by a competitive bar in the vicinity is much better. We will never go back there.

Always lovely food and great service.

Always value for money with excellent food and they don't skimp on their portion size. During covid they have installed a great system where you phone in your order and then phone when you are outside to collect your food, they have done more than most other takeaways to ensure social distancing is encouraged and implemented. As covid regulations have been lifted, Eastern Delight still have the plexiglass between the counter/staff and customers. Customers can enter the premises now it is your responsibility to ensure that you try and still have room for yourself and other's. I still prefer to call my food order in ahead of time and wait in the car outside until it is ready, this takes into account how busy the staff are preparing meals and keeps me safe as I can't be vaccinated. The food is more than 5* as the staff go above and beyond for their customers. I have been going to Eastern Delight on Borough Road since it opened and I have eaten from other outlets but they don't hold a light to Eastern Delight.
