No one cares about your health, I never had a visit from a real doctor, staff on the phone is rude and unprofessional. I had baby and now I have high blood pressure. They just once checked my blood pressure from a nurse. No one visit me properly, and a doctor by phone prescribed a medication without visit me. The medication makes me sick. I been to the hospital because my blood pressure was really high and they send a letter to the practice but no one called me to get an appointment or change medication. Really bad

I signed up for this clinic when I moved months ago and until now I couldn't meet the GP! when I went to the reception I asked them to make an appointment for me because I don't speak English and I have hearing problems and I can't call, and They didn't care and kept telling me I had to call them! I am really frustrated and shocked, There are supposed to be exceptions it is very easy.I just need to meet GP, I don’t know what difference is between call or making an appointment through reception, and You are supposed to have an email, so that it is easy for us to contact you when necessary. Or provide an online booking service for those who want to do so

Would give 0 if I could, staff at the reception answering phone really should consider going for another job. Completely unprofessional and rude. Would help if they at least knew what their doing, but no. Had zero help, just wasted time.

My parents are both patients at this surgery and I am absolutely disgusted at what I am being told. I have been told that the system you operate is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Patients are asked to phone up at 8am to gain an appointment. This is impossible as most times you are unable to get through for a good half an hour and by that time, guess what?, all appointments have gone. You have then got to try and call back at 1pm and the same problem occurs again. Plus they are told that they can never book any advanced appointments. FOR HEAVENS SAKE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD SYSTEM AS IS WORKED FINE. Please sort this mess out before someone who needs to be seen gives up trying and is taken seriously ill. Please don't reply telling me to leave a comment on your website as you just need to change your system.

Utterly useless, prescription was not sent over when promised and you have to call them at 7 am to be able to talk to someone. Instead of wasting your time replying to this review telling me to fill in some bs form on your website, fix this place and hire competant staff

the only thing is completely letting this place down is the lad on reception not dressed correctly for a reception especially for a doctor's surgery in hoody leaning back in the chair legs crossed like he in high school it's coming across as he not bothered it's completely unprofessional. Best advice get staff uniform for reception staff it's spose to be a professional place.

In my limited experience it was exactly what I needed. I had a health problem, I initially followed up online NHS advice. This worked for a while until it didn't. I did e-consult with plenty of details, got appointment next afternoon. The GP I saw was very professional and to the point. I really don't get why is the 3 stars overall rating for. This is a physical health clinic. It's not for people to evaluate the receptionist clothes or to evaluate why a problem wasn't solved when someone just wanted it their way. It's simple, call in the morning to get a same day appointment but this might not work for everyone, in that case log an e-consult which is massively easy. I moved newly to the area. Registeration was easily done online. E-consult was very effective and appointment was given quickly and efficiently when needed. Bad reviewers need to stop projecting their life problems in form of a bad review for a really good GP surgery. Also, it's nice to search your problem on NHS website first to know how to direct your GP to the point of concern since they don't have all the time in the world. Here you go, you made write a review which is not something I normally do.

While the GPS and nurses are amazing some of the women at reception are exceptionally rude. I understand that they probably have to deal with so much, but as a patient who attends for the GPs excellent mental health help, the receptionists are almost panic attack inducing. From the get go, they don’t understand how to get a patient’s attention without sounding annoyed or a being respectful. I know that not everyone suffers from sensory issues or hearing difficulties but I’d think the receptionists would understand they actually need to make an attempt. Following on, they make it hard to communicate with them and are impatient.

I’ve recently registered at this practice and I can honestly say I wish I had done it sooner- it’s a vast improvement on my previous practice- the receptionists were polite and helpful- the doctor was very professional and I genuinely felt I was being listened to, understood and helped.

I can honestly say that mostly I think this is an excellent practice. The place is always clean, plenty of parking space and the building is inviting. The reception staff are all very helpful and friendly, they are polite and always understanding of what one may be experiencing. It is challenging to get across at 8am to book an appointment, however, the e-consult is very useful and addresses most concerns. GPs almost always reply to them on the day or the next day at the latest. If you need an urgent appointment for the day, like when we needed one for our little boy, it has always been available. For non-urgent needs the wait is a bit longer, often we were able to get an appointment within 2 or 3 days while once or twice we needed to wait nearly a week but you can try calling in at 8am for a same day appointment especially if symptoms get worse. The GPs are extremely professional, they always serve with a smile, they listen to your concerns and trust in what you have to say. They never act as if they know more than you do because they are the professional, instead they are respectful, compassionate and understanding. However, sadly we give a 3 star because the Nursing staff are nowhere near as approachable as the GPs. Nearly every appointment we have had with a nurse, we were somewhat belittled and made to feel that we do not know what we are talking about. They have not believed us when saying something doesn't work for instance. This is very frustrating because our voice is then not heard and they simply do what they want without discussing with us (unlike the GPs that fully discuss options with us). We have even been told that we would not understand options as we are 'only' the public and not a nurse (even though we are health care professionals ourselves). So it is very frustrating to attend an appointment, wanting care, kindness and compassion but instead experiencing the above and leaving the clinic with an angoing ailment and dismay, frustration and disappointment on top of it all. We understand that everyone is overworked but the patient should remain at the heart of everything and should be listened to just like the GPs and receptionists do.

I've been coming to the Dr's for the last couple of months with breathing issues. The receptionists have been kind and helpful. The two Dr's I have seen Dr Heane and Dr Armstrong have been absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't change my Dr's while they are there.

What a waste of day. Went to the walk in clinic this monring and waited near 2 hours too be seen which is expected anyway. The doctor described medicine to collect at any pharmacy. And after visiting and calling over 10 pharmacies nearby, to then find out what had been prescribed has been discontinued. I called the walk in back up and was told to come back. So after another hour of waiting to see someone to discuss another medicine, was told that there isnt a substitute and they couldn't change the prescription due to being no alternative and was told to try something else to see if that works. Not happy

If you ring from 8am it takes a few attempts to get through but I can’t remember never getting an appointment. The E-Consult is excellent. Send in an email , can attach photos and, in my experience, you get a response less than 24hours later. Only negative is you can’t be given a Doctor so have to see anyone who’s free.

Great service again from the team here. Dr O'Hagan was fantastic. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Great care again today (May 2023), called today at 8am, appointment at 9am and seen by a great GP registrar. She was thorough and kind as have all the other clinicians I have seen in the last 5 years.

I didn't have the best experiences with Brownlow before, but I was sent to this specific branch two months ago for a phlebotomy and it was quite good. The receptionists were kind and and the nurse that drew the blood for me respected the fact that I have genuine needle phobia so did her best to make me feel comfortable and didn't hurt me at all (I have had bad experiences with blood tests in various centres in Liverpool and this was one of the best experiences). Their service is also very timely and quick, as my whole visit lasted nine (9) minutes.

0 respect over the phone no one knows what the other is doing, the receptionists there really need not be so unprofessional. Were very rude after an appointment mix up on their end.

Phone was put down twice in the middle of sentences. And I was put back into the queue, "pretending don't hear me", when I say my Dob, but heard everything perfectly when asked about GP. Or not picking the phone at all

You get taken seriously and the staff are very friendly and act professional, the only thing that is awkward is if you want to see a doctor you have to call the practice at 8am-11am and you get through if your lucky enough to.

😠 To give an honest review. It’s actually a bit of a shame they are so poor at what they do as I think if they ironed a few (serious) issues out they could actually be a decent private test provider. 😠 I’ve changed my previous rating to one star since they removed the e-consult option. At least back then you could fill a form for non-urgent enquiries and wait 24-48 hours. Worked amazingly well.
