    Ordered a mc chicken sandwich meal for my daughter at 20:23pm 15/2/23 hrs on drive thru service. The staff were chatting about show no interest at work. My Daugther got home and open the bag, the chicken sandwich has no chicken on it, just the lettuce and mayo! What a waste of time! Never bother going there again. 😢 Mid number: xx18192

    Good set up. Staff on drive through were cheerful and quick. Queues fairly large at Saturday lunch peak hour but moved quite quickly.

    Went last night. McCrispy was awful and as you can see there wasn’t much care put into making it. My sons food was cold and the fries had been place inside the bag upside down. Avoid this place as it’s rubbish. We collected our food, live less than 5 minutes away but wasn’t going back as it wouldn’t have helped.

    Got served by a nice lad called callum, he really catered to my needs and went the extra mile for everything that I need and as we got speaking as well he was a new member of staff. Great service, great classic mcdonalds grub, would go again!

    Come here regularly due to commuting Probably the best McDonald’s I’ve been to Drive thru- no messing about, in and out Staff- so friendly and hardworking Food- yes it’s fast food, but always is hot & actually decent 5*

    We go to this Maccies instead of the other one up the road because you always get hot food here. It always taste better and looks better too and they forget less items. Upton never get a full order right, we've never had an issue here.

    Ordered Uber eats on the app on 16th April, and food was delivered an hour and a half late stone cold and unedible. Uber eats said they would refund the cost. I never got a refund, just fobbed me off and a waste of my time, so I would never order through Uber eats with this McDonald's ever again there a complete joke and the management need to sort these issues out allowing food to leave the restaurant cold is unacceptable. So if you order from this restaurant, please check your food before you leave as some of the staff seem to have magic in their heads and dont pay attention to what they are doing ....

    Music is so loud here I'm sure the 18 year old staff think it's a night club. Absolutely awful atmosphere. Staff are rude. Mcfurrys only half full. Half am order arrived at the table. Foid tastes weird here. Can't stand macdonalds. Only came foe the kids. Defford burger King in future

    This has to be the worst McDonald's I've ever been to... There is no nice way of putting this but the staff are dim. The majority of them are dim. Every single time we've been they have messed up orders. Want a coke? Here, have a vegan coffee instead... Chicken mayo? Have a quarter pounder instead... They also charge you for THEIR mistakes. They do not rectify them, they don't like to do any customisations and have been pretty rude about it. I worked in McDonald's when I was younger so I understand what it is like to work there. This is just laziness.

    Very time we order from this McDonald’s there are either no sauces, food missing or the customisations on any items aren’t met, sometimes all of the above. I have to call the restaurant every time I order to make sure they get it right and they still manage to get it wrong, for what your paying they should at least read the screen right.

    Place is great but service is not. Drive through seems to take a massive priority over dine in orders. Wait is far too long. See cars arrive after I've ordered and leave with food before I've recieved mine.

    I was ignored at the drive through today. The other side of the drive through let 5 other cars go before me - another customer had to tell them there were customers waiting! Even then apparently it was MY fault for not setting off the sensor with my car?!? No apology & then I was sent off to wait in bay parking for my order. It finally arrived - minus the coffee I’d ordered & paid for. When a member of staff came to enquire why I was still waiting he just said - what do you want then? No apology, no customer service skills - absolutely shocking experience. I don’t blame the staff on the counter - the so-called management need to get a grip.

    Ordered a McDelivery - it arrived missing 2 items and one wasn't customised. This isn't the first time this has happened. So basically paid £3.99 for delivery for a burger and fries. Unbelievable. How on earth can you consistently get so many orders wrong? It doesn't make sense. Can someone please look at the receipt and then what's inside the bag and confirm they're 100% correct because clearly this isn't happening.

    Nice size car park with 5 click and collect points, relatively new build with little play area for kids (not open yet) service can be slow in morning and later on but overall good experience at this macdonalds. Hot chocolate can be very watery at times but food usually hot and fast service.

    Not happy at all. Ordered 6 meals with 3 coffees as there was 9 of us. We were celebrating our sons birthday we were upstairs. The bday boy found 2 small black hairs in his fries then next minute my daughter was horrified to find a huge long black hair longer than your finger in her fries !! So there was a staff member was just standing by the pay machine thing so I showed her and her face she was gobsmaked and sorted it out. Brought back both fresh meals. After that my son felt very sick and didn't want to eat any more of his burger and fries. First time we have been there and last time never going back

    I normally come from Birkenhead to this McDonald’s because they are always quicker, the food is always hot & staff are very welcoming. Today however, I went at 4.50.. for breakfast on the way home. I said can I order now for breakfast. I got told to wait till 5am on the dot. Bare in mind there was 1 car in the drive through… Went to work at 2.30pm Yesterday. Don’t a 14 hour day just wanted to order.. got told to come back at 5am on the dot

    Ordered through their app and when we received it, half of it was missing. Not the 1st time the order has been wrong. We went to the restaurant to complain, they gave us the missing items but wouldn't replace the now stone cold burgers and fries

    Had to write a review, currently in the que! 8/7/23 7:46am! Staff members in drive in only serving one side of the drive in que then come on the speaker to say ill be with you in the minuite, there was no one in the que she was serving, after telling us she will be with us someone pulled up in the next que. The girl then served that customer and left us waiting again, absolutely no need for it! Wont be coming back

    I got my ordered delivered via uber and 1 of the drivers left a big with half our order so I contacted McDonald's and 2 lovely girls went above and beyond to help us get our missing order they made it fresh for us and had it redelivered such lovely helpful girls thank you so much Aimee and Courtney you're lovely girls you've made my sons day now, thank you for the lovely note aswel girls xx

    New build McDonald's, nice and clean. Table service was really fast and staff were pleasant. Small activities for kids provided so kept them busy while we waited.

    Prenton McD's is the one to go to. Staff friendly, quick even when busy. Even when they ask you to park round the front, the food usually arrives moment's after. Food usually tastes freshly cooked. Other advice. Stay far away from Upton McD's. Got to be the worst I've ever used

    Must try harder , poor food, fries dumped in a bag, mcflurry order wrong , disappointing after a long drive home for a quick bite,I doubt even McDonald's will even reply to this. I'd give less rating but this location have been much better in the past even at this time of the day.

    We came on a very busy Saturday lunch time. The drive through queue was huge and there was nowhere to park. However staff were friendly enough and service was quick. When we got home our food was mostly cold which was a little disappointing and the large chips carton from my meal were only half full. But cheap and cheerful. We didn’t go in so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. I have said we will visit again to the kids as my littlest wants to go explore the outdoor play area.

    drivethrough ...typically they got the order wrong, food was cold , fries tasted like refried cardboard, tell myself everytime I go there I won't go back, only time they get things right is when you go into the building to order. food is poor, service is bloody awful, maccrap should be called not Macdonalds. never again

    Rude and arrogant, lazy staff who keep you waiting at both the drive through when they eventually answer & ask you to park up to receive cold & incorrect food. Superfluous managers who back up & believe the staff over the paying customers at all costs when you try to complain.

    Delivery drivers parked in disabled bays stood next to pathway smoking, cloud of vape smoke from kids sat by the entrance door. No sugar/ condiments/ serviettes accessable. Muffin was good tho , nice n greasy.

    I made an order for a delivery and waited over an hour for them to deliver just to get a text message saying my order had been cancelled and a refund is on the way. I now have to wait 2-14 business days for my money back. Absolute joke.

    Clean good site but terrible service. I ordered on app and went in to collect. I stood for 18 minutes waiting with my order number on the screen saying being prepared. In that time I counted 24 card going through the drive thru. The only reason I was eventually served was because someone who's order was after mine in the queue asked staff if they were bothering with customers insider the restaurant. The fact they can offer customers stood in view for so long and not serve their food is shocking

    Went through drive through for a coke and milkshake. Milkshake was spilt all down the side of cup as it had been overfilled. Not ideal when you in a car trying not to make a mess. Other than that Quick service with no large queues

    Mobile app wouldn't work again! Even the staff couldn't sort it out but, the staff were very willing and lovely. In the end one girl managed to put my order through the till using the QR code so that I didn't lose my points but, had to repeat the order again. Fries were nice and hot but, the rest of our order was cold!

    The only nice thing about this place is it looks fairly new, staff look like they are ready to play with the traffic on the motor way, such a shame as the age of the manager is about 20. Think all the staff here need to do some customer service training. Place is dead yet there is still tables with rubbish on them. Staff seem to see this as a youth club rather than a place of work. Wouldn’t return

    Ridiculous company I work for the ambulance service me and my crew mate come in on are 30 min break to get dinner waited 27 minutes to be told are meals have disappeared and need making again at this point are break is now over and no food was give absolute jokes used the service because its supposed to be fast service.     Poor customer service and average food. The drive through isn't always open, when it is the queues are long and sometimes they aren't doing food late at night. It's worth driving the extra 5 minutes to Upton where the food and staff are better.

    We have visited here on several occasions but will never visit again due to obnoxious staff a female in particular on the drive thru ordering on Friday 9th September @ 14.30 we pulled and awaited correspondence in the meantime 3 cars in the other queue ordered and proceeded to the window to pay so I asked if anyone was taking orders only to be told abruptly to wait she had two jobs to do Well I m very sorry but that’s not my fault all this staff member needed to do was say hello I ll be with shortly which is what happens all the time but for 3 cars to proceed to first window and for us to be left hanging is disgusting and then to be so rude to a paying customer whatever happened to customer services

    Huge thank you to Maccies - My 12 year old lad decided to go on a bike adventure but got lost and then it was getting dark. He knew how to get to McDonalds and they were lovely with him. Securing his bike, giving him food and calling the police (as he was flustered). All safely back home and 🙏 much appreciated.

    Well, I arrived at the drive through, was first at order machine, about 6 cars already in the line waiting to pay, voice says ill be with you in 1 minute, 6 mins later im still sitting there while all the cars behind are now in the next queue and being served, so drive to the payment window and told them, no apology just what do you want! Placed order for a coffee, and paid, when to collection and was told again to wait and 3rd window, now another 4 mins waiting, then the manager Callum proceeded to lecture me on not waiting at the order machine and refused to give me my coffee, so I said I'd like the money refunded to my card, again left there waiting until and older woman then proceeds to tell me im rude and childish for jumping the cue??? Was then presented with a load of change for my refund, told them I'd want it putting back on the card I paid with, by this time Callum was irate and refused to pay the money back whilst being held back by another member of staff. Another older man then asked if he could help and all was remedied, but the shouting and refusing to first not give me my order then also refused to repay me Callum is a very immature manager, and I use that word manager very loosely, this is todays standards in mcdonalds Prenton way and therefore will never visit this site again.

    The worst McDonalds I’ve ever had! The chicken nuggets were cold and like rubber, my hot chocolate was also cold and the Big Mac box was wet and so was the bottom bun. Asked for sauce and was told it was in the bag, it wasn’t. Absolutely disgusting! I’d driven 5 mins away to home so it should not have been in this state.
