BEWARE
of
ordering
any
meals
thru
GrubHub
on
holidays!
I
had
to
get
our
Thanksgiving
dinners
delivered
because
I
fractured
my
femur,
and
neither
I
nor
my
husband
can
drive.
BUT
I
made
the
mistake
of
calling
GrubHub.
I
called
3
hours
ahead
of
the
requested
time.
A
couple
hours
after
placing
the
order,
GrubHub
canceled
it.
When
I
called,
they
said
Village
Inn
did
not
"confirm"
the
order,
so
I
called
the
restaurant
back.
I
was
told
that
NO
restaurant
confirms
any
orders.
I
called
GrubHub
back.
Now
I'm
being
told
how
very
sorry
they
were
for
the
inconvenience,
and
their
excuse
now
is
that
the
restaurant
was
having
technical
issues.
I
insisted
on
speaking
to
a
manager
who
gave
me
a
$25
credit
and
actually
told
me
to
reorder
knowing
damn
well
it
was
also
going
to
be
canceled
by
GrubHub...
and
it
was.
I
called
and
spoke
to
another
manager
who
put
me
on
hold,
supposedly
calling
the
restaurant.
NOT!
I
had
to
call
Village
Inn
back
because
I
had
prepaid
for
a
pie.
The
mgr
said
it
was
because
they
did
not
have
enough
drivers,
so
they
are
canceling
orders
left
and
right!
LIERS!
😡🤬😡
I
started
crying
when
I
realized
we
weren't
getting
a
thxgiving
dinner.
By
this
time,
the
other
2
delivery
services
were
not
taking
any
more
orders.
The
manager
of
the
restaurant
was
so
kind
that
he
ended
up
delivering
the
meals
himself
AFTER
they
closed,
along
with
a
French
silk
pie!
Oh,
when
I
gave
them
my
credit
card
number,
he
said
NO,
the
meal
was
on
them.
There
are
still
good
people
left
in
this
world.
GRUBHUB
needs
a
TOTAL
revamping
of
their
service
AND
need
to
be
HONEST
with
their
customers!
