We will never have a procedure done at North Pinellas Surgery center ever again. Totally useless anaesthetist. My wife went in for a colonoscopy in good health and spent the next three days in hospital with Aspiration pneumonitis. She came round from the procedure unable to get her breath, tightness in her chest, persistent coughing and a very low oxygen count due to fluid entering her lungs. Apparently it is a rare complication from anaesthesia and we understand that. What was totally unacceptable was the stunning incompetence and apathy displayed by the anaesthetist in managing the situation. She advised us we could either go home with antibiotics or visit a walk in clinic and that we should do "whatever we felt comfortable with." We had absolutely no idea how serious the situation was. We decided to go to the ER at Morton Plant where my wife was immediately admitted and placed on oxygen, a heart monitor and intravenous antibiotics with the doctor expressing surprise that we had not arrived by ambulance. In our non medical opinion this anaesthetist, a doctor, not a nurse, is totally unfit to oversee sedation practices and why the Surgery Center would employ such a person in such a responsible position is a complete mystery to us.

Had a colonoscopy done only and made sure the procedure and surgery center was covered by my insurance United Healthcare. I got a surprise when I got a bill for $2400 because they used a out of network anesthesiologist. I called there office and they quickly wanted to put me on a payment plan. I refused. Lucky there is a no surprise law. I got on the state website and filed a complaint, then called the surgery center and informed them I had filed. The following week I got a new bill for $240. It’s a racket.

I had a great experience having my endoscopy and colonoscopy. I was nervous but the staff was very nice and comforting. Thankfully the procedures went well and I had no issues.

My wife had a procedure done at this facility and we were very pleased with the attentive and caring staff. The place is clean, orderly and welcoming. Everything was great. We appreciate their commitment to providing quality services. Highly recommend.

First pre-op interaction was cold and industrial. The second was worse. Surgery center called me 10 minutes before 5 PM closing the night before to inform me that they were not honoring their written, self-pay quote, attempting to raise my price when i was at my most vulnerable to acquiesce. When however I vehemently objected on ethical grounds, saying that's what a written quote is for, she said she would call me back. Of course, being that they had already chosen money over principle, it was no surprise they faltered and changed their minds once I threatened to not show. However, the damage was already done. I had now been forced to pick a fight with the very people that hours later would have my life in their hands on the surgery table. No way. No more trust for that vulnerability. I cancelled.

If you like being treated like a Ford on an assembly line you'll love this place. Two stars because they didn't kill me, but most assuredly quantity over quality.

A much needed colonoscopy and endoscopy procedure needed for ibs-c and abdominal pain completed very efficiently and professionally at this center. All who were involved, from entering the building to leaving the building were polite, efficient, professional, kind and understanding. Procedures from paperwork to protocol were followed to the letter. As someone who suffers immensely from anxiety, their understanding helped me to make it through. I thank them immensely.

Recently had colon/ endoscopy .. From front desk to back of house I have nothing to say but great staff .. they worked with my hard to get veins .. made an uncomfy situation comfy!!
