It’s amazing Alpine view without the hiking. Can be reached by Car, bus or cycle. You need to pay 8.5€ toll for car entry. The road brings you all the way up to a high plateau. They have many large parking lots for catching views. We parked our car many times to enjoy beautiful view. It’s not too crowded. We drove up and there was a small hut just before the road descends. They serve food and drinks. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and sunset. Highly recommended for best driving experience and cyclists.

I had my doubts in the beginning because of a entrance fee of 8 euro's, but I can highly recommend the trip for the fantastic views of Germany and Austria.

Alpine views without the hiking. EUR8.50 toll for cars. The road brings you all the way up to a high plateau with large parking lots for catching views. We managed to spot the Eagle's Nest and possibly Salzburg on a clear day Enjoy the drive! Not too crowded. We drove it in a clockwise direction and there was a small hut just before the road descends serving food and drinks. Highly recommended for cyclists.

An absolute MUST if you are visiting Berchtesgaden. From the very first view point it’s stunningly beautiful.

In a clear weather you can see really good mountain views. this place is very popular among the road tourers. But you can also visit this place via public transport. you can see good views from the bus too. Once you're on the top (last stop on the bus line 848)You can spend your time there enjoying the views.

A great way to spend some time in the alps. Avoid the Eagles Nest crowds and see the same sites. Lots of fun very short side hikes. If you start on the south end, the ice cream places are at the end, which is fun. Some people were flying drones a little aggressively which was noisy and distracting. They should prohibit them in this park.

This is a pretty safe experience when it comes to mountain passes. It's open around the year with only paid access. So you will have the long winding roads all to yourself depending on the season you are visiting. It's not a closed loop so you can turn back around and go back if you wish to enjoy the other direction of the road. You have some pretty amazing vistas with some places to sit in between so if you brought a picnic you can make a day out of it. This isn't exactly a thrill ride but quite enjoyable. Recommended.

Beautiful road with stunning views. Ticket is 9 eur per car but it's worth it. Lot's of parking spots on the top. Nice walking paths along the road.

The view is amazing. We spent a lovely time. There is a small kiosk where you can enjoy the view with a home made tea and sweets

Lovely little alpine road just outside of Salzburg. Beware of busy streets and lots of bicycles on the way up. Enjoy the view!

Good road surfacing and signposts for car parking. A couple of eating outlets, each with scenic views. Weather poor on the day. Used as a race track from time to time. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful panorama views of snow closed Bavarian alps. The drive, the view upto the top was amazing. If you are in the area then it’s worth visiting this place for sure.

It’s truly worth driving there and paying a little bit more to experience this breathtaking panoramic road. Every now and then it’s possible to park next to the street, get out, take instagramable pictures or just enjoy this breathtaking view. If you’re around, it’s a must do!

Not as nice as I expected, but nice drive anyway. A bit steep price for a regular mountain road (8.50€)

For me, the wow factor/effect is missing. Maybe its better in Winter.. not sure. For €8:50 toll charge, its okay.

It is a must visit place in Berchtesgaden. The entrance ticket is 8 euro for cars. You can drive upto the last point and park there. It is beautiful in every weather.

I can write a review, but it's best to go yourself I think. Entry fee is a bit steep at 8€, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Relish your time and find some unique photo spots
