Both the hostel and the institute are located in Taratala, which is close to the city; near to the institute is IIM. The amenities provided in the hostels are not many but just sufficient enough for a guy to inculcate a feeling of sharing and compassion. The rooms are divided into 10 wings, and each wing with 3 rooms shared between 4-7 roommates. A common mess is provided for the hostel and the quality of food is better than most of other centralized institutions, be it IITs or IIMs. The rigorous training program with the boundaries of the hostel compels cadets to lead a disciplined life.
