I recently visited Park Street metro and found it to be a well-designed and functional station. The station was clean, well-maintained, and had a modern look. The layout was well-organized, with clear signage and color-coded lines, making it easy to navigate. The platform area was spacious, with ample seating and clear announcements for train arrivals and departures. The station also had numerous ticket vending machines, which made purchasing tickets quick and easy. What impressed me the most about this metro station was the accessibility features. There were elevators and ramps provided for people with disabilities, making it easy for them to move around the station. The station also had tactile tiles with raised patterns on the floor, which provided guidance to visually impaired travelers. The station was well-lit, and the security personnel were present, which made me feel safe and secure. The staff was helpful and friendly, always ready to assist passengers with any queries. Overall, I had a great experience at Park Street metro. The station provided a seamless travel experience, and the facilities were well-maintained and accessible, making it an ideal choice for people of all ages and abilities. I would definitely recommend this metro station to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable travel experience.

Heavily traffic in the area so the best option is to travel via metro. If you come for a tour or as a visitor then the visit to the near by churches are a must. The streets are fully lit up during Christmas and new years

Surrounded by restaurants and shops, not offering an exotic price range though. A social and professional hub sees a constant flow of people. Being slightly posh, a relatively nice place to sit by a nice window and look at passersby if you're looking to catch a short break from your own busy life, by yourself or with your friends. Or take a day off for self indulgence, but be warned, only with a bulging wallet. Most restaurants are highly rated and cater to a wide range of customers, so expect to sit on the table opposite to just about anyone. From college kids to wailing babies to a lovestruck young or old couple to an introvert. A unique and lovely experience guaranteed! Hope you enjoy it just as much as i did.

Park Street, officially known as Mother Teresa Sarani, is a famous thoroughfare in downtown Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India. The street runs through what was a deer park of Sir Elijah Impey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Calcutta from 1773 to 1789, hence the earlier name. Its current official name was given by Kolkata Municipal Corporation in honour of Mother Teresa. It's located in central Kolkata. Park Street originates from Chowringhee Road (J L Nehru Road) and connects to Park Circus 7 point crossing in a south eastern direction. The portion of Park Street between Chowringhee Road and Mullick Bazar has been one of the city's attractions for years. Several important roads originate from/intersect at Park Street in the northward and southward directions, namely Russell Street, Middleton Row, Camac Street, Wood Street, Loudon Street and Rawdon Street towards the South and Free School Street, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road towards the North. Park Street also intersects AJC Bose Road at Mullick Bazar crossing and eventually goes to Park Circus from where other major roads such as Syed Amir Ali Avenue, Darga Road, Park Circus Connector starts and connects to important areas such as Ballygunge, EM Bypass and CIT Road. Park Street remains Kolkata's foremost dining district, with many restaurants and pubs. It is often known as "Food Street" and "The Street that Never Sleeps". In the last 15 years, many new restaurants, shopping malls, 5-star hotels and nightclubs have opened in other areas of the city and hence Park Street has lost much of its earlier attraction as being the numero uno entertainment hub of Kolkata. However, it is still one of the prime commercial and entertainment zones of the city. Park Street is traditionally decorated with lights on Diwali, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

Really good for random walks and eat out. You can follow the main road and you can get fast food chains to small restaurants to bigger ones to bar and restaurants and fine dining too. Then there are old heritage sites. Some good old and new cafes where you can read or work on your laptop having a coffee or a shake. You can sit and feel the ancient vibe of cemetery inside on green grass. On 25 of December and 31st do avoid the street if you can't be with a heavy crowd and heavy security. Its celebration time then at night.

Park Street has notable landmarks, showrooms, buildings and cenotaphs and tombs of prominent figures from the British Raj era and European population such as: Asiatic Society, St. Xavier's Collegiate School, St. Xavier's College, Calcutta, Loreto College, Kolkata, St. Thomas Church, Kolkata, Assembly of God Church school, 'Park Plaza' Office, Queen's Mansion, Park Mansions, housing both kolkata Goethe-Institut/Max, Mueller Bhavan Kolkata and Alliance Française du Bengale, The Park Hotel, South Park Street Cemetery, Stephen Court Building, etc. Park Street remains Kolkata's most attractive dining and relaxing street, with many high class restaurants and pubs. The road is well maintained and the footpaths are almost hawker-free. But there are plenty of broken tiles and potholes in both the footpaths. In certain areas the streetlights don't illuminate the footpaths properly and it's risky during evening and night, soecially in the rainy season.

By far one of the busiest stations in all of Kolkata. It brings you right to the center which is good but it is best to avoid it during busy business hours (9am and 6pm) as it can get crazy busy.

Park Street is a very important Metro Station. During office hours the train gets almost empty here. There is water availability but no toilet. Also, I don't know why for the last 1 year they have been keeping the ACs off. It feels very suffocating during rush hours.
