What can you say about this place serving Bengali cuisine. The taste of all the items we ordered were just yum. Plain Steam white rice with Dal/ Fish Paturi/ Luchi/ veg sabzi/ chicken curry / fish Kalia. Out of this world . This place is small but food is very good . We are frequent at this place since it’s situated at a very good location. The parking is good . The Staff are prompt . And any requests is taken care of by them immediately. Situated at the Swimming Pool area of Salt Lake, just beside Gupta Brothers Salt Lake, this branch of Bhojohori Manna is small with hardly 15-20 seats. Food as always, is wonderful Bengali fare. However, my concern with Bengali restaurants overall, is the lack of most of the dishes present in the menu. It is understandable considering that it would be a logistics nightmare and would generate considerable wastage if not consumed. But, during these hot summer months, one wishes for an Aam Dal or a Tomato diye Musur dal instead of regular patent Sona Mug dal or Macher Matha diye dal. We can only dream of a Ilish Kacha Lonka Kalo Jeere diye Patla jhol instead of the Ilish Bhapa or a Prawn Dish that is not a Malaikari.

If you waste your time and money go to this place they have no seating arrangement for more than 30 person at a time. You have to wait for 1 to 2 hour for your turn. Food is prepared some where else they bring it here and sale. Quantity of food in plate decreased as per demand if you are in last batch you may have some item skip or get less in quantity. Food quality doesn't justify the price they are charging. We felt we are having Bengali food out of Bengal in abroad price is too high. Staff have some attitude as they are running the place and we are at their mercy.

It's basically a Bengali restaurant which serves authentic Bengali home style dishes. One of my favorite place in kolkata for dining.. Absolutely love everything in the menu and even the service out there is quite good! Well behaved staff and great environment with the aroma of great food. Hygiene is well Maintained! Properly sanitized. Specially in these times when it's an absolute necessary. recommended! A highly recommended place to visit with friends and family, and even alone(if we are really hungry and looking for good and affordable place to eat). Do try Nolen gur ice-cream if you visit this place! You won't regret.

Resturant is very small. I tried sandesh (sweet) whis is not good. Not selling fresh sweets. It has bad smell . Others food was good. I tried topse fries, vetki cutlet, katla macher kaliya, sukto, alu vaja, posto Bora, misti doi, nolenl gurer ice cream etc. Price is too much high . According to my experience it is one time visit restaurant . My recommendation is vetki cutlet, topse fries, nolen gurer ice cream .

It was our 1st time in this place. It's a very tiny place but that's not an issue. We ordered a thali, pabda and mutton with pulao. All the items including mutton were cold and the quantity as well as quality was not at all up to the mark. I will not recommend this food chain to anyone specifically to those who wants to try bengali food for the 1st time.

Well it's better to share what food we order and ratings will be based on taste, portion etc. Rice- okay like normal restaurants Dal- ok but very overpriced Alu posto-ok Sukto- not good Kochupata chingri- tasted many times before in some other place, but first time experienced itching throat.. All were overpriced and have less portion. Ok only for 1 person.

It was the time of Durga puja, maybe thats the reason for their delayed serving or a bit distaste in their food, but apart from that on normal days their food tastes really good and I would really recommend this place to my non-bengali friends so they can try the awesome dishes they provide.

This place is absolutely not worth the hype. The interior is little dingy, the portion size is ridiculously small. They add sugar to every dish! They also show on swiggy that they offer discount if we pay via the platform, but once the bill comes, they outright deny the whole thing. A legit scam. Would advise everyone to avoid this place.

A nice BANGALI ambience for the Bengali people with all Authentic Bengali Food preparations. Though not served in Bengali dressing like the Peerless Hotel yet taste is usually good. On a short visit to Kolkata, around the airport, asked around for authentic Bangla food, and God bless the person who suggested this. Yummm snacks and food. Don't be fooled by the size of the space. Going back there again, if I get a chance. Seen in the pictures are devil's egg, chicken kosha. Loved the mutton dakbangla, rice, dal, and the complimentary potato fry!

One of the best food experiences I have ever had in my life. So much variety, especially if you like Bengali food and fish especially. Even the chicken curry was awesome and I don't have words for the Rajbhog made in Nolan Gur (palm jaggery). It was simply out of this world. I will cherish the taste and the memories forever.

Its pretty good enough to enjoy Bengali delicacies, although not completely authentic but ya will give good feel of Bengali Cuisine. We ordered a thali, Chingri Malai curry which was delicious but the prawns was more of shell and less of meat. Kosha chicken with polau was also tasty. But the fish patudi was highly mustardy which turned the dish bitter. Thali was good with vegetables being extra sweetened. The space of the hotel is small, not that clean hence not so ambient. But service was very good. But anyhow it is recommended by me to visit once.

Authentic bengali food but worth if you're staying outside bengal

I was short of time ,but was craving for bengali cuisine. I simply love bengali thali a mix of veg and non veg. Bhetki dishes are to die for. Kosha mangsho yumm, and I can go on and on.
