If I could give this place 6 out of 5 then I would. We went for a company celebration with 12 people and sat at the chefs table, which is basically in the kitchen. We got to watch the geniuses at work preparing the most amazing food that has ever passed my lips. I can't remember what everything was, I think the taste might have temporarily reset my brain, but it was incredible. We had about 8 courses and for each one the chef came to our table to describe what we were going to get, where it came from, how it had been prepared and the minute detail of the flavours. If you have something to celebrate and you need to find THE BEST place to dine then you can't go far wrong with The Berkeley.

This hotel was AMAZING! The service, the food the facilities were all fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Was literally treated like such an important person. 100% I would recommend staying here. I had a slight issue where I couldn't get the bath plug to work-within 5 mins of reporting it, it was fixed. The food was honestly the best food ever. And my coffee even came with a lady on it. I also had a cheese board from room service. I had to leave a note on it asking them not to take it when I wasn't there as I couldn't eat it all. The roof top pool was one of the best things I have seen in a long time. Even though it wasn't a sunny morning, the pool is heated! My massage at the spa was perfect. Thanks for the best time!

Afternoon Tea with my husband on the 21/3/2022 - Monday. Was super impressed with their amazing, top-notch customer service. Thanks to the servers with their attentive, courteous, well- explained, of their afternoon tea cake's theme. I am definitely going back with my friends on the 18/5/2022. Highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Breakfast area is charming, very tidy and pleasant. The quality of breakfast is normal, not impressive as expected. The rooms need face-lifting and also the corridors. The location is excellent and there are many parking options around the hotel. Hyde Park is just across the road. Harrods is a short walk distance.

I did not actually stay here, walking passed and needed to use the facilities. But as a member of the public the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying (hopefully for my birthday!) and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about staying, as the lobby was warm and inviting. And the facilities were very clean and tidy. In addition to this, they have very beautiful lights outside the front this adds a magical feeling to the place!

The people who serve you in the afternoon tea are very kind and all of their food are halal for the people who are Muslim. The servants are very welcoming even if you are from another religion. Amazing. Their afternoon tea is immaculate. I have nothing bad to say about this beautiful place.

Always good. One of my favourite hotels. And have just thoroughly enjoyed one of the best Indian dishes I have tasted anywhere in the world. It was beyond superb.

Incredible luxurious place with love for the little details nobody usually thinks about. We had a great time. Extremely high class but still easy going atmosphere. Thank you.

Was a surprise birthday treat. The welcome and politeness of the staff started as soon as we got out of the taxi. Which continued until we got back into a taxi to leave. The afternoon tea was divine, accompanied by a glass of pink bubbly and a never-ending pot of Jasmine flower tea. A tad pricey, but it was a birthday treat. The whole experience was lovely. Would recommend as a treat.

I had an incredible stay at the Berkeley hotel in London! Everything about this place deserves a five-star rating. First of all, the location is fantastic, making it convenient to explore the city's attractions. The room was not only comfortable but also had a modern touch that added to the overall experience. The service provided by the staff was top-notch. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. A delightful surprise was the daily delivery of fresh treats, fruit, and snacks. It truly made us feel pampered and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. I highly recommend the Berkeley hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in London. You won't be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Berkley Hotel in London recently, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked into the elegant lobby, I was met with warm and attentive service that set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my visit. The beautifully appointed room was a haven of comfort and sophistication, with luxurious furnishings and stunning views of the city. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

This was our second afternoon tea at The Berkeley, and it was much anticipated. Whilst it was absolutely beautiful, we were a little disappointed. The service was not as good on this visit, and we were left for long periods of time, up to 20 minutes, without service, and having no tea or cold tea. This took the shine off the experience.

Amazing afternoon tea! They made sure everything was halal for us. The sandwiches and savouries were delicious, as were the desserts although we couldn’t finish them because we had also ordered scones. The scones were fresh and warm and turned out to be complimentary. Service was great and such a large selection of teas. Tea was regularly being refilled and sandwiches being replaced. We particularly enjoyed the festive turkey and cranberry sandwich. Great experience and will definitely visit again!

Grace was gracious and hospitable. Very pleasant person. Great venue, and the presentation was impeccable. The desserts were stunning pieces of art. Sandwiches were 😋. Too full at the end of the experience. We researched the best afternoon tea in London. This was amongst the best. A worthy title. Plus Grolet is down the hallway. Perfect.

My best friend treated me to the pret-a-portea afternoon tea - we spent a lovely afternoon chatting, drinking champagne, eating the most delicious sandwiches (seconds are available) and the crowning glory fashion themed cakes. The experience was made all the more enjoyable by the polite and attentive staff who took the time to explain the theme and to chat with - all the time making sure we had everything we needed - a truly lovely afternoon and one i would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone

The Eco-Friendly Forest Retreat was a sanctuary for nature lovers and sustainability enthusiasts. Surrounded by the beauty of the forest, it provided a harmonious escape. Our lodge room was cozy, and the eco-friendly amenities were a testament to responsible living. The lodge staff were passionate about conservation and provided valuable insights for exploring the local ecosystem. This is a place where nature's rhythms guide your stay.

Stayed here with my family for 6 nights. Excellent, detail-oriented service on par with the best hotels in the world. Nice mix of guests - there were both other families here as well as people in town for business. The staff did an excellent job of taking care of my family’s needs and anticipating what we might need next. The adjoining rooms were great because there was sufficient privacy between rooms that the kids had their own space while my wife and I were able to enjoy some quiet as well.

I have stayed 3 nights, one of the best hotels in London, I asked for a room facing the front of the hotel to avoid any noise. And I was surprised that my balcony facing worker and I wake up everyday early because the windows dont have a good isolation, Also when i check out there was a service charge on everyday I stayed that no one told when i checked. For what reason I have no idea. As I took the one night by 1050£ I don’t think that there should be extra charges. I was really upset but I was on hurry to catch my flight, But I don’t think I will be back at this hotel unless I got a very special rate as a remuneration.

UPDATE: I have upgraded this review from one to two stars as I have since received a full refund, which is very much appreciated. This review is concerning the Bamford Wellness Spa only: Uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I booked the 90 minute signature facial and didn't receive most of the services described on their website, which for £200 is outrageous. The description says you receive a foot bath and that the back massage involves hot stones. Neither of these things happened for some reason. Also you would think for a facial that the service provider would discuss your skincare routine as well as skin concerns and goals with you. According to the website, you will receive a "complete skincare consultation". Nope. I did try to engage her in this discussion, but she didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I mentioned I use actives in my skincare and whether or not the ingredients would conflict with the products she was going to use, but she had no idea what I was saying. I also explained that this was my first facial so you would think she would do you the courtesy of explaining that blackhead extraction is really painful! My eyes watered during the procedure and I told her it was hurting me, but she just laughed and carried on. I also wish I had been told in advance that this was a procedure they were going to perform because in retrospect, I think it was completely unnecessary! Also the noise!!! So bizarre that a spa would be such a stressful environment to be in! They put me in a room where there were construction works outside so all I could hear was crashing and banging throughout my entire session. Why not put me in another room or suggest I come in another day? Not to mention the near constant chatter at the reception area, which you can hear whilst you're waiting to be seen. Nothing about the experience was relaxing at all. "The result is a truly personalised treatment". I think not. The only thing I actually did enjoy was the 30 minute head massage, although for £85 I can confidently say I was ripped off. £285 for this kind of service is unbelievable. I won't be coming here again.

The food at the bishop was delicious and overall service was good. I had the Rabbit and Prawn pie special, and it was delicious. While the bishop is in an external structure, it is warm but bring a few layers just in case. They offer blankets but overall, the heaters do a good job. There must have been a slight mix-up with our dishes between courses - but the primary host sorted it all and rectified the situation.

Had such a lovely stay at this hotel—room, amenities, food, attention to detail, and staff were all incredible. Breakfast at the Collins Room was always so enjoyable (pastries are the best), and afternoon tea is a must here!

Really enjoyed the tasting menu at the Marcus restaurant in the Berkeley hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was divine. It had an intimate dining area and the waiting staff created theatre with the way they presented food. Really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. They also present you with a cake for your birthday too.

I needed a night away from home and my stay was just perfect. Staff couldn't do enough for me, the room and its location were perfect, pool, and spa too. I will most definitely be back

Customer Service is everything . Firstly I want to say how nice the hotel now looks. I started staying here pre-covid . Then you get the big egos because they are becoming big we know how the new hotels go as we are travelers. I needed an extra night the front desk.asked the manager if we can have the same room.fir that price they gave us somebody how we were upgraded to the room and we got it forv1300 and now it's 1500 . So my husband asked why would the superior regular room before our flights were cancelled. Anyway to make along story short you can have 14 carat gold toilet seats if the service is bad we won't send our colleagues here . I should have returned to The Four Seasons tried it the first time on park lane and I love it .you don't need to.twll guests vecause they booked through booking .com why are you on there if you are conscending to clients that is. I don't understand for the life of me if customer are paying 1200and more for a room what's the attitude obviously not a money issue staff needto.stop talking down to guest we don't have to.stay there .

Didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms, however we went in on Sunday for some cocktails. Bar is gorgeous, staff were excellent and it is the best Bloody Mary I've had! Definitely worth a visit.

Exceptional facility and service. The major renovations are seamless yet very enhancing. The new roof top pool is a great feature. Antonio in the Collins Room is #1, amazing server. Angela at reception was also great. No complaints whatsoever.

This is a lovely bakery within the hotel with a small selection of french pastries and tarts. Everything looks perfect and delicious but taste doesn’t match the look. One of those places to try but difficult to come back for seconds.

I am a local resident and have not visited in quite sometime. I went last night and was reminded of how good this hotel is. The door man was very helpful and mannerly. The staff in the bar area were very welcoming and attentive. This hotel goes the extra mile from the ipad layout to the little cards you get with your cocktails. It’s details things like this that make the hotel stand out and non generic. The lady serving us was knowledgeable and had an extremely polite manner. Will begin to frequent more often now things have been returning to normal socially.
