One of the best resorts in Mahabalipuram. Stay was so pleasant and the food was just awesome in the Latitude 49 restaurant. Great Breakfast as well, wide spread of buffet menu. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. Kid friendly as it has a small park inside, To access beach we need to take the buggy service in the resort and it is so clean and always a guard stands for security. Pool is maintained well with a life guard all the time.

Was a good place to stay. I was there for 2 days and 1 night for business. Everything in general were good. Clean and large rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. And since I cannot tolerate spices, the head chef came to me and made sure that I get a special meal for the 2 lunches and one dinner I had. It was really good. The conference rooms were a bit too cold. Air conditioning was to much. I think they can save energy and money by turning the airconditioner a bit down. The area was very beautiful. Both in the resort and in the surroundings. And the pool in the middle of the courtyard was great.

We visited this resort with friends after watching the property pics on their website and MakeMyTrip. Thier prices/rates are similar to a 4 star resort and the picture on the website are misleading. This resort is more suited for events and banquet and not ideal for family stay. Firstly the resort is not beach facing. It is divided into 2 property, one where they have rooms with pool and then they take you to another property a few hundred metres away which has a Beachfront . The beach front property comes with limitations as they don't serve any food or drinks there. The manager in the property is very rude and instead of accomodating guest request straight forward denies is without any justification. The rooms need some maintenance and the furniture has got old. In short, the resort is not what is advertises and surely not worth the rates they charge.

Had been there for a company even, place is good, neat, clean. Food was good too. Staff is very courteous. I would recommend this property to stay in mahabalipuram.

This review is mainly for the resturant part of the hotel , food is absolutely excellent , best among all the major hotels pesent in its vicinity. Specially they prepare really nice JAIN FOOD.

We had planned this trip with my family and friends. It was an amazing experience very nice calm, quiet and well maintained resort. Mr. Shameer helped us to get a room - Grande Studio rooms. The room was spacious and well maintained & clean. The hospitality of the reception staff and the restaurant staff was very welcoming and amazing with the ever smiling faces especially restaurant staff Ms Pooja K and Ms Pooja M. The chef took an extra effort to make sure our specifications for the dishes were done perfectly. My 3yr old son was hungry & was asking for a glass of milk. It was past 11pm, though the restaurant closes at 10 pm, the staff were kind enough to provide us milk on request without any hesitation. Much appreciation to the restaurant staff. All the security guards were kind and very helpful. Beach access was through a buggy service and the beach was a great experience. The pool was well maintained and a life guard was there throughout. High tea which is served in the evening with snacks in the open area with cool breeze around a major highlight. Overall AMAZING AND KUDOS TO THE GRANDE BAY RESORT TEAM!!!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the entire resort right from gardens to the rooms. The staff were all polite and service was excellent. It was a good relaxing experience.

Lovely place! Well maintained. It's quite small so it's quiet too. Would definitely recommend visiting late July. There's a sort of private beach within 500 meters of the rooms. They've got lawn chairs, volleyball nets there. Rooms themselves are spacious (two floors!) and comfortable. Lunch is not worth the price, breakfast was good. Many other restaurants nearby, it's close to the historical monuments as well. There's a well maintained pool and more lawn chairs there!
