The
room
was
very
nice.
It
was
new,
modern,
big,
and
comfortable
(although
it
was
described
as
having
a
balcony,
which
it
really
didn't
have).
The
shower
was
also
good.
The
location
can
be
tricky,
at
least
for
us.
On
the
one
hand,
it
is
a
wealthy
part
of
town
and
feels
safe,
even
after
dark.
It
is
also
just
near
a
nice
small
urban
park.
On
the
other
hand,
it
is
not
right
at
Zone
T
and
it
is
quite
far
from
the
tourist
areas
(the
old
city
and
areas
with
the
top
restaurants).
Bogota
has
really
bad
traffic
and
there
is
relatively
few
taxis
near
the
hotel,
so
getting
anywhere
took
us
a
lot
of
time.
The
staff
of
the
hotel
is
a
hit
or
miss.
In
our
experience,
the
morning
shift
people
were
very
helpful.
The
afternoon-night
shift,
so
so.
They
were
polite
but
not
too
excited
to
help.
For
example,
when
we
checked
in
we
only
got
one
key,
and
you
need
a
key
for
everything
in
this
hotel
(using
the
elevator
or
the
electricity
in
the
room).
So
we
asked
for
a
second
key
and
they
told
us
to
come
back
in
the
morning.
Another
time
we
really
couldn't
find
a
cab
willing
to
pick
us
up
(the
hotel
is
in
a
residential
area
so
even
the
apps
have
trouble
serving
it
when
things
get
busy)
and
were
really
stuck
and
desperately
asked
the
hotel
for
help
and
were
told
"go
to
the
main
road."
The
breakfast
areas
of
the
hotel
is
absolutely
beautiful
(the
lobby
is
really
nice
too
btw).
The
breakfast
itself
was
just
OK.
We
had
much
better
ones
on
our
Colombia
trip.
Overall,
this
experience
was
not
bad
but
not
great.
This
is
an
expensive
hotel
(for
Bogota),
and
in
hindsight
we
know
we
could
have
done
better
(we
also
stayed
in
GHL
Tequendama
in
Bogota
during
this
trip,
which
was
cheaper
and
nicer).
