Restaurant Padang restaurant Balinese restaurant

👍👍 Finished our meals first then read some of these reviews. Why would anyone try to order pizza and burgers at an Indo resto? Ofcourse you can expect disappointment 😂 We had the chicken saté, rendang beef, and pepes fish and for dessert dadar gulung, a green crepe with coconut filling. All very tas... People often mention restaurant, good, great,

Finished our meals first then read some of these reviews. Why would anyone try to order pizza and burgers at an Indo resto? Ofcourse you can expect disappointment 😂 We had the chicken saté, rendang beef, and pepes fish and for dessert dadar gulung, a green crepe with coconut filling. All very tasty and nothing to complain about. Price was great as well. I recommend it!

Fair play. Just as I was beginning to loose faith in "normal" restaurants, I ate here. Was getting used to the feeling of being screwed over (not enough food or poor quality, being overcharged) every time I went into a restaurant that wasn't a street stand. But not here. Decent, tasty food, reasonable prices, fast, friendly service and PLENTY OF FOOD too (it beat me. Too much to finish). Free wifi too and it looks great as well. Highly recommended. Caters for vegetarians also. 10% service charge but worth it.

The food was great we ate there after our boat back from Gili T, probably one of the more reasonably priced and good establishment you will find around the pier area. Also the food was great and quick service. The toilets were clean so that's always a good sign. 😄

Simple. Quick. Incredibly tasty chicken curry! Cold beer cheaper than in Ubud grocery store. Perfect shady atmosphere. This is a bingo!

The restaurant was done up in traditional Balinese style and has a good view of the calm bay with bobbing boats and nice sea breeze. The staff was friendly and accommodating. That’s what the two stars are for. Out of the 4 dishes that we ordered, only one person finished all her food. The club sandwich was relatively tasty but was soaked in mayo and fell apart from the first bite. The vegetarian fried rice noodles tasted like it has way too much msg and was really oily. The scrambled eggs was super dry and needed loads of ketchup to make it palatable. The only passable dish was the basil fried rice which had strange green hard bits of rice that looked uncooked. Relatively cheap but food is not great

We have lunch and drinks here. Mi goreng is ok. Chicken satay with rice is good. Nasi goreng is so so. Pineapple lassy is not that great. Mango soda and iced latte are good. This restaurant has parking lot and outdoor showering (can have more water pressure). The toilets will need a renovation.

We went there to have take away food, after almost half an hour they gave us the order and when we said that we wanted to paid by card they told us that they only receive cash. We were really shocked because we didn’t have much money and it was not written anywhere that they don’t accept CC. Of course they didn’t let us know before. Beside that, THEY CHARGE YOU 10% FOR TAKEAWAY FOOD…….. So we said to them that we could only take some of the food with only the cash that we had. They said no because the food was already made and after that a nightmare. They were super rude, shouting and speaking in their language in front of us. We offered lot of solutions but they were not open to received them and they were mad because we didn’t have a local bank (we are tourists). After being there like 30 more minutes with our food cold and with this uncomfortable situation, they called the owner and we finally did a transfer wise. In the meantime, everything was really disrespectful and we had to ask them plenty of times to speak English in front of us. Worst experience in Indonesia, thank God we know that this is not an usual thing to happen in this beautiful country.

Puri Rai restaurant had some decent food, and I actually enjoyed the burger I ate. The food took very long to come out, almost 40 mins. Then when it was time to pay I wanted to use Card but was told it was cash only. After when I went to purchase a water bottle , I see a customer paying by card which didn’t make sense to me. The lady says the card machine works now only after a couple mins.

The food is so so, I got the Nasi Campur, and Nasi Goreng, and it’s okay. But the coffee is below average, I got a hot latte and it tasted like bland milk with coffee flavor, it was very run down by water.

When I arrived from Gili Island, I found a beachside restaurant that was so beautiful and the food was very delicious. The menu choices are very diverse, from Indonesian to Western food

Definitely the Best restaurant in Padangbai. Tried several different meals and all of them were just delicious. Also really big portions. Can't go wrong here.

Fantastic food and unique pizzas! Staff was very friendly. They did manage to steal my 3 hour long middle school breakup playlist from '05...had me in tears.

ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES IN INDONESIA. Luckily we have been to many other places before to know that balinese people are lovely and really welcoming with tourists, BUT THIS PLACE IS NOT. We had lunch today and it was nice, even though a male of the staff was kind of rude and he was clearly gossiping about us. We came back for dinner and order to take away. When it was time to pay, they told us they only take cash and all customers knew it, but how are we supposed to know if it doesn't say it anywhere???? It was late so no money exchangers were opened and we offered to pay with everything we had and take only the food that we could afford. The girl and the rude guy kept on talking about us and making everything really hard (and they also charge you the service fee for take away orders). They told us we could transfer to the bank account of the restaurant with an Indonesian account, but OF COURSE WE DON'T HAVE ONE. After half an hour we could transfer them money with an app, but it was a super stressful moment and they were the rudest. I do not recommend this place at all.
