Most visite able spot in Wayanad...Asia 2nd largest dam behind the dam mountain view awesome.i visit this place 2019 yearend with my friends by bike.. that time the way banasura road like off-road... But after reaching the point it's worth one..here speed boat i experience fully joy vera level 🔥. Normal motor boat helps to explore the dam..Try once Rope ride for dam greenish view and fun. Natural park tree are maintaine good shape and very neat .All area are maintaine very well and clean.

It's a nice place where you can spend some time enjoying the nature. The farm was built for irrigation purpose and the place is well maintained. You need to walk a little bit to teach the point, but shuttle service is provided for those who can't walk at a nominal cost

Banasura Sagar dam is one of the must visit destinations in Wayanad. It is a very picturesque location and you get a good view of the wayanad countryside from there. The entry fee is 50 rs and it is quite well maintained. The parking fee is 100 rs which I felt was a bit steep. It's a long distance to the top of the dam and quite a climb also. But you get a shuttle service from the entrance. It's a good place to unwind and relax and you can sit on several benches provided there.

Largest earthern dam. Largest floating solar panel is inside th dam which is owned by kerala state electricity board. There are lot of activities added there like bumper cars, 12D experience, Zip line by Muddy Boots. And there are 168 steps to the top of the dam and u can either climb the steps or u can avail a service by kuttiady hydel project or kseb vans servicing to and fro. There are many other attraction like boating services through the dam and also there is some play area. Lots of swing are available in the area near to park. Which is most busy always and very entertaining. There are swing for kids and children below the dam and at the top. Fish therapy js available at the top. There are some small pine like trees which is the main spot for a photoshoot. This dams spreads in a large area . Nearby hills and mountains are visible and are very scenic beauty from the top of the dam . Bamboos and other treas are maintained very well. Neat and clen place. There are less number of spaces for sittig and taking rest inside the park . 360 degree view from the top of the dam is beautiful. Down to the dam near the entrance area there is a lot of space for parking which is in layers. But the parking fee collection is not much organised and is around 70 Rs for a car. To reach from kozhikode go to vythiri and then take a left from vythiri town to padinjarathara . On the way u have all the directions to reach the place. The whole area is owned by KSEB.

It was pristine, picturesque and breathtaking. Couldn't imagine a place of tourist interest kept so neat and clean in India. It's definitely a place we will like to come back again for a more relaxed visit. We were also entertained by a monkey near our car.

This is a dam with picturesque and scenic views surrounded by the Banasura hills. One can also experience various activities such as Zip lining by Muddy Boots and many other small fun activities for kids. I personally tried the Zip lining and it was worth it!

Banasura sagar Dam is one of the main attraction in Wayanad. This Dam location is very beautiful. You can spend minimum 1-2 hr here and can take photos, boating is also available. Speed boating and pedal boating. The Atmosphere near this place is very cool and you can see the fog in hills the beauty of nature is so pleasant here.

A must place to visit. Speed motor boat is available to see the mesmerizing view of water and islands. Go early in morning around 9-10 AM and book a motor boat. 1 Motor costs INR 1000 for 5 people which is super cheap for 15 min ride.. Please go book early because office closes if there is a rush. Office opens at 9AM and speed boat operates till 5PM. Okayish zip line is available here but doesn't cover the dam or water. This place is great for photos and enjoyment.

Better place for outing for both friends and family with children play area and adult chillouts lk Swings,boat rides,zipline etc.., If u r planning to go there go early in morning as it may become too rush to enter and it will be too crowded to enjoy various sites, If there s an disabled person or old age PPL with u there is van facilities bottom to top vice versa, If u interested in Boating after entering book ur ticket then go around and see the dam ,swing, play area ...bcoz boatingay be too crowded it will take time to get in. Entry fees :40 /per ,20/ child, Van :15/ person. Zipline :350, Normal Boating :150 per person maximum 20 PPL, Speed boat :1000 for 5 persons maximum(opt this one).

Nice view of banasura lake, dam and hills. You can do boating as well. There are some cool swings on tall trees in the dam compound. There was longer wait time to get the tickets. You will have to either walk and reach to the top of the dam or you can opt for shared jeeps. There is a zipline also available in the compound.

It is a picturesque view from this place. Lots of greenery, birds chirping around, place has shade to sit & relax. There are various boating activities on the reservoir. There is a bit of a walk & climb to reach the top of the dam. Pets are allowed on the particular day if it is less crowded. The entry is for 40 Rs per person
