I have rated them overall 3 star only because of the restaurant staff and receptionist Nilofer. On day 1 we were in room 101 which had a balcony facing the river, where one could not see the river because it being on a lower floor. The staircase to access the property was next to our balcony and also the restaurant was pretty close to our room. Because of this there was constant noise and our 5 months old baby could not sleep properly. We asked them to give us a better room, but the only good option we got was on the third floor. This room was cramped up and had no balcony. Which means we got downgraded. We had to choose between peace and downgrading our room, we chose peace. This new room was very hot and had very little ventilation. When I called the reception, the owner tells me "bahar toh mast thanda hai aap bahar dekho" As if we were going to sleep in the lawn. On our last day here, there was no power for the entire night and the hotel did not start their power backup too. Their restaurant staff is too good and they served us food in our room because we had a baby with us. The food was lip-smacking and worth the money. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for their hospitality. If you're looking for a hotel with a good location that faces the river with not many expectations, then you can choose it.

We had a beautiful experience at the hotel Himalayan house, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food there was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible, the hotel is very beautiful with a peaceful garden by the river. Waking up in this place with the view to the mountains, the sound of the river and the birds made our trip very pleasant

Overall experience was very good. The location is amazingly beautiful and picturesque with hills all around and stream passing beneath the rooms as well as a deck above the River as part of hotel. The rooms were a little crampy but the view compensated for it. the staff did try to make the stay as pleasant as possible (special mention of manager Ms. Niloufer who took personal care of everything). The food was good but the restaurant again was crampy with worn out furniture. Strongly recommended for couples or friends, but with kids the room can make the stay less pleasurable.

Very nice and cozy rooms. They are furnished with all the modern facilities. A very nice location right on the river side and great view from the property. Very helpful staff. The restaurant food was amazing and all the staff in restaurant was very helpful and always went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

Room alloted to us were very small. Hot water in bathroom is big problem. lidder river flowing back side of hotel . That is only plus point of the hotel.

I have stayed at Hotel Himalya House several times and have always felt very welcomed. Most recently, the refurbishment of the rooms have lifted the Hotel to high end luxury, but still within a magical setting in nature with mountain views and a river running through the property with a deck so you can enjoy the tranquility. The owner, Mr Gukzar, is a warm and friendly host and he and his staff immediately make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and can be enjoyed outside in tbe lovely gardens. Very peaceful with all luxuries.

One of the best property in Pahalgam . Every person was good with communication skills. Quality of service And nice food was served. And The rooms wow the view was mind blowing from the rooms.
