Good place for a inexpensive meal. Hope BK makes it with all the new competitions in Pahoa.

Convenient but sometimes chicken is way over cooked and buns often hard. Like sat out long time. But the regular burgers are most always good. Fries are good. 2 YEARS LATER UPDATE. I ordered the Mac and cheese Cheetos (only had 4 in the box instead of 5. The Mac and cheese was over cooked and dry. The Cheetos part didn't taste like hit Cheetos but did leave a nice burn that you get from Cheetos. Over all I would give then 3/10. ) Also got the rodeo king chicken sandwich. At first grab I was disappointed. The rodeo king is HUGE this was much smaller. But I will say the chicken was cooked better and over all taste was 7/10. Worse park about Burger king Hawaii is the prices. They are EXTREMELY high. Just be prepared to pay high prices. Update. July 2019. - the tacos are very much like jackinthebox tacos. They kind of are good. But kind of suck. Idk, if you like Jack's tacos you might like these. Who ever prepared them forgot lettuce.

Love the number 3. But no love in return when at 4:30 this afternoon the fries are served mixed hot and old and cold and the patty in my impossible whopper burnt around the edges and soft, red, and cool in the center. The only discount I got for the sub par preparation was in the value of me as a paying customer.

Seriously the worst. Ever wonder why there’s no line at Pahoa BK and a line of 15 cars at Mc Donald’s? If you want to pay $15 for a meal (on most everything on the menu) to be served subpar quality cold food by an overly unenthusiastic employee who thinks their job requires rocket science; then this is your restaurant. I waited half an hour to get cold food. Paid almost $40 for this garbage. Everything I ordered the cashier repeated back to me looking like he was being held at gunpoint. While waiting in a dark, dim, and dilapidated restaurant you’re forced to listen for half an hour employees bicker amongst each other. It’s by far the worst BK I’ve ever been to. Sorry, I will have it my way by going to and Donald’s from now on.

This Berger King has a very good location just outside Pahoa. The location is a locally owned franchise, not a corporate owned location. Normally I frequent locally owned non franchised business however, I was hungry, location was an absolute priority, consistent quality was needed along with fast service. This location delivered 100% on all of my expectations. For me, and granted ratings were based on my specific expectation, this location delivered,

Standard burger king, but the service was above average

Excellent service at the drive-through here compared to many drive thru that I experienced. The order taker suggested a special deal they had going, which I appreciated. I have been to a lot of BKs and other similar places and this one stands out as one of the better ones.

Waited a few minutes for service while the manager gossiped with the cashier. When the cook informed them there were customers waiting, she finally came over. Since they keep the bathroom locked, I had to ask for a key. The manager informed me I had to order and get my food before she would unlock it. Food wasn't fresh, but no surprise there. I'd give it 0 stars if I could, purely for the rude manager.
