First time being here for a long time, came for the breakfast buffet, great food and a good price, I was surprised they didn't have a toaster and bread as already toasted cold toast for breakfast isn't as good. Was really impressed of how clean the place is, there was a cleaner dusting along the window ledges while I was in. 5 star for the cleaners. Thanks also to Thomas who made sure everything was OK for us.

The refurbishment looks fab! The portions were generous and food was excellent, although i had no room for pudding. The whole experience from setting foot in place, Kendal found us a table very quickly even tho advised a short wait to be seated. Nicola and all the staff were all pleasant and helpful. Sorry i didn't get his name but guy on desert counter was very friendly and helpful with my son. Brilliant service keep up the good work and look forward to visiting soon

The refurbished restaurant looks great. The food was good, apart from Yorkshire puddings that we couldn't get our knives through. The reason that I've only given 3 stars is that when I asked Brendan what the difference was between the carvery sizes, I was told "I don't know, I just work here, I don't eat here!"

I’ve came here numerous times now with my family and that speaks for itself, this place is a MUST try! If you have kids then by god it’s just what the Dr ordered! It has numerous play parks inside (yes inside!) and outside for kids of all ages! There is a large outdoor patio as well for us adults, the restaurant itself is large in size so isn’t running with kids it’s kept very separated from couples to families etc the meals are honestly out of this world especially the carvery we absolutely LOVE it!! The portions as you can see are huge and great value for money!! They also have a large menu with lots of other options available instead of the carvery too! They have the biggest cakes I think I’ve ever seen! And to top it all off they have an ice cream station with more toppings than Willy wonka himself! The staff are friendly and helpful as well and the restaurant always looks immaculate. If you haven’t been then RUN! can’t wait to come back again.

Had a great experience at farmhouse inns, despite it being busy at the weekend we were served very quickly. All the staff were great and very helpful. Especially the manager Kendal who attended to us and made sure everything was okay for us. The food was lovely and I loved the selection of cakes that they now have. The mr whippy ice cream topped it off!! Will definitely be back!

We had booked our table in advance which is the best thing to do as it's mobbed.the carvery food was nice but they also have a normal menu too.theres a cake bar and ice cream area with lots of toppings. Outside is a big play area and inside in the kids section is a soft play area.its very very noisy so if you have sensitive hearing this is not the place to go.you could spend a fortune here and go home with a full belly

Came here for a quick bite on Monday afternoon, wasn't too busy when we arrived but staff were great from the get go. Ordered the carvery after the gent with the black shirt and glasses (didn't catch his name) suggested it and it was fantastic! Meat was lovely, great selection of veg. I'll certainly be back.

This is my first time back after the refurbishment, I have been several times before, usually mediocre food and service but desperately want to give the place and team a chance. Last week we booked a large table to accommodate a family meal as we had family visiting from abroad. When arriving there was clearly some.mix up with the booking as several staff talked between them selves then asked us to wait a few minutes at a seating area until they sorted our table. When we were shown to our table we found we were actually spread across two tables. We were advised they would have to join tables together for us to sit together but that there were no suitable tables to do this. It was obvious that there had been an over booking or oversight, we would have appreciated honesty and appreciate mistakes happen. We were clearly lied to, we would have much preferred some honesty and vulnerability from the staff at this point. One of our tables was still dirty with used cutlery and food under the chairs. Ordering drinks on the app took almost 20 minutes for 3 refill glasses and two pints to arrive at the table. The syrup of the draft juice was running empty. The food as ever was sub par. I honestly enter this place every time with an open mind hoping to be proved wrong, but leave more disappointed and angered that it is always a chaotic and disappointing experience.

Popped in for lunch after the cinema. It has changed its name since I last visited. It is a large restaurant and has a play area for children. The menu has plenty of choice from soup, pies burgers and a carvery. There were no cakes in the display cabinet. We ordered the steak pie and a chicken salad. My husband enjoyed his pie, chips peas and gravy. However my salad was a huge disappointment. The salad had 7/8 small chunks of dry, tasteless chicken and a dressing which was so vinegary I couldn't eat it. I told the server but didn't get any response back. Not worth £11+. The pie was actually cheaper than the salad. ? On the plus side; Nice decor and friendly staff.

We popped in while dropping the car in to the garage, welcomed with a smile and a big good morning, we were offered a choice of seats, and we were advised of the service for breakfast. The breakfast is buffet style. Just grab a plate and load up. Will definitely be back, although if you are going for dinner, be sure to book early as this place is extremely busy, especially at the weekend. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to check out the cake cabinet.

Thankfully we had booked as walks in had long waits (13:30 Sunday) Staff were really nice and welcoming. The full area was clean and fresh. Kids had a great time using the indoor and outdoor play areas. The food was perfect and better than I had expected. Overall a really good experience and will definitely be going back soon.

Came for a Father’s Day brunch with our almost 2 year old. First time visiting the restaurant. The restaurant itself is brilliant with loads to do for young children to keep them occupied & Everything felt very clean. However (as expected) it was busy and by the time we got to the front of the queue for the carvery there wasn’t much left except from bacon and sausages however we all enjoyed what was available. We did however feel a-bit let down by the service. As it was our first visit we weren’t entirely sure what to do or where to go to pay or collect food and we’re taken to our table and left without much direction. And when interacting with the staff it felt as if they were a-bit uninterested. It hasn’t put us off entirely and would like to visit again as our little one did enjoy himself and as I said the food was very tasty. Would maybe just advise for staff to explain how the system works more.

Decent enough meal for the cost I'd buy again but certainly wouldn't rave about the quality I would avoid the breakfast though its rank rotten carvery is OK though for the value

Wonderful meal at Linwood Farm with my other half’s family - first time I’ve not opted for the ever tempting carvery and tried out something off the menu. Big plate of Cheese and onion pie was amazing, highly recommended. Thanks to Kerri and the rest of the staff for a great time had by all

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant with my lady. It was our first and not last by any means visit. Arrived around 7.15 and was greeted instantly with a warm welcome. We were informed that the carvery was closing shortly if we were staying for a meal it was best to inspect there were enough veg etc to satisfy us. We'll if that's called a shortage I can imagine me eating off a platter when they are fully stocked. Everything was delicious and for a standard meal I struggled to eat the last few pieces 😋. My pudding the famous chocolate éclair was enormous and like most I returned home with 3/4 of it in a carton. Affordability and value like I have never had before. Thankyou Reese and Sally , the chef and all staff for a super evening. Looking forward to seeing you all very very soon . 😀

Went for a spot of Lunch with the wife and kid. Had a great time, The kid loved the play area and the food was lovely. The girl Nicola was great host and the kid thought she was funny, the service was great and the wait wasn't as long as we thought it would be. Will definitely be back! Cheers.

Nice menu, food served quickly. Took ages to clear main course plates so we could get our sweets/puddings. Ended up putting them another empty table. Place not busy so no excuse.

Clean modern rooms. Clean nice smelling toilets. Very busy but service was still good. Good selection of food. The fruit crumble with ice cream was especially nice! Good indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids

Popped in for lunch after picking up our new car across the road. Wasn’t disappointed, food was excellent, prices were good and the service was the best! Took cake away with us after Amy recommended the new toffee fudge cake !! It was brilliant. Would highly recommend a visit and we will be back

Thought I would give this place the benefit of the doubt after previous bad meal here, was wrong went for the all you can eat buffet breakfast or should I say all that was there (shambles). Had a sausage bacon black pudding and beans no fried egg/scrambled no hash browns left no toast stood in queue waiting for 15 minutes people actually put there plates down and got refund, there should be someone attending to this area at all times communicating with kitchen staff getting stuff replaced once nearly done, staff more interested in bring out lunch carvery. Definitely won’t be back

Absolutely fantastic place! Went with family, food was great but service was above and beyond! There was a large group of us and the staff could not be nicer and no request was a bother to this staff! which put us at ease right away, from entry until leaving we were really well catered for and special mention to Kendal lovely person and even our 86 year old parents commented on how nice kendal and the staff were at accommodating them also! Back to food the Cakes and ice cream out of this World! And no one can ever complain about the portions either! 5 stars all round thank you all for a great experience!.. 😊 😊

Fantastic place for the kids and family! lovely cozy restaurant that offers an amazing carvery as well as a decent menu selection. The cakes are amazing and can be bought to take home! the kids loved the outdoor and indoor play area - such a great thing to have when out for a family meal

The staff were all very nice. Breakfast buffet tasty and a great wee play area in and out doors. Very clean and great coffee too! UPDATE SUNDAY 28/08/22 Arrived at 10.40 to be told breakfast is finished and no food being served until 11.30 disappointed as I had 3 very excited children so had to go elsewhere. Another 6 people in the queue left also. Surely there could be a breakfast menu until the lunch menu starts?
