Excellent stay...room was neat and clean and good room service, better avoid the restaurant inside its an italian restaurant but very expensive, ambience is good

Worst stay ever. No assistance in transportation. The breakfast supplies very very limited. No laundry facilities in house. Its out sourced. No facility to call from in room. The restaurant inside has only chinese option and very expensive. No door calling bell facility. Tea, coffee, water bottles supplies for replenishment are pathetic. Very far from cental and airport. If you arrive late, Uber, ola rides are herculean task. Would strongly not recommend this place.

Wanted to stay in a hotel and continue my 'work from home' plan as my house was under renovation and wanted quiet and safe place to work. Maroma Suites seemed to be a good option due to positive reviews, budget and location. But I was put off by unrealistic hotel rules they have in their terms and condition. The top one I really shocked was 'outside food not allowed'. Do they expect the guests to be forced to eat the food they are preparing? It is a common scene in every hotel where guests order food from Swiggy / Zomato. Other weird rules were like Non-veg food not allowed and guests from the same city are not allowed looks like the rules imposed during British raj. Grow up Maroma!. I went and booked another nearby hotel which knows how to treat their guests! Update: Here is my answer to the response by the Owner to my previous review I am a local guide posting reviews for years in google based on my personal experience. I have no gains by degrading your property or misleading your guests. My comments are based on the property rules published by you on Makemytrip.com. Such rules refrained me from booking room at your property even though I wished. There may be others who would feel the same. I am ready to remove my review if you are ready to remove those rules from the website

We stayed in the property for 2 days and it was just about perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff was prompt. Breakfast is served around 8 AM and it was delicious. The property is just a stone's throw away from the beach. But, be careful in the beach, as it gets deep quite suddenly. Looking forward to visiting the hotel again. Special Thanks to the owners for positive response to our request of change of dates. We really appreciate the gesture.

Rooms are very clean and service is good. Clean swimming pool accessible till evening. Walkable distance to the beach. Food is very expensive in the hotel and no good restaurants near by so we ordered online for food. Stay is good but costly.

Located in a calm place, few meters away from the shore. This place is suggested for a staycation or a weekend getaway. Few rooms do have a sit out or balcony area(good news for smokers). Comfortable beds, neatly designed rooms. Adding few decors the wall might be suggested. They serve complimentary breakfasts. Also, the restaurant , Mayflower of theirs serves amazing food. They are one of the best cafes in town. You can also enjoy your morning coffee at their terrace which gives an amazing view of the sea. Loved the place.

Stayed here for 3 days last week. Had the most terrible experience with the swimming pool. We were a group of people and all our kids developed severe rashes and wounds all over the body. Irritated skin amongst all youngsters and adults persisted. When conveyed to a friend who visited a month ago, found out that this issue has persisted and children have been getting severe rashes every visit. Imagine the quality of water, don’t understand if it’s the excessive use of chemicals or the water itself is contaminated. This issue was also reported to the management during the visit, however no action taken. This should be reported to higher authorities and strict action should be taken to prevent children from falling sick and having such issues. This is just what we can see over a night, imagine the affect it would have on us which could lead to long term issues. The rashes are severe and not even curable over a week. I would suggest we boycott the swimming pool until strict action is taken regarding this matter. In protest against the management.

This is an excellent place to stay. Hugely spacious and luxurious rooms and bathrooms. Excellent and friendly customer service. One little downside is that not many vegetarian options. Very good for Non-vegetarian dining. The location is excellent and safe. Also, very close to a clean beach. It is 100 mts away from all the necessary places like restaurants, shops and others. Special mention to the Manager of the Hotel and his staff. Very helpful.

We booked for. Weekend stay with my friends. Browsing through google and found this place. The photos were good. And the reviews were also good. After that we confirmed the booking with Thiru sir. Who is the manager of the property. The first impression after entering the property is very good, the whole property is crafted with very good idea and we can see the passion for the wood works. The property is located very near to the beach as well. Really loved the atmosphere. Recommend for family. Swimming pool is also maintained neatly.

Very nice hotel with an amazing restaurant. The food was just delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, though sometimes we felt a little too observed.

Located near the beach and has a nice small pool. The room wasn’t the cleanest, sheets were stained in couple of places and shower head was clogged badly. The bed was nice and big but weirdly positioned with a Tv on one corner. They were no bath robes or anything to wear to the pool and back to the room. We definitely made a mess after the pool. The biggest red flag is that the room door has no latch or chain to keep it shut from inside. There’s no control to keep people from entering the room from outside with a key.

Good place to stay for family with kids. Food are continental style. Friendly staffs. Beach is in a stone throw away.

Falling in love with this place and the service. Thank you for welcoming and making our stay the best of experiences. The suites are spacious with a great sitting area in the balcony and the staffs are always prompt and ready to attend to your every needs. A walkable distance to the beach, lots of greenery and calmness. Been here more than once and counting 😇.

Awsome property in a great location the place was very calm with restaurant the rooms where romantic the pool was very nice inside the property the common area has a dinning table and have to say about the restaurant the food was in the ultimate level the four cheese pizza was out of the world i have never tasted pizza anywhere else like that over all great place to sit, eat, relax, and repeat.

A very good and nice place for stay with family. Walking distance from the beach. Rooms are good and service is good as well. Staff is also very nice and helpful. Restaurant is also good. Food was good. Only thing is that items in the menu are limited can be improved.

Best place for stay at weekend. Recommended for families. Just 50meters away to the pallavakkam beach.

Had a very pleasant stay for one day with family. The kids especially enjoyed the cute pool which had plenty of shade in the afternoon, and the food at the Mayflower restaurant was great as well. Spacious and well designed rooms as well

One of the best place to opt if you wanna have peace calm and comfortable stay near the beach and within city limit. Excellent and elegant rooms with balcony. Very spacious and everything was awesome. Especially they do hear our requests and arranging for us. We requested for a menu change in buffet breakfast and that was done by them. Food served for complimentary breakfast was also super. Beach is also very near by. Added advantage is the Swimming pool that was really enjoyed by kids. Very nearly maintained by them. I would recommend this place to family and friends who wanna have nice ambience within city limit and good accessiblity.

We went for a day package. We had a great day as a family. My kid as well as my family enjoyed alot a the pool.The pool was very clean and the food in the restaurant was delicious.overall a good place to chill.

We had a blast, here. Service was good they were cleaning the room whenever some mishaaap has happened. Rooms wer like, neat af. With a bit of authenticity in the furnitures. A good place to chill. Better than few star hotels in the town..

One of its kind property in Chennai. I enjoyed it. Thanks to the staffs. Will certainly stay back again. But wasn't happy with the food here. I will recommend you to outdoor catering. Everything else was wonderful 🙂

Very messy or hopeless food , no properly cleaning room n pots like tea maker etc, mosquito in room. Reception guy’s behaviour very rudely. Time of check in or booking saying complimentary breakfast but not serving n bring food from street vendors Very bad experience. I will never suggest that go there
