I had a very frustrating experience with the bank due to the staff's unresponsiveness and slow service. Despite multiple employees working, they seemed unconcerned with my time and lacked urgency in their work. This resulted in an unreasonable wait time just to deposit a cheque, leaving me feeling frustrated and irritated. Additionally, none of the staff members showed any remorse for the inconvenience caused. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by this bank and would not recommend.

Very good service. I am working in abroad. I went to close my loan account. There are some issues like my account is deactivated because I didn't use long time. I didn't bring pass book. The youngsters in this branch very efficient. Whatever possible they are doing. They close my housing loan account properly with proper documentation. Even I didn't get this service in private sector like banks, from my builder, etc., even I am paying huge money for their service.

Manager in this branch is worst. Had a bitter experience. Kindly educate the manager Mrs. Sangeetha to learn about inter personal skills. All other staffs too. Very poor performance.

Worst service. We went for address change for my mother who is 80 years. We live in Bangalore and travelled to Chennai to finish the bank work. We submitted her Aadhaar as address proof. They did not accept the application giving the reason that her PAN and aadhaar are not linked. We got address change done in Hdfc bank h aatoday with aadhar card..

Recently visited the branch to open current account for my tech startup. Mz. Umarani the officer gave 15 pages of form. I went back branch after 3 days with necessary docs, she was not there. The other staff told the form is legacy one and i have to fill a new one. It was irretairri how Mz.Umarani can gave such legacy form. I went two days after and asked her about it. She simply says without any apologize as to the bank has changed the form. How such big SBI can change thr form in 3 days without any perior notice or any transition period. So, I got a new form filled and submited. Mz. Umarani verified and accepted. After a week she called me to visit next day morning mentioned something is missing. When I visit, I came to know he applied leave on the day. How ridiculous it. I then met the manager, asked how he can keep such staffs. He apologize me, and asked me to leave as he doesn't know what was the issues with my application. He called me in an hour with my account number. He was nice. Very bad experience with thr branch. Every business exist only by customers. Better SBI teach this to staff.

Best customer service.. I've never come through such a good experience in any other banks. Friendly environment and polite service providers all over the Perungudi branch. We faced so many technical issues while opening an account but the person on Account open desk was so polite and she gave me a supportive hand to open account without any hesitation.

Worst customer service. No proper response when you call the customer service number. For each query you need to run between poll to pillar... nothing works out.. Terrible experience.

Had a good experience here. There is a reception desk just while entering inside the bank from where you can get all types of forms and any assistance in case of any problem. There is a self help token machine and after getting the token you need to wait until your number is announced and dispalyed in the board. Locker room is available here and ATM is in the ground floor with availability of deposit machine.

Frustrating experience with the staff, I wanted to create a NRE account with SBI, I know well about this perungudi branch since I hold a savings account in this branch for past 15 years where I never go to the branch but this time I have to visit the branch. I’ve already filled the forms and request letter to transfer my SIF to my nearest branch to avoid going to perungudi branch. But for initiating my existing account transfer to my nearest branch this bloody staffs put me to wait for so many hrs and asked me to come tomorrow. The staffs in the branch behave like deputy collector’s… I strongly not recommend this branch to anyone as well as SAY NO TO SBI.

Absolutely the most unfriendly front desk, can't communicate with clarity, branch never ever answers the landline phone provide, no alternative mobile numbers, in person no cordiality. Most stonewalling of experiences.

They make you wait unnecessarily. Especially for tasks which take less than 2 minutes. Only the building and outlook is new. Save for the home loan p.o.c, all the other staff are your typical sbi staff.

Building next to Sukkubhai Biryani. Many confuse this branch with the Perungudi one. This branch is the Rajiv Gandhi Salai Branch. Make sure to Google it with this term. Staff are ok ok. Please come early at 10 am itself. Else waiting time is high
