Heartwarming local mural of Falcone and Borsellino, two anti-Mafia magistrates who lost their lives trying to dismantle the mafia in Sicily. I’m happy the city is paying homage to two heroes who we can thank for the Palermo/ Sicily we have today! Very interesting to learn how the mafia has been reduced in its power and of all the tragic sacrifice from these two men to civilians, including children, it’s taken to get here. May it never return to those dark times again.

This mural such has a deep meaning to the city and its people, that makes it already very special and worth seeing. On top of that I find it interesting artistically speaking. A piece of meaningfull and good contemporary art melted with classical architecture.
