Visit the church as well not just the rooftop. The paintings inside are very beautiful. The rooftop views are probably the best ones you can get of Palermo. The sweets in the cafeteria are made by the nuns and are very tasty old schools Sicilian cakes.

Definitely worth visiting when in Palermo. A lot of people will say that Palermo Cathedral, Quattro Canti, Fontana Pretoria and Teatro Massimo are musts. I say that this is up there too. Not only does it offer views down onto the fountain and the surrounding skyline, the inside is lovely. The garden is a lovely place to relax and take yourself out of the bustling streets and scorching sun of Palermo. The church itself is stunning too

For all the tourists, this place is a MUST! I visited the Church and Terrace for €7 in December 2021 and it was a beautiful building to finish off my day in Palermo with. The church is very intricate, the gardens are beautiful and the terraces, breathtaking, with a 360* view of the city. Highly recommend!

The church opens at 10:00. It is absolutely breathtaking. At the entrance, visitors are presented with the option to buy a tour of Sicilian rooftops. Taking the access on the right, you go into the cloister and its wonderful pastry. There, visitors can buy the best cannoli in Sicily and many more Sicilian specialties. Plus, you get to eat your sweets in the cloister's garden!

Stunning, beautiful, magnificent church. Check out the wooden wheel to the right of the altar. The story is wheel was used to pass sacred offerings directly into the church. We heard a woman stating babies were placed from the outside to give to the church if a parent was unable to care for the infant. The dog carrying the torch in the front of the altar is also worth seeing. Definitely pay for the whole tour including the roof. It’s incredible to see the dome from above and the original, wooden roof.

Visiting this former nunnery and church will get you three attractions in one. You'll be impressed by the baroque church; you can enjoy the view from the rooftop, and you can taste the delicious Sicilian cookies in the bakery. Don't miss the freshly made, giant cannoli.

Interesting collection of art and paraphernalia. Church and monastery are beautiful. Tickets feel expensive for what you get to see. Definitely worth a visit.

From all the places where you can see Palermo from the roof, this is the one to go - you will have access to see so many things - sea, old town, several church roofs, their own garden, Fontana Pretoria. They offer a variety of entry tickets, according to your needs - starting from 3 EUR to visit the church; up to 10 EUR to see everything - church, monetary and the roof.

Nice place to visit, even if it was crowded. No need to buy a ticket for the church if you already get one for the monastery and the roof since you can see the church from above. There is also a nice pastry place inside the monastery, which can be accessed without paying.

There’s a “wow” moment when we entered the church, and then again when we climbed to the rooftop (perfect view of the Fontana Pretoria which was inaccessible itself at our time of visit due to film shooting) and when we entered the tranquil roof terrace carrying pastries from the nuns‘ convent dolceria. It‘s a wonderful place to spend a peaceful hour.

Impressive church and monastery. If you want to see the church, monastery and also go on the roof, the entrance is 20 EUR. The view from the roof was even better than we expected! Don't miss the bakery and enjoy a delicious and huge Cannolo outside under the lemon trees.

A shame that the entree staff doesn’t hold up to the beauty of the church! Don’t be fooled by the prices on the official website! We had a 15year old with us, which according to the website is supposed to have a reduced priced, but when she showed her ID to prove it, they still said she had to pay full price. Either the website or the girls in the front are to change! However, the church is absolutely superb, and do not miss out on the rooftop!

Beautiful church but what is spectacular is the free, peaceful garden. We also took tickets to go to the rooftop and it’s definitely worth it: you’ll have an amazing view of Palermo!

Beautiful church with rooftop views. I was sceptical how good the rooftop views would be but you get an a few amazing points to see in all directions of Palermo….

An interesting counterpoint to the normal chapel and the gothic cathedral this is a baroque masterpiece, ornate and intricately carved, we stopped in at the chiostro next door to get some baking made by nuns (I'm not sure if they use holly water but the cookies were amazing).
