Very unique place. Each corner has different sculptures and different images. One side goes to the Porta Felice and the other side to the Porta Nueva. It’s a very important part of the city. And also each moment of the day it has a different feeling. Very popular place.

Very pretty place surrounded by beautiful buildings. Expect this street to be very busy. Great place for a photo 😉. When we visited the place for the first time, there was a movie being filmed all along the street. So it was closed. The photo taken from below was taken 2 days later.

When sun goes down the light will appear make its looks so beautiful more. When you lucky there is street artist play some cool songs in the corner. Free admission so hurry up.

From the sculptures to the architect, and of course the beautiful fountains. This is definitely an area you do not want to miss the chance to experience when in Palermo. If you dread walking they also have horse carriages that can give you a tour of it all in one hour for a reasonable price. Food and drinks are close by, and you are able to walk it off afterwards as you look into the little shops housing souvenirs, ceramics, and so much more.

Really nice square in Palermo. Still well maintained and really gives that historical perspective in the area. There are loads of tourists around. So going early is highly recommended if any like to avoid the crowd. Definitely nice insta spot

Very interesting cross roads of Palmero. Go early in the morning when no crowds. Each corner has several representations the bottom level being the seasons. Each corner catches the most sunlight during that particular season! Very cool!

Vibrant confluence of the 4 main streets of Palermo. Soak in all the energy from the hustle bustle and the street performances that happen here. And after dusk, the lit streets look even more gorgeous!

Beautiful intersection. The best part is that to visit the square is free and you can visit it at any time, day or night.

Wonderful central spot in Palermo. This is where the main roads meet and from here you can explore the city just fine. Early in the morning it is very quiet here, allowing you to take beautiful photos. Later in the morning, afternoon and evening, this central spot exudes cosiness and liveliness.

When we arrived to the “four corners” we noted the buildings and as we were starting to part a man giving horse buggy rides (we were quoted €60 for an hour ride) sì asked me if I wanted to see nude people around the corner! Since I understand and speak a little Italian I said sure. And sure enough in front of the city there was a huge fountain full of nude statues! We laughed. He shared a lot of information on location of markets, piazzas, etc. As we walked away to visit the Church in the southwest corner some street performers showed up and it started to get very crowded. The street leading to the Quattro Canti is supposedly pedestrian only but be mindful of scooters, vespas, bikes, police cars, and service vehicles. They will zip pretty close to you so move your bums! This area did seem to have less litter and trash than the others we visited.

We stayed at the Quintocanto Hotel & Spa, which is right next to this historic "Four Corners" site. When we were there, it was quite exciting that they were shooting a Netflix TV series (I think the name is Il Gattipardo). Unfortunately that meant the intersection was blocked off so you had to take a walk around several blocks to get to various places in Palermo however you could walk right up to the site where they were filming and it was very cool. I can't wait to watch the series. The buildings and statues themselves are quite beautiful and historic, dating back to the 1600s. The TV series depicts the time period around the unification of Italy in the 1860s and therefore they put dirt in the streets to cover the asphalt and the actors were dressed for the period. This is the heart of Palermo.

The Quattro Canti can be described as the center point of Palermo. Four major roads meet at this crossroad. The walls of each corner are adorned with large, classical statues.

The location is fantastic! Just about 100 ft. Away from Quattro Canti! This corner is the connecting crossroads of 4 districts in Palermo. You can walk to everywhere you need! The rooms are big, the bathrooms are big and the service is good! The floors are wood looking vinyl (so nice). You can listen to the street music from the Quatro Canti corner which I 🥰. Artist’s played to just before midnight. Negative marks for no towel bar in the spacious hotel bathroom with just 2 plastic hooks in shower area. The fridge is tiny. The automatic lights turn off after about 10 seconds if your not moving. Small inconveniences compared to the parks of this location! Our view was of some churches and the Fontana Pretoria (which once was the largest in Europe). Great food is just at the corner and continues for over a mile! Bellissimo !

This place was historical but smell of urine around the square. However, if you take the horse carriage, be very careful. They will tell you the price and then ask for more later. Better to agreed on the price and paying them immediately after getting on. Please negotiate with them on the price before agreeing and getting on

great intersection to wander through, people watch and listen to the buskers - some very good, some uurggh. Great location to move onto the pedestianized areas for huge choice of food and drinks, as well as touristy style shopping. lots of horse and carriages (probably explains the constant smell of urine in this area)and tuk tuks vying for business. And along with Piazza Pretoria just off the corners, seems to be the main place for newly weds to have their photos taken - we saw 3 or 4 a night.

Streets that holds so much memories ! Garibaldi, the unification of Italy, The Mafia, The Kingdom of Naples are all here .. Just a simple read through a thousand years page of many thousand of years Sicilian story-book !

The Four Corners is considered the heart of Palermo Italy. It is a fascinating intersection with four women statues representing the four seasons. There are many interesting things to do in Palermo. I would recommend staying at least four nights to see most of the best of Palermo. Be sure to stay in the heart of the city near Victor Emmanuale Street from the Harbour to the Piazza Independencia.

Many historical stories about this place. We were guided by a experienced local tour guide who speaks good English. She walk us through the more iconic churches, palace and abandon fountain Ig:amber_sicilyguide.

This is one of Palermo's central squares. You'll probably come here without planning a visit. Very impressive, the only thing that spoils this place is the large number of beggars, as well as people passing by on scooters. Four corners, with great decorations

It is the cenral part of Palermo for the tourists. Best time to visit this ticket free area is morning. The entire area is historically rich with several monuments. If you want to capture crowd moments, afternoon to evening would be the best time for you

Historic four corners in Palermo. Beautiful architecture at each corner, not very well maintained.

Very busy with lots of tourists but worth seeing. There is a little stall which sells frozen water for €1 each which was nice in the heat. Worth a visit :)

Be an early bird and avoid the mass crowd. We booked a walking tour at 9am and managed to see everything before the mass crowd caught up on us.

A perfect locator spot to get tour bearings. Also impressive architecture and worth seeing at different times of rhe day. Each quarter is highlighted in sunshine at different times of the day

Only if you know about how this square came about and what the statues mean, you can appreciate it. Otherwise, it is crowded with tourists (like me) but also tons of people who want to make money from the visitors. Since this is such condensed area it's is not a nice place to spend time.
