My wife and I absolutely loved this beautifully renovated hotel. It is absolutely stunning. This was by far the best wedding anniversary I could ever as for at the Redlands hotel. The rooms are beautiful with large picture windows, with extravagant colors, and comfy beds. It is located in the beautiful downtown area, which also overlooks the Palestine train yard . Sitting on the balcony was pleasant, and I loved the walk-through of the hotel in its entirety. Absolutely stunning site to see, I would say. Lots of history in this building. Mike and Jean are truly beautiful and genuine people. ❤️ Thank you for making our stay special.

What a beautiful hotel with so much charm and character. We were greeted warmly at check-in and our girls were even offered some special treats. Our suite was clean, spacious, and even had its own Christmas tree. We enjoyed a late dinner at the Queen St Grille where we received great service and food. I wish I had spent a little more time exploring the lobby and reading all about the hotel's history. This is such a hidden gem and we're so glad we found it when we needed a place to stay in Palestine. We will be back!

We did not get to stay in the hotel, but my friends and I went in to see this historical building. The owners were gracious enough to show us around and even opened up the bar and kitchen early so we could enjoy some dessert. Best creme brulee I've ever had! We were so blessed by their hospitality and superior customer service! There is even a small art gallery and the manager was very friendly and full of information. We had a blast on this visit. I thought it this would be a simple 15 min looksy, but we ended up staying almost 2 hours.

Last minute decision to stop over in Palestine at The Redlands. Tracy put me in a beautiful room with added special touches. I enjoyed exploring the hotel and the peace and quiet the hotel afforded. Wonderful place to stay with lots of history. Highly recommend staying here not just for a place to sleep but for the experience of looking back on history.

The Redlands Hotel is a beautifully restored 1914 hotel with all the modern amenities you could want! Our room was amazing with a large sitting area, full kitchen and super comfy bed. Owners Jean and Mike, along with Tracey, made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Take time to explore the hotel and its history, and enjoy Jean’s passion and stories of her nearly five decades of ownership. We loved our time there and will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Redlands; the rooms were wonderful with great views of the town and the restaurant was superb; the staff and management were very accommodating. Located in the heart of Palestine; this is the place to stay!

This is my favorite hotel! The staff is warm and friendly, the Main Street grill is delicious, and the rooms are so amazing, comfy bed, plenty of space, great shower. The hotel Is very family friendly and so are the rooms. Thank you Redlands for giving us such a wonderful experience! We will be back many many more times.

My husband and I stayed here for a night away and we LOVED it! The building has so much character and history. The entire place is decorated for Christmas and there was even a small Christmas tree in our room. We walked around the "museum" parts of the hotel and really enjoyed it. The only disappointment came from the restaurant in the hotel, but that's a separate rating and review. We will definitely be back to the hotel!

This is a historic hotel, over 100 yrs old. Very nice and clean inside. Our room had a full kitchen, lounging area, a full bath and bedroom. Like a small efficiency apartment, cozy. Has a bar downstairs and a really nice dining area.

We just toured the public areas of the building when it was decorated for Christmas. We encountered the manager and several others there and all were very friendly and made us feel welcome, even though we were not staying there. Really neat place to visit.
