The best restaurant in Chaniotis this year! The location is very nice and close to a very big park. The service is excellent and all the people there are very friendly. The quality of the food is very good and I would say it’s also a good value for money especially at a touristic place like that one. Very nice decoration of the place and very good styling of the dishes as well! For the fans of small fried fish, they are served with the middle bone removed which is a big plus!

We had seafood and fish here and everything was fresh (the calamari was soft, easily chewable and very tasty; the red mullet was sweet and flavorful). Because the sun was setting and we were having dinner very close to the sea, the view was romantic, even though we were surrounded by tables full of people (families, couples, groups of friends). The waiters and bartenders are fast, attentive and funny, so they help you to get in the holiday mood, making sure you have everything you need. It’s a very nice restaurant, we came here after we read other reviews and saw photos with the dishes and we didn’t regret; the opposite, we are glad we came here, the two of us and our dog 🫶🏼❤️ The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is enjoyable, they serve fresh, delicious food very quick even though the terrace is quite generous and most of the tables are occupied. It’s a good one, Bakalis!! 🥂👏🏻

Amazing restaurant with delicious and fresh food. We went there for lunch and we couldn’t be any happier. Everything they serve is fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend!!

Hello everyone from a lovely night in hanioti We had dinner at Bakalis Restaurant, the food was nice and specially the mussels with rice, you have to try. Sadly the service was not good and specially the food runner was so rude but Eleni was super super friendly and helpful. So if u just care about the food it’s wonderful place to eat. Enjoy it

Nothing special. edible but nothing more than that. the food is completely unsalted, not spicy, not a single seasoning, like hospital food. unfortunately this is one of the better restaurants here. Basically- tourist trap. For people who don't know better. They recommend some kind of cheese, and for me as a cheese lover it was a great disappointment. Goat cheese.washed taste, bad. Even Olives was wrong.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The service is great, atmosphere also and the food is just delicious. Definitely recommend the feta with sesame and honey and the grilled shrimps.

Nice experience, we had fish, mussels an rissotto sea food, good quality for the price, reccomended.

The food here was absolutely fantastic, accompanied by a wonderful setting and very nice staff this is definitely a great place to go to.
