My wife and I stayed at Ocean View Beach Homes for 45 days and every day was amazing. First of all, the family and the staff who manage this hotel are very friendly and attentive to guests' needs. We stayed in one of the large ocean view rooms. The room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, hot water for the shower, kettle with glasses, tea and coffee. The bathroom was huge. The large ocean view balcony was amazing with chairs. On the ground floor there is the restaurant which is also managed by the same family. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were great, healthy and reasonably priced. The beach is right in front of this Hotel. Just cross the street and within seconds you reach the sand and the ocean, where it is not uncommon to spot dolphins swimming close to shore.

This is our second time here and all because of excellent service and interaction with Shri Dhanesh. His enthusiasm and ready to help and make us comfortable each time with a smile is really worth coming back again and again. Apparently their restaurant is one of the most popular one and non-vegetarian food (we were told by others) is the best. Keep it up Dhanesh and we wish you all more success

I recently stayed at "Ocean View Beach Homes" for 4-5 days and had a great experience. The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent value for money, neat rooms and bathrooms, excellent view of the ocean and very personable service. They also run the 'Shivetan Kada' restaurant and the restaurant have a variety of Kerala foods, including meals, paratha and seafood items. It's all good. Definitely recommend for family.

Am writing this review while sitting in front of ocean, enjoying the view of waves . Two brothers are such a great host ,they are so humble and they treat guest as God . The kind of service they provide is outstanding..the food is mouthwatering ..we have not tried any food from outside all the 3 meals for 3days had it in ocean view homes.. this our second visit to the property..would definitely come back again and again. Strongly recommend this place .

The room was very neat and view was awesome. The food in restaurant was very good. Hospitality was very good. Parking also big and we have access to ocean. We 3 families stayed there with kids. It was a wonderful experience.

Stayed here for 8 days. Awesome room with nice balcony opening to a fantastic sea view. The beach is just across the road (20 mtrs away). Restaurant is attached and room service is available round the clock. Food is exceptionally tasty and comes at a wide variety and cheap too. Lots of seafood dishes are available. Staff/owners (2 brothers) were polite, cordial and helpful.

Room interior and all are good but service is not good. Loaction is nice but the road is too poor.

Next opposite to the beach with very famous restaurant attached with it. There ara hammocks and other facilities to use. We got the room for 2k for 6 peoples.

Pretty nice place, has a good restaurant. The beds are kind of uncomfortable and the rooms and not exactly spacious. The staff is nice. If you're with friends or partner then this is a good place to go to.

Dhanesh and Team are doing a great job. Everything about their service was great. Hope they add Lot of good items to their Vegetarian Menu. Clean rooms and nice locale. Good Beach view from the Balcony

Nice view, gud food, must try punnara meen.. rooms are gud, but not advisable with family... Check for others booking in the hotel, if going with family

Stayed overnight The place is good , toilets were clean , rooms were clean, working AC. The service was surprisingly good. The staff is very accomodative & friendly. Wifi was a bit weak though. If you are planning to have breakfast then you need to let them know in advance since their restaurant opens only by noon. The view from the rooms are decent , however the sea is 15-20 meters away from the hotel ( right across a small road) - so don't expect a doorstep sea view. Not many resorts/ hotels in Cherai offer that kind of view. Overall this place is definitely value for money.
