Excellent steak, the dessert are delicious. The service was good. Just that we feel a bit awkward walking in there, the vibe is out of our comfort zone. In conclusion, we feel like we were being judged by the staffs a bit. After a trying to be nice service, the whole experience was fine. Nothing wrong with judging people but still trying to do a good job. Thanks to you guys for trying. Maybe will be back in next 15 years when we feel like we’re more vibing.

Happy times at happy hour. The staff is superb. Food is okay. Bring a sweater because It gets pretty chilly at the bar area. Stephanie, and the rest of the staff are great. The bar was crowded so she sat me at the booth while I waited for a friend. When my friend arrived I wanted to move to the bar and the waitress helped me transit there offering to carry my beverages and app over there. I ordered a burger and potato skins that were on the happy hour menu. Both for $6 each. The burger was pretty basic and the potato skins lacked a little flavor. The discounted martini I had was $9 and it was very good.

The French onion soup is incredible! I had the bone in filet and it was so tender And flavorful! The dinners come with two sides I got the salad and baked potato! It was an excellent meal with fast and friendly service! Happy Holidays!

Wanted to try out the oldest steakhouse in Florida. The atmosphere was awesome with a great little bar area. Your choice of steaks are very nice and they are all dry aged. On this particular night, we had an amazing server, India. She made our visit as good as it could be. We really enjoyed her service. Got the Tomahawk. Asked for it medium rare with a good char on the outside. Was absolutely cooked to perfection. Taste was spectacular! Very satisfied. Of course this is a high end restaurant, so expect to pay for the elegant service, great decor and fine dining. It’s worth it if you have it. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!

Had an amazing dinner here last night! Best steakhouse in S FL by far. We got the house salad with blue cheese dressing, Kansas City sirloins, brussel sprouts, baked potato, garlic mashed potatoes, and the peanut butter pie. I like rare steaks with a heavy char for a crispy bite, and they delivered! Service was impeccable and I was impressed with the steak and dessert tray they bring around to show you your options. Old school vibe but so, so delicious.

I had the pleasure of Amber being our server. Dinner was delicious, I would highly recommend the crab stuffed mushroom caps and creamed spinach. I ordered the rock lobster (which I have had many times before from other places), I did expect to see a different type of tail, but none the less, I enjoyed the taste. They have a really great wine selection. I did find the acoustics to be not so great. At times it was pretty loud, but hey it was a Friday night. I appreciated that our server show us the cuts so we could make a selection. Note, there is complimentary valet.

Amazing! This is one of the best steak houses in SF! The staff were fantastic, service was awesome and the steak, I'm stuffed but could go for another steak.... I can't believe it took us this long to get there. You won't be disappointed well worth it and the history behind this place is a testament to how good it is.

Ribeye Steak: Nice portion deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. Chilean Sea Bass Moist and full flavored. Top 5 sea bass I've ever had. Lobster Mac n Cheese: Plenty of cheese under a crusty shell. Bourbon Chocolate Mousse A nice and light dessert after lots of food. Not too sweet. Service: Great service, which meets the level expected of such a place. Final thoughts: A strong recommendation for anyone looking to try a local steakhouse.

Came here with some family who came in from out of state and I gotta say, we were all impressed by both the service and food. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly, all our sides and appetizers were great, and the wine was paired perfectly with the food. Our server was very nice and attentive and went out of his way to make sure we were more than satisfied with our experience here. If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d be here every day! While it is expensive (as it should be), this place is great to bring family and friends for special occasions and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great steakhouse!

My first visit to Okeechobee Steak House unfortunately was less than pleasing. I ordered surf and turf, which I was told came with a salad because it was a steak meal. I asked for medium well. My steak was brought out well. I alerted the waitress who took it back to the kitchen and after 45 minutes I was brought a second steak that was medium rare. The manager stated my bill would have the meal removed. I was still charged for the salad that supposedly came with the meal. I am very disappointed. I am a registered nurse that was looking to try a good meal in respite during a pandemic at a new restaurant and was sorely let down and charged when they said I wouldn’t be for a portion of the meal. I hope others experiences are better. Unfortunately, when my coworkers ask, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Hate to give this revenue. We were in the area and decided to stop in for dinner as I have friends that have recommend this place. The waiter did his job but we never clicked. There was no personality. Well, the wagyu had no presentation what so ever. See picture. We have eaten at many restaurants and she was floored. A $119 steak and no garnish or anything. Just there all alone on a plate. The others had presentation but not the Wagyu. Once done with dinner on the receipt it states free steak for birthdays. Well we didn’t know and we had gone for my daughters birthday. It was the day after her birthday we went. When ordering dessert I had asked the server do you do anything for birthdays his reply was I can discount her dessert some. It took a while and he brought it out with a candle when my other daughter who were sitting next to each other had gone to the restroom. Disappointed. Anyways the big shocker was on the receipt. It says free steak on birthday. I asked him what you have to do and why he didn’t mention anything or ask if we are celebrating anything. He mumbled and walked away and came back with the check and said that the whole desert was discounted. Still no real answer. Very Disappointing experience.

Flew all the way from Thailand to try this legendary steakhouse. Being a solo diner I couldn't enjoy it as much. The steak already comes with free salad, with an option to upgrade to Cesar Salad, and your choice of potato. No room to try other starters, like escargot or crab cake.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience at Okeechobee steakhouse. The food was excellent. We shared the porterhouse. I upgraded to the Gorgonzola salad. The peanut butter pie was amazing. Our waitress Christine provided excellent service which was amazing. Great service in our local restaurant industry is challenging to find so we were very appreciative of Christine for her attentiveness and recommendations. Good service. Nice People. Overpriced steaks that just aren't that good anymore. Supposed to be Prime but doubtful. I'd have to see invoices from suppliers to believe it. At about $5 per ounce, WOW!

Amazing atmosphere, exceptional service, and the food is out of this world good. We travel alot and purposefully search out New dinning experiences. Pappas Bros easily leaves other well known highly rated Steakhouses in the dust. Our party ordered several different salads, steaks, sides and desserts so that we could try as many items as possible. Every item exceeded our expectations. Worth ever penny.

Visited for the first time, and everything was great. They show you the different cuts of meat and explain the differences between all of them. They also bring out all of the desserts to help you choose which one you want. The food was delicious, made exactly as requested, and the service was phenomenal. It's pricey, but I will definitely be coming here again.

Came here last night with some friends for my husband's birthday and we had a great time. The food was phenomenal and each type / cut was explained and shown to us so we could better order. Our waitress, Wendy, deserves the highest praise for her charismatic yet professional demeanor. She had us laughing the whole time and was very timely with our drinks and food. I hope the manager sees this review and gives Wendy her due accolades because she really made our night that much better! We'll definitely be back again for the food, atmosphere, and service.

Stopped in for a lunch. Best burger in town is what the menu said. I added cheese and gave it a try. I wasnt impressed. A slice of red onion. Not even washed a way the bitternes. The burger needed salt and pepper. Fancy sauce was great the fries need like at least 45 seconds to a minute more. Place were packed maybe I was there on a off day. But I want be waiting outside the door anytime soon.

We enjoyed our first dinner at Okeechobee Steak House. It's nice that they bring all the steaks to your table and explain each one. Nice experience. I had the sea bass, which was exceptional, and my husband enjoyed his perfectly cooked steak. The carrot cake was delicious too!

If Google allowed more than 5 stars than Okeechobee Steak House would certainly deserve it. It being the oldest steakhouse in Florida we had to give it a try. And I have to say it was well worth it. We tried escargot and filled mushroom caps as an appetizer. Just excellent! As a main entree we had the Filet Mignon with a shrimp on top and Sauce Bernaise medium rare. And it truly was medium rare. The meat was so tender, it melted while being consumed! The Filet was accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and a house salad with Greek vinaigrette. Just superb 👌 As a dessert we shared the key lime pie which was big enough for two. We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal food. Undercooked my prime rib, but the flavor was so amazing, medium rare/rare was actually edible for me. They did fix it. Service was great. You must get the escargot! Salad was decent. Tomatoes were not ripe. Very high-end establishment. I will be back!!

The service was great, David was awesome! Went on a Monday night and sat at the bar which had plenty of room. Ordered escargot which were pretty good but missing a bit of a kick. Then we ordered the porterhouse 24oz with oscar sauce, which was plenty for 2 people and it came with 2 sides, ordered lobster Mac and cheese and mushrooms. The lobster Mac wasn't my thing, I don't know if it was the lobster being too fishy or what it was but it wasn't doing it for me, but the mushrooms were really good! The ceasar was good and a great portion.

I love this restaurant. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. The setting is elegant and warm. My steaks are always cooked to perfection and the wine selection is impressive. Make sure you leave room for dessert, we didn't leave room last night and I'm still sad about it. If you could see the beautiful desert tray and all the great choices you would understand why!

It was a great experience everyone needs to have at least once. Server was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful with providing information on menu items. Ambiance was that of the old streak house. Expensive meal but everything is expensive these days. My steak was $125 but it did come with a salad and baked potato.

Our first time together at this local landmark, which has an Old Florida vibe from years past. The service was excellent. We ordered a variety of desserts, all seemed well thought out, and were eager to experience something different out of our normal comfort zones. It seems to have a well established customer base after so many years, so was curious to discover what makes this place so popular that is it's staying power after decades in the community.

I have gone here several times for business dinners. I took my 17 year old son last night for my birthday. My review is not based on the food or the staff (which is always wonderful). My review is based on the fact that in this fine dining establishment, right next to me and my son, was a table of about 8 grown men who were allowed to use extreme profanity the entire time we were there. As this establishment is a small space, their loud voices and language was all I heard in during my dinner with my son. The language was not a minor curse word, it was slobbering slurring of M-F bombs. In the end, they laughed and chatted about strippers. I can't believe I spent my 49th birthday in such company. They were less than 6 feet away because of the small space in the dining area. It overtook the enjoyment of what I paid for besides great food. It was not a fine dining experience. I struggled with getting up and leaving, more than once and I probably should have. Because that was allowed (let's face it.. 8 men, drinking fine wines, martinis and all eating steak, the tab was a lot bigger than mine)... I won't be going back there. My expectations for fine dining were not met, they were let down. Otherwise the food and wait staff and hostesses are amazing as always.

First of all the steak delicious! Cory was a fabulous server! That is NOT how the story starts. We arrived several minutes prior to the dinner shift. The waitress never introduced herself, never said she was leaving and never introduced us to our new server. They seated us and I asked if the Steakhouse had a specialty cocktail I was told only in the bar. Bread was served to us without bread plates! Oh and the cleaning of dining room while we were seated, dusting the ceiling and sweeping the floor. Lastly, sometime after the first server went my husband dropped his napkin and asked another server for a napkin, she didn't respond walked away and did come back with a napkin. I expect much BETTER service from a 5 star steakhouse! It really took away from our special occasion.

To be honest you can get a steak just as good for much less at Texas Road House , Outback or Longhorne. I wasn't impressed . We did have very good service, however we slso have good service at the above mentioned places.

If you’re trying to actually eat some good steak this is not the place. I ordered DELMONICO steak and it was like a bubble gum. I couldn’t believe that it was that bad. Got my wife a NEW YORK STRIP STEAK And it was even worse. The meat tasted old and rough. Lobster mac and cheese was amazing. Service was poor. It wasn’t a busy night and we were done with our dishes. The server came to ask us if we’re thru, we said yes and only 5 minutes later he came for the plates.

Service and ambience was really good. Our server Corey was very knowledgeable of the menu. When our steak arrived, it was clearly not rested. As soon as you cut into it, liquid runs from the steak (this happens when you don't rest the steak after cooking it) as a result, there's not a lot of flavor in the steak and the steak is kind of tough. But the mashed potatoes and Blue Cheese Gratin are delicious! My lobster is also delicious, a little overcooked but yuumm! So is our appetizer crab stuffed mushroom, it was very good!! Yum!!

Had my first Dinner at this restaurant. Have passed by many times over the years. Never had interest in dining for some reason. What a surprise I had with the experience. The server was excellent. You never had to ask for anything. She would be there. New York strip was prepared perfectly. Baked potato prepared perfectly. Ordered side if asparagus which were too thin; prefer the really thick type. These were really thin. Had one cheesecake for dessert. This was a really superior dinner and top service.

Our old “go to” fine dining steakhouse closed and we’ve been looking for a replacement. Okeechobee Steakhouse didn’t disappoint. The food and service were phenomenal and the ambiance was good. We’ll be back for sure.

My wife and I ate here last night. Everything was amazing, including the drinks, service, and food. The filet with the au poivre sauce was excellent, and the creamed corn side was also delicious. It is a little expensive, but it's in line with what you would pay at other high end steak houses. We will definitely be coming back.

This wonderful, top flight restaurant has been around for decades. To say it has it all together including the most delicious, well prepared meals would be an understatement. It is the best! The service is also top flight and impeccable! The quality of the dishes is the highest (prime everything). Even the salads are great. But, if you want a steak, or a Prime Rib Au Jus sandwich, you have to go here. You WILL enjoy eating here for dinner or lunch! Try it and you will join he loyal crowd that comes here regularly.
