We enjoyed this place very much. We spent about 3 hrs and we were amused about how much things have changed since those old days. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

A huge park with a yesteryear village theme. Plenty of eateries and a good atmosphere.

Located about 15 minutes west of Palm Beach airport, the Yesteryear Village is a quaint walk down memory lane. There are about 10 buildings dedicated to different functions of a turn of the century (19th to 20th) including a fishing shack, a general store and a few homes including the Riddle haunted house. It’s cute but there is not a lot to do and would be a quick stop (about an hour or less). However, the South Florida Fair also takes place there during select times of the year and that is a big deal with tons to do for kids…all types of rides, lots of shops and kiosks, and a multitude of food trucks focusing on fair favorites like ribbon fries, corn dogs, donut burgers, and the like. There are three sets of fees…parking (between $10 to $20), access to the grounds which includes the Village ($15 per person) and then ride pass (I didn’t not do any rides or even check out the prices…sorry). While we visited mid-day on a weekday, it looks like the fairgrounds will be slammed after work and especially in the evenings. Enjoy!

a really good organization. It is traditionally done and you should definitely come. It allows you to spend a wonderful day for the children and you. Thank you to everyone who is organizing. but I have a small note; You should reach this organization to a wider audience.

Amazing first visit! Definitely recommend. Jim at The Riddle House was awesome. He provided a walkthrough of the house. His explanation and knowledge really brought you back in time. The ladies that showed us the butter making OMG it was delicious.. Made me want to come home and make my own. Overall wonderful experience and will be coming back again.

It was a nice afternoon. All the buildings were accessible except the ones under renovation. Staff was helpful and informative. It is a good way to teach history to the next generation.

My Husband and I went there on Saturday. When the dark haired female manager was walking towards us to unlock the gate she was quite snippy with her tone. She stated " I'm hungry, cranky, and tired today" she also stated you could have gone around the gate to where the volunteers enter. It was our first time there we did not realize the other entrance. Then she started yammering on about having to unlock the restrooms. My husband mentioned that the business hours state 10 am opening. It was almost 10 afterbefore she unlocked the gate. She started blaming the volunteers. They are not to blame, hence the word "volunteer". She was quite annoying. I would not volunteer my time to a shrew like her. The grou ds and the buildings were very nice. Especially the lady in the telephone museum. She was awesome!!!!!!! Very nice lady!!!!! She could teach that manager some manners!!! Probably will not return!!!!

Very informative place. Everyone should go there and see a piece of history and learn how this area was created. Very kind staff are working there, they can tell you too much information about this place. I highly recommend it.

Yesteryear village, is a quaint little museum area of the South Florida fairgrounds. I can spend more time there, than the rest of the fair. It's nice and shady, the buildings are all old and traditional, they have museums in each one so you can go in and talk to the curators and they will explain everything. There's beautiful shade trees. They always have food trucks right there, it's got to be the most laid-back part of the whole fair, and great on a hot day because of all the shade. Sometimes they even have smaller concerts over there, I've seen several bluegrass shows that are only at the yesteryear village. Oftentimes they will even have historical displays, for instance, making sugar cane into sugar right before your eyes and letting the kids turn the crank and taste the sugar, etc

What a wonderful experience not only to see a little peek into the olden days but to finally see and experience The Riddle House, which was featured on many networks. I can check this show off my bucket list. I'll also be back to check the many paranormal hot spots such as the school house, pineapple prices room, church, and of course The Riddle House. I can only suggest a few improvements...food and drink element needs to be offered, add items in gift shop featuring your biggest draw The Riddle House and advertisement for this place is severely lacking.

Very nice place to take the family and go back in time, learn about history and how things started here in Florida. There are several replicas of buildings from the early 1700’s, 1800’s and some original buildings that were transferred there, which includes an old school,, a general store, blacksmith shop and other houses. They have a museum too, a general store for shopping and a lot of information to learn about the early days in Florida. We visited for Halloween, and in each station (house) they had candy for the kids, and they had a booklet to stamp with each stop to collect a big prize at the end. It was very entertaining and we learned a lot! I was transported in time specially at the old school!

U.B.Kinsey/Palmview Elementary 4th and 5th grade artists spent a wonderful day here. Their field trip experience not only allowed them to draw and paint pictures of the buildings, but they were allowed to go inside many of them as well.

It is truly a special, unique, and wonderful place for the entire family. We absolutely love this hidden gem as it offers endless amounts of focus on historical aspects that would otherwise be lost to the younger generations. It has tons of shade trees, events, friendly staff & volunteers too.

This is a wonderful hidden gem in West Palm-close to Royal Palm Beach at the S FL fairgrounds. Took my elementary age kids there and it was a blast. Love that we were able to walk at our leisure and most places we walked through without a guide. Some of the buildings have a guide which is great to be able to ask them questions. Come expecting to be there at least 2 hours because there is so much to see! Every building is a museum in and of itself with authentic era pieces. There’s a general store where you can buy treats and gifts. We ended the day at the fire house and my son got to climb up on an old fire truck. Take your family-worth every penny!

Who doesn't love an old village? I enjoyed this place as a child and now I enjoy taking my son and nephews. Trick or Treating here is a blast too, you really get that old town feel, kind of like in the movies lol And they even have a Boaboa Tree on site. Super cool.

Place was cool. I feel like they could’ve at least been playing spooky music or something while you walk around the little town. Over all for 10 bux not bad. My son enjoyed it. Could’ve had better rides or Mayb a small kid haunted house but maybe next year. Anyway we’ll be going back next year

This is such a great little place and so much fun for families with kids. We always look forward to taking our little ones there. Highly recommend their events.

We went to a Halloween event. Which was put together fairly well. As for the area the event was held in, it could use some TLC. Things were very run down or broken. The small amusement rides looked like they were going to fall apart. We loved the staff that they had helping out with the event. They were all very helpful and friendly.

Very interesting place, gives you a glimpse of life before cellphones and the internet 🤔

The volunteers are amazing. They went above and beyond what would be expected of them. They were informative enough to keep the adults interested, yet interactive and fun enough to entertain our little ones. The managers, on the other hand, were awful. They talked down to everyone and seemed generally spiteful about everything. They treated the volunteers with no respect at all. The epitome of Karens. I really hope it is under new management soon, and the volunteers can be treated the way that they deserve.

Very cool place to visit during Halloween time. Takes you back in time. Everyone dressed up in costumes going from house to house. Very cool!

What an absolute gem! We are so fortunate to have the village in Palm Beach County. As a native Floridian whose family arrived here in 1910, I feel a connection everytime I visit.

We had a nice but short visit. The corn festival was the event we attended. We came an hour before closing that was the reason for it being free. We missed a lot due to late arrival.
