Great food, and friendly staff! It was our first visit, and we came in on one of their "fajita nights" (Tues/Thurs). Lots of people were ordering, and the restaurant was smelling amazing as all of the sizzling plates were hitting the tables. We decided pretty quickly that we have to come back soon for some too since we wanted to try out a few other things last night. Nice little hidden gem!

This place is great! It's our favorite Mexican restaurant vintage the valley. It's very popular and starts filling up at about 4:30 p.m. They don't take reservations, but if you call while you're on your way and ask them to hold a table, they will do that if they can. The 5 of us each ordered different things. I ordered a la carte 1 chile relleno and a homemade corn tamale. They do have happy hour prices, check photos for details. The guacamole is excellent, just be sure to ask for it with your chips before the meal, otherwise they often bring it with the meal. Their chile rellenos are perfect. Fresh, fluffy, light, non greasy, not watery, and the chile is really fresh and has just the right amount of cheese. Our server was terrific, really on the ball. Everyone enjoyed their meals. No desserts, too full. I included pix of the full menu as of April 2023. The original restaurant is in Indio, which we have not been to. The one we go to is on Cook in PD, almost at the 10 in an industrial park. They have outdoor seating. But it can be quite windy down there by the 10. Try them out.

Came here by just driving by and what a great choice that was! Service was top notch. We sat outside and waiter was kind enough to move the heater to our table since it was a bit chilly. They had good drink specials and also menu was reasonably priced with specials as well. Food was nice and hot when it arrived to our table and I can tell the food was fresh. It was super flavorful. Chips and salsa is extra IF you get a refill. If you have room for dessert, try it! Delicious. Bathrooms were super clean too. Also, party of 5+ gratituity is added to bill (it is on the menu) Will be back when we go back to the valley.

The food here is good. We ordered the Carnitas, Trio Fajitas, Chile Verde, Crispy Tacos, Sweet Corn TamAle, and Mexican Flan. Carnitas and Tamale stood out for us. Service was also good. Pleasant experience in all.

Went to date night with my wife to a local place that we have gone to a few times before. The food is always been amazing there and that is one of the reasons we enjoy it along with the staff which is fantastic. Our server tonight, which I cannot tell you her name, was amazing and gave us a wonderful experience. From having guacamole remade without onions to giving us a hot sauce they normally don’t carry except for the delivery. She went out of her way to make our experience amazing. I highly recommend if you have not gone to this place to try it at least once, and the chances are you go many more times

Ate dinner here on 5/2/22. Visiting here from GA. We sat at the bar. Our server was fantastic. She was friendly, responsive and had a positive attitude. I had the tacos Al carbon. Wow, they were fantastic. Steak was really well marinated. The tamales were really tasty and well prepared. I’d definitely return next time I’m in CA. Price was very reasonable for quality food we ate.

Excellent Authentic Mexican cuisine! Such a great first experience, service was perfect. We sat on their outdoor patio which had heaters!!! Super comfortable and fun atmosphere. Friday night and the place was VERY busy, we were offered chips and salsa with drinks very quickly. Our server was BEYOND friendly, we really enjoyed her personality and attention to us the entire meal. I ordered the Grilled Burrito with steak, OMG probably one of the best steak Burritos I ever had. The steak is super tender and taste like fajitas sizzling in the Burrito. The wife got the flautas with chicken and bean with rice. The flautas were crispy and had a really tasty marinaded chicken flavor. The rice and beans are authentic and a perfect match to any dish. I washed my meal down with a Mezcal Mule and a pineapple and jalapeño mezcal drink that was EPIC🔥. WE WILL BE BACK. 💯

So this is the Fresh Agave of the north but the margs aren’t as strong. It’s the alternative hangout for all the people at Sun City, Desert Falls, Avalon etc. The food was decent tho. Service was good. Decor and ambiance was dated and kinda stale but the music was just so cheesy. I liked the place but I just can’t go back. There are better alternatives and it’s kinda out in bfe. And the HH, although it has a myriad of options, is just too early. All the oldies have already packed the place in so you have no chance to get in.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants when visiting the Desert. We stay in Rancho Mirage, but worth the little trip. Fun place with great decor. It can be pretty busy, but service is prompt. Margaritas are good. Nice warm Chips & Salsa for starters. We shared the Chicken Chimichanga. Only thing we missed was some kind of sauce on it which is the usual from our other experiences. Friendly service from Maritza. Hope to be back next year.

First time here. Met here for dinner before an event at the Acrisure Arena nearby. Easy parking. Arrived at 5:30 and got the last open table..popular place. Food is so fresh. And very good...Chili Rellono had a puffy coating, but a nice change. My friends salad abundant. We agreed a good stop!

Fajitas were excellent and even made good leftovers with breakfast the next day. Great chips and service was good. Thanks! :) Glad we happened upon this place. Had a little trouble finding it initially, it seemed like Google may have directed us to slightly the wrong place in the shopping center but it's here and Delicious! 😋

Shocked how great this place is. Outside it looks like a strip mall fast food place. Inside you are transported to MEXICO. The ambiance is beautiful, the bar is nice, the patrons are fun. No loud music. Unfortunately, TVs everywhere but sound off. Buffalo wings are all the good side, not both and are great tasting and the happy hour margaritas are to die for. Caesar, the bartender, is the dude- friendly with a great flair for yummy!!

When you Polk your head inside, the food smells delicious, and that's what made come back to try them. It's a casual atmosphere inside, the food is tasty and consistent, service is good, happy hour from 3-5 daily with drink and appetizer offerings plus have a diverse Mexican menu. At 4:30 on Monday it was nearly packed--10 mins later all tables were full. They make their own chips and salsa daily and they rock.

Great local place tucked away in a strip mall at the corner of Gerald Ford and Cook on the southwest corner. Great menu with an awesome assortment of Tequilas. Don't forget the deep fried ice cream with a legit shell encompassing the vanilla ice cream.

Went to the Palm Desert location. Food is always good, consistent, fresh and delicious. The best refried beans I've had and great corn tamales (I get the green sauce).

The service here is beyond amazing!!! My boyfriend and I showed up to this restaurant maybe 10-15 mins before closing and the staff was very welcoming. We didn’t feel rushed at all, the food was great and drinks were also good. I cannot remember our servers name (and I wish I could) bc she was so nice and attentive. We also noticed that the servers that night sat down at the bar together and ate dinner, which made the restaurant feel like a place you could call home. We really enjoyed our time here and more importantly the food. Thank you for having us. Don’t pass this place up!

We've now eaten here twice, ordered different items, and the dinners were excellent. Margaritas were tasty. Service was superb. The normal prices are reasonable. Happy hour prices can't be beat. We'll definitely keep coming back.

We started with the Ceviche, very good texture flavors and portion size. We shared the shredded beef chimichanga, it was amazing! The fried was flaky and amazing. The refried bean were also to die for. We both got Margaritas (the are $3 on Mondays). They were both very good.
