The hotel is very nice but it loses 2 stars for one very big issue which should not be prevalent at any hotel. It is evident that in certain areas of the hotel the level of service you receive is based on the colour of your skin, such as by the pool and with the front porters. I noticed this issue has also been mentioned in another google review from 2 years ago. We provided this feedback to the hotel upon checkout and it was accordingly communicated to the Front Office Manager who was very apologetic and extremely kind in offering us some discount of our final bill. She reassured us this problem would be dealt with and if we wished to return to the hotel in the future she would ensure we receive a very personalised service. Another area of the hotel we felt requires major improvement is the quality of the continental breakfast, which currently falls well short for a luxury 5 star hotel. For example, the quality and selection of some foods like pastries and fruit was not the best, with some fruits not even being ripe. Also, having previously stayed at 5 star resorts around the world, we have always requested and received some sliced mango and avocado upon breakfast where available. We were disappointed to learn there was no mango available and if we wanted some avocado it would be at a cost. It is rather surprising as they seem to provide both mango and avocado at the Maui Beach Restaurant. Speaking of the Maui Beach Restaurant, we would like to give a special mention here as the food was absolutely fantastic and there was also much more equality in terms of service. Otherwise, the only other small complaint we have is we did not receive a welcome drink on arrival to the hotel. If the hotel sorts out these few things then I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars and would happily return to visit.

Beautiful family resort. The staff is absolutely incredible, shout out to Chethmi for being so helpful and kind. She took care of absolutely anything I asked of her. The ambiance is very zen and peaceful. This isn’t a party hotel by any means. The rooms are elegant and modern with all the updated outlets.

This place is amazing. We had a fantastic family holiday at this marvellous location. We wish we can stay longer but unfortunately we will have to head back soon. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurants are fantastic, with plenty of choice, we went for full board so we had a limited menu but there was delicious food. The porterhouse restaurant went out of their way during my daughters birthday, Harry was especially helpful. The spa facilities are outstanding with brilliant choices of massages and treatments. The gents hairdressers offer facials which we're really relaxing. We will definitely coming back here , we had such a great time.

Fabulous hotel, our club suite was just stunning, the bath tub is amazing! All the staff here are wonderful very attentive, nothing is too much trouble. All the restaurants are great with a really good selection of varied food beautifully prepared. Blanca made sure our stay was just lovely. The club lounge is great, staff are so kind, making sure you have everything you need. Completely spoilt! Definitely aren’t come again. Thank you

Me and my mother really enjoyed our stay there. They have everything one needs for a successful vacation, including activities, various dining opportunities (lots of restaurants and a buffet) and very nice room service. We especially enjoyed the service of a gentleman called Fernando who works at the reception. He treats all guests very nicely and respectfully and always had patience and a friendly smile while interacting with them. We’re definitely considering to visit here again! :)

Incredible staff. Friendly, outgoing, funny and helpful. A special thanks to our house keeper Rachna who looked after all our needs with a smile and kept our room spotless. The breakfast buffet and the steak house are top of the line. The other restaurants are good but a little heavy on the salt. Overall an unforgettable stay that was well worth the money spent. We had a romantic dinner by the beach and it was an astonishing experience. When we arrived, everything was ready and set up and was as per agreed. It looked stunning. Regardless of the heat/hot day, they also had an external air conditioning unit running specifically for us to cool the place down which was a plus one. We had our own butler, Adi, who provided us with the most professional service. For that I have to give him special thanks. We were taken care of very generously by him. We also appreciate the small touches of having red roses prepared by them for my wife, writing “happy honeymoon” surrounded with candles and even providing us with a complementary cake to congratulate us on our wedding. I could not be happier with what I received from these guys. I would highly recommend.

We had an incredible stay in July at this beautiful luxury hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was so spacious and of a high standard. The pools and surroundings are just beautiful and spotless. The beach front location is so pretty and amazing views. All staff - cleaners, chefs, waiters/waitresses, reception, towel cabanas, pool service - literally all of them are so helpful. Food was plentiful and choices great. We cannot wait to book again!

Great hotel. The hospitality is top quality. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The hotel is far from everything. If you are looking for a resort just to relax in and not leave then it is perfect for you. If you are looking to see attractions and go out then just know you will need to always take about a 30 minute taxi ride. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the breakfast. The breakfast was not to a 5 star standard. Other than that I recommend it for people who are looking to just chill in a resort all day.

A combination of relaxation and adventure over the busy Christmas period 2023. We arrived early hours of the morning and quickly shown to our room. Arrange transfers between the hotel and airport which was very convenient with the delay at retrieving baggage from the flight. We didn't realize our room was booked with half board so we decided to use it as a subsidy. The number of restaurants provided us with enough choice and making up for missed meals was easy. Staff were attentive, polite and efficient. Booked excursions with the incumbent operator (Desert Gate Tourism) Hany who was very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay.

Amazing peaceful place! Thanks to May in reception we got an upgrade to a beautiful suite and it really made the day. Also thanks Salman from concierge so professional and truly friendly genuine service. All staff was exceptional as well as cleanliness.

We were looking for a little bit of winter sun and relaxation, we certainly found everything we could have wanted. The site is spacious with plenty of options for dining, shopping and treatments. There are several pools plus a good-sized stretch of private beach so we never felt crowded or uncomfortable. From the moment we arrived - around 2:30am - we were welcomed and taken care of so we could take things easy and relax for the whole of our stay. We would happily return and hope to visit again in the not-too-distant future. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so enjoyable 🙏

Spent 5 nights in this hotel. Generally speaking, it is children friendly. However, services did not meet the expectations for a 5 star hotel. I was on a half board package and everything I consumed for the last 3 days were all provided by the hotel. I had a food poisoning on the last night before check out. Reported it to the hotel and was told I am the only report they received for the whole year. (As an example, I was served in a dirty saucer in one buffet breakfast. Tips: Avoid the buffet breakfast and dinner) Also for checkout charges, the receptionist had converted the charges in £ without asking me. And the exchange rate used was 8.5% higher than my card issuer. Only found out after we flew back home, emailed the hotel to correct it and no response.

A good weeks holiday to a hotel we have visited on many occasions. Some changes since we were last here ( before Covid hit) most of the changes for the better…. So many lovely staff endeavouring to deliver a 5 star service.

Beautiful hotel. Service is second to none. In particular I would like to mention the lovely waiter Ernest who looked after us around the pool. Nothing was a problem, he was super friendly and the Sofitel are lucky to have him!

The Hotel itself is absolutely great. But we stayed here in December and unfortunately had to shorten our stay for personal reasons. We were approved an early departure and also the refund of the difference amount of the nights we didn’t stay because of the shortened stay. Since December 11 I have not received my refund but have only received emails that the refund had been „highlighted“ to the finance department. It’s been now nearly 6 weeks, which is unacceptable. But I got a very friendly call from the management who explained me that it’s obviously the bank’s working speed that delays it. Thank you very much for the information. Meanwhile the refund has arrived, I know that the travel and leisure industry is facing difficult times, and we definitely will return to the Sofitel the Palm. We should never neglect communication when things go wrong. Thank you ;-)

It was our honeymoon trip. I recommended it to people who are thinking about honeymoon. The room condition is very nice and always housekeeper keep it clean and is thoughtful. Workers give you the best service ever! Location is nice in the palm too. Nice beach and pool + water activities :)

Everything about this hotel is simply fantastic. It is always a fantastic experience for us as adults and for our kids. The staff really cannot do enough, in particular I found Akash to be very attentive, friendly and always there to help, he goes above and beyond expectation. We returned this year and he remembered us immediately, he even remembered our favourite seating area and our drinks.

Amazing hotel. Perfect location on the Palm. We had a Prestige suite which allowed access to the Premier Lounge. Would definitely recommend this option. We were looked after superbly by all the team there particularly Akash who has the most perfect temperament and manners and is an amazing ability to make you feel welcome and at home. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

You have the option to have a wonderful front view of the sea or from the backside with a another stunning view of the pools and the sea. Services are great gym, swimming pools, access to the beach, , my room got upgraded to a suite ,as a birthday gift I can’t wait until I come back again and again! Thank you

The Sofitel Dubai The Palm is amazing! The pool is big and super nice, making it perfect for swimming and relaxing. We loved the many places to eat, with lots of yummy choices. The beach is right there, so we could easily go for walks and enjoy the water. Plus, their gym is huge and had everything we needed for a good workout. The whole stay was fantastic, and we can't wait to come back. If you want a fun and comfy place to stay in Dubai, this is it!

Currently 6 days into a 10 day stay. Facilities are perfect, gym is well equipped. They don’t tell you there are steam rooms and saunas in the changing rooms of the gym so you don’t have to pay for spa use, unless you want a complete private experience. Had a wonderful stay so far, staff are incredible, service is top! I didn’t think it could get much better, until breakfast, Ordering my coffee Usman brought me a fresh juice (it’s the little things) and went well out of his way to provide the best service I have received during my stay here, you can tell he loves what he does. All the staff help to provide this 5 star service, from the front desk to the house keeping I can’t thank you enough. Not to mention the gent down on the pier Renne, what a gem, great sales man and a lovely bloke. Would recommend booking trips through Kais, he’s situated in the lobby of the hotel, great tour guy, we tired to haggle (everyone loves a bargain) prices were almost set with your operators, so he again went out of his way to provide a too service and deals with plenty of local info. Thank you for putting a smile on my face.

We had a lovely evening this evening at Laguna. We had the set sunset menu, the food was presented brilliant and tasted amazing, compliments to the chef. Michael and Isaac made it extra special, they were very attentive, our drinks were never empty. They made sure we were happy with the timing of our courses and even kept out little one entertained. We could not have asked for better thank you both. The setting is beautiful and relaxing with an area for adults (over 21s) and dining area very welcoming for families, an Indonesian feel with stunning sea views of the Atlantis, very relaxing see you again soon

The hotel is great and the beach area is beautiful. The pool area is good although small in comparison with other hotels in this price bracket. The food was good although not exceptional. The buffet restaurant often seemed short staffed at breakfast time with basic things like cutlery, coffee orders and table clearing being slow. Often the leftover food on tables attracted birds to fly around and savage. Overall, a good hotel but we will choose other resorts in the future

This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Luxury doesn’t even begin to describe this place. The food is outstanding, and you can savor something different every day. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and exceptionally helpful. The beach and pools are delightful as well. However, the rooms could use some updating. They tend to be a bit noisy, the bed isn’t very comfortable, and they might benefit from a small renovation, including new TVs ( smallest and oldest i’ve seen in a while) and fresh carpets and sofas. Nevertheless, everything else was flawless. I would return here without hesitation to enjoy this exquisite place. It’s unquestionably worth every penny!!!

Brilliant service from all the hospitality staff especially those involved in the Premium lounge. Great attention to detail from Nina, so lovely and attentive. Our 5 year old son has an allergy to dairy and be was accommodated every meal time with separate pastries and pastas. The chef, Ashwani was BRILLIANT, so helpful and personable, we were very well looked after. I would personally also like to thank Kiran, who was FANTASTIC! his customer service was impeccable 👌🏻 and made us feel like family! Just a lovely experience from the entire team.

Enjoyed our stay in the hotel so much! We booked a room that gave us also access to the premier lounge where we could get breakfast in a very relaxed environment. And also afternoon tea and happy hour. It was really really good. Lots of good places to go for diner. Staff s super super friendly. For example Koran and ei ei are amazing that did everything for us and our little baby to enjoy. Even made him fresh fruit in the morning! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks a lot and I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Our holiday vacation was terrible in this hotel which is much below a 5 star experience and not worth the price. We were booked into a 1 bedroom apartment that had seen better days. Tattered furniture, old mattresses, very depressing. The whole experience negatively affected our holiday and would definitely not recommend this hotel. There are much better hotels in the area.

We booked a half board club room and luckily got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite where we had amazing views over the Palm. There was a great selection of food on the ‘restricted’ half board menus and with the club room, it gave us access to afternoon tea and happy hour with unlimited drinks 5-7pm. It was certainly worth it! Had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Great place to spend your vacation, the staff is friendly, the food is great and the service is a top notch. Many room types to choose from, from a small 1 bedroom to a whole 2 floors villa. Multiple swimming pools with availability for adults only pool, and an easy access to the beach. The spa is highly recommended. The hotel is family friendly with a kids area/ playground.

My first visit to this wonderful property was a four night stay in mid December 2021 and I had the most wonderful time. The Sofitel name naturally sets expectations very high and this hotel certainly delivers. The rooms and the hotel in general are beautifully and tastefully designed and appointed. The rooms are also very large and very comfortable. I stayed in a one bedroom Beach Suite, and it was fantastic. With a very spacious well furnished bedroom and living room and a large bathroom with a freestanding tub and separate shower, the suite also had a walk-in closet and huge balcony overlooking the gardens, the sea (Palm Jumeirah lagoon) and the pool. The suite included access to the Premier Lounge which is great. They serve delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés with cocktails. The excellent service began at the front desk when I checked in. Mr Sufiyan made me feel very welcome, he was determined to find the best possible suite for me (which I believe he did) and, as I arrived early, he invited me to have breakfast at the lounge even before my room was ready. Also in the lounge the staff are wonderful. During the stay the whole team was so friendly and attentive to my needs. And it was all done very professionally without ever being intrusive. When Nazmul saw me in the lounge he made sure I got exactly the coffee, drinks etc. that I had told him I liked. That is great personal service. But also in general service at this property is very good. Every member of staff that I talked to, whether in restaurants, by the pool, or with housekeeping, like Rama who made sure my laundry and all important shirt was returned to me quickly after it had been delayed, they were all so determined to make my vacation the most enjoyable ever. At this hotel it’s all about anticipating needs, making sure any issue is completely resolved. A great advantage of the palm location is direct access to the beach with the calm warm waters of the lagoon inside the palm crescent. Plenty of comfortable beach chairs are available. And so are several wonderful pools. Dining throughout the hotel is excellent. From steaks at Porterhouse to seafood at Moana, it was all very enjoyable. The food is delicious, the service professional and attentive and the terrace seating provides a great atmosphere. During my stay I had every single meal from breakfast to dinner outdoors. What a pleasure, when you come from a country that has cold weather at this time of the year. Check out by Rio was accompanied by many good wishes for my safe travels home and a hope - of course shared by me - of my speedy return to this vacation paradise.

Amazing hotel on the palm. The service is wonderful, especially in the premier lounge. We had a prestige suite, plenty big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. The facilities were really good. 2 things I'd suggest are offering complimentary pick up and drop off with the suites and updating some of the technology in the room like the music system. It's still for an iPod, who has one of those anymore. A brilliant location on the palm, amazing views of the new Atlantis royal next door.

Great hotel. Lovely French, Polynesian style. We were a couple but it looked like it catered well for families. The service was beyond excellent. Our housekeeper particularly (Rachna) was wonderful. She kept our room spotlessly clean & well stocked and whenever we saw her she always asked if there was anything else we needed. Each a worked really hard and is a credit to the hotel team. Thank you for the bedtime chocolate too 💜

A family of 12 people in x4 separate rooms with an apartment for another 3 adults. We all had an amazing time in the hotel . Our room service was an excellent job done by Gobinda , who also was great help for my disabled mum whose had her separate room . Very polite and attentive staff and the restaurant was also clean. The food was fresh but I wish there were more options. Also there were not much summer fruit options except for apple ,banana and oranges. Some mixed summer fruits bowl were simply cut apples more than anything else. Dessert section was nice but surprisingly no ice cream parlour . Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would like to return again. I have met some other travellers also from UK whose been here in the past and return. My only little concern is that my sister in law just lost her precious watch in the apartment room she shared with her daughter and her mum which it’s been reported and the management is dealing with the matter at the present. We will leave tomorrow but in happy that we’ve had a great time in Sofitel The Palm hotel. I definitely recommend it and I thank the staff and the management for their excellent service.

Loved the room and my view. Breakfast buffet was great. Service excellent. Lemongrass fragrance throughout hotel amazing. Pool very nice. Ask about photo shoot, they did a great job. I would stay here again.

Staying at Sofitel has been an amazing experience made even better by the fantastic housekeeping. Jessica and LiL have been amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay a pleasure - and there are 3 kids in the room! They are always so conscience, kind and, helpful. Definitely recommend coming!

Fantastic hotel! First holiday as a family and the hotel was perfect. Catered for small children perfectly. Location was superb. Every single member of staff were so welcoming and friendly, so so professional. Jacob the concierge couldn’t do enough for us, always at hand to help us going above and beyond to sort anything we needed. Would happily return!

We have just come back after 11 nights at this lovely hotel, we had access to the lounge and whilst all the staff at the hotel were great and very helpful the staff in the lounge were exceptionally good, nothing was too much trouble, always friendly and always gave brilliant. Service. The food and facilities were extremely good. The Spa area has the most relaxing adults only pool and is a lovely area.

Sunday was absolutely fantastic! He was so friendly and the drinks were incredible! Thank you so much to all of the team!! Kenneth at the front of the hotel was so lovely and assisted us with our luggage. Thank you so much Kenneth!! Hope to see you again soon!

Amazing 9 nights in a Junior Suite, half board, The breakfast was superb. The lunch and dinner dine around menus were excellent. Well worth taking half board dine around option. The staff are so friendly and helpful, particularly the door men and Kawsar from house keeping kept our suite spotless. An all round beautiful and luxurious experience.

This is one of the best experiences one can have in a business trip, from the valet parking to the house keeping and all in between. I would also like to give thanks to Mr. Sandeep, the Valet supervisor for his Attention to details, have so many people to take care of, he always found a way to attend me and having my transportation ready. Went with my husband and son and we took the one bedroom apartment. Room was very spacious and everything we needed was provided. It might need some maintenance/renovation because for example the phone wasn’t working properly, the mirror with light(much needed for makeup) was not working either but nothing major. - The staff were amazing, friendly, and very helpful! Jasper(from the breakfast restaurant), Rodolfo(bartender), and Julias whom we met at check in were amazing honestly! Actually all the staff were great and very smiley! - They have a few pools around the hotel, beach access and a kids club. Very kid friendly hotel.

Great resort hotel if you are seeking to have a relaxing time with amazing service. Despite being a large hotel, the property never felt busy with plenty of sun lounges available at the swimming pools and beach. All staff were friendly and helpful. A good range of restaurants with sufficient choice for vegetarians each night. Buffet breakfast was excellent! Would stay again.

We are having a lovely time here at the sofitel the palm. The food is lovely using the dine around menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included full board. You have to pay for drinks. Iris and Gusti were very helpful at The World Eatery, the service was faultless. The 2 bed apartment is very spacious.

Stayed here for a week and don’t have a negative word to say about this hotel nor the staff! The staff are very attentive and always on hand to help. The rooms and view are amazing and so are the pools. Very child friendly too.

We enjoy staying at the Sofitel Palm we come every year and the service never disappoints. Lovely staff, ambience and great for our children. Nothing is ever too much trouble here. The staff are attentive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Great spa, the staff are so friendly and professional. The only down side is that its a bit old, also some facilities in the spa (the jacuzzi and sauna) smelled bad. We also got access to all the pools and restaurants even though we’re not hotel residents.

The staff made this hotel a wonderful experience. Their care and attention to detail was impeccable. Special thanks to Shyam for taking such good care of my husband and I and always with a smile. We ate at three amazing restaurants and even visited the seafood restaurant twice. As it was slightly out of season the beach and pool area were quiet but just perfect for an early morning swim. Our room was lovely but is just getting to that point of needing some work. The shower area was wonderful. What a wonderful five days.

Brilliant hotel with top quality service and facilities. Our housekeeping staff was a gentleman called Alvin who was exceptional and went over and beyond the call of duty every time. Would certainly stay here again. We did the half board which worked out very economical because there was complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour (2hrs) everyday because we were in a suite. And it may we had a private lounge area for breakfast. Very well done

Really lovely place to stay, as two adults it was noted that all restaurants had lots of very young children in them, even after 9pm all making a lot on noise, that was a shame. The food and resort are amazing and the service is good. Food and drink are extremely expensive however the offer is good and food is very high quality.

We could not fault this hotel- it was a perfect family holiday. The facilities are brilliant, all areas of the hotel are very clean and well kept. We were on the ‘dine around’ meal plan and all the food was excellent.
