The Palm Jumeirah is a manmade archipelago in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, created using land reclamation which extends into the Persian Gulf. It is part of a larger series of developments called the Palm Islands, including Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, which, when completed, will together increase Dubai's shoreline by a total of 520 kilometres (320 mi).[1] It has an estimated population of 10,500 as of 2016.[citation needed] It is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The construction was done as a joint venture by two Dutch specialist companies, Van Oord and Boskalis. The same companies also created The World. The recently opened destinations The Pointe, Club Vista Mare and Nakheel Mall are the latest additions to Palm Jumeirah. Location :-Persian Gulf Coordinates :-25°07′05″N 55°08′00″E One of the world’s most daring developments, the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai is a haven for vacationers. Jutting out into the Arabian Gulf, this man-made archipelago was built in the shape of a palm tree, with a 3-mile-long trunk and a fan of fronds lined with luxury villas and five-star hotels. From water parks and wildlife encounters to beach clubs and boozy brunches, discover 10 cool things to do at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. One of the first things that strike you when visiting the Palm Jumeirah is its size. This giant archipelago is visible from space and the outer crescent is more than 10 miles long. There’s also a sizable distance between each hotel, so walking isn’t advisable. Taxis are cheap and plentiful, and a monorail runs from the base of the trunk to the Atlantis, making it the ideal base for exploring the must-visit sights of the Palm Jumeirah. Palm Jumeirah, artificial offshore islands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the site of private residences and hotels. From the air, the archipelago resembles a stylized palm tree within a circle. Palm Jumeirah was built in the early 21st century and was largely financed from Dubai’s substantial income from petroleum. The majestic man-made archipelago of Dubai, Palm Jumeirah is known all over the world as the synonym of beauty and elegance. The aerial view of this stunning island appears like a huge palm tree, which extends into the vast Persian Gulf. Considered to be the UAE’s first important tourism project, Palm Jumeirah is presently home to many of the major tourist destinations of Dubai including Atlantis, Lost Chambers Aquarium, and Aquaventure Waterpark. The prime parts of Palm Jumeirah are referred to as Crescent, Spine, Trunk, and Fronds. The entrance part of this place happens to be the huge trunk that forms a bridge between the island and the mainland. Another bridge forms a connection between the Spine and the Trunk. The Crescent part happens to be the breakwater, which is linked with the Spine through a tunnel. The long and beautiful Fronds form the most amazing part of this island destination and its actual beauty can be witnessed by taking an aerial tour over the island in an aeroplane or helicopter. In addition to tourist destinations, Palm Jumeirah is also packed with a plethora of upmarket apartments, luxurious villas, lavish resorts, ritzy retails, and royal hotels, which are mainly positioned on the Crescent and Trunk. The place is also dotted with a number of elegant beach clubs and bars, which form the backbone of the bustling nightlife of the entire city. At the present day, this world-class artificial island shelters a vast population of more than 10,000.

The AED1.2 billion destination, the new centrepiece of The Palm, provides on-the-doorstep convenience for the island’s 78,000 residents, a new destination for the wider Dubai community, and a stunning new attraction for the millions of tourists who visit the UAE each year.

THE MAN MADE WONDER 🤩🔥 Dubai is famous for its soaring skyline – and that’s not the only feat of engineering to capture the world’s imagination. Built from reclaimed land in a series of artificial archipelagos, Palm Jumeirah is shaped like a palm tree when viewed from above. The unique island is home to some of Dubai's top luxury resorts, including Atlantis, The Palm, FIVE Palm Jumeirah Hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, One&Only The Palm and many more. There are fantastic fine dining options, such as Nobu and 101 Dining Lounge, and more than 80 restaurants, lounges and other attractions at The Pointe, located along a scenic promenade at the tip of The Palm....

A group of manmade islands, shaped like a palm tree, in Persian Gulf of Dubai. It was made from the mountain rocs & sand dredged from sea bed. Outer crescent shaped island protects the inner palm shaped islands. A mono rail connects the islands to main land Dubai. An under the sea tunnel leads to the outer crescent shaped island. A beautiful place to visit & stroll. Clean roads, trees, beaches & rocks on the edge of sea. Lot of tourists taking pictures of the Hotel Atlantis though many of them did not enter. Very very expensive houses & hotels built for rich peoples. A must visit place while in Dubai.

Beautiful location with a beautiful sightseeing everything was excellent and staff was nice and friendly. You can access level 52 and 54 but no one advised us that level 54 has a 15 minute limit time per person and once we were about to take pictures when the sun was right the security told us we have to leave our time is up and we told him if we can take a few minutes more and he denied because its getting busy. Anyways that ruined our mood and experience in the end. Overall worth paying and doing this activity but lack of information on ticket or website and staff didn’t mention anything previously.

At the moment when I visited this place it was not in the best form. The palm is being eclipsed with a new attraction and it was hard to get a good look at it. They already have a water park that has taken the charm of Jumeirah away and now a new structure is looming the background. There is a beach nearby that you can visit but you might not enjoy the hot scorching waters on your skin. This place has changed a lot and I can't say it has for the best.

This is the world's largest man made island housing society. You must take the monorail from the palm gateway to get there. Metro passes don't work here and the tickets for monorail cost 30D for return trip. It's a housing scheme designed for those who have some money to spend. Mostly an exercise in extravagance for the super rich.

The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers and upmarket global restaurants. Food trucks offering snacks like shawarma dot the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, popular for its views of the Dubai coastline and the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel.

Palm Jumeirah is an incredible man-made island that has become one of Dubai's most iconic landmarks. I had the opportunity to visit this unique attraction and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The Palm is an engineering marvel, with its perfectly shaped palm tree structure visible from miles away. The island is lined with beautiful beaches, luxurious resorts, and stunning residential properties. The Atlantis, The Palm hotel is particularly impressive with its beautiful architecture and fantastic water park, making it a great place to visit with kids. One of the highlights of visiting the Palm Jumeirah is the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll along the promenade. The walkway offers beautiful views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline, with plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way to stop and take a break. There are also a number of water sports and activities available on the Palm, from jet skiing to parasailing, making it a great place to enjoy some fun in the sun. There are also several parks and playgrounds, making it an ideal destination for families. In addition to the tourist attractions, Palm Jumeirah is also home to a number of high-end restaurants and shops. Whether you're looking for a gourmet meal or a luxury shopping experience, there's something for everyone on the Palm. Overall, Palm Jumeirah is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Dubai. It offers a unique and unforgettable experience that showcases the city's incredible engineering feats and natural beauty. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind while taking in some of the best views Dubai has to offer, then Palm Jumeirah is definitely worth a visit.

3 star is just because this place have nothing much to offer if you don’t stay in one of the hotels in Palm Jumeirah. If you are staying at Atlantis or any other resort then this place is golden. Also this is far from downtown. Although this has great upscale restaurants but nothing for kids. The Broadwalk has no place to sit or even a water bottle is far away.

A very nice and expensive place to be but affordability accessible for visitors and guests. A long and interesting driveway towards Atlantis Hotel and water park. Best views of the high end villas and high rated hotel lines on both sides of the road which is built in such a way that a railway is in between the two roads at an elevation of more than 6m up. The road has been designed to capture the feelings of the world, in such a small area, the road has tunnels one of which goes under the ocean. All villas seen in the video opens to the ocean. This street looks like a shopping arcade, each building is good and looks like new.

Palm Jumeirah, Dubai - A True Marvel and Inspirational Destination 🌴🌟 I recently visited Palm Jumeirah, and I have to say, it's the epitome of human imagination, positivity, leadership, and vision. This iconic artificial island in Dubai is a luxurious and exclusive destination that never fails to impress. It's incredible to see how mankind can create such a stunning masterpiece, and Palm Jumeirah truly stands as a testament to our capabilities. The island is home to some of the most luxurious properties, attracting local and international celebrities, successful business people, and affluent families. As I explored the island, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the sheer beauty and grandeur of it all. Palm Jumeirah is a haven for those who appreciate the finer things in life and want to reside in a unique and prestigious location. The only question that lingers in my mind is, who exactly lives there? But I guess that adds to the mystique and allure of this remarkable place. If you're planning a visit to Dubai, I highly recommend adding Palm Jumeirah to your itinerary. It's an experience you won't forget!

The developer of Palm Jumeirah was Nakheel, a real estate company now owned by the government of Dubai. The master plan was drawn up by Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock, an American architectural firm. The islets were made mostly from sand dredged from the floor of the Persian Gulf, but the side of the crescent that is exposed to the open sea was shored up with stones and boulders from the mainland. Work started in 2001, and land and basic infrastructure were in place by 2004. Construction of the buildings began in 2006, and the first residents arrived in 2007.

Hardly anyone would not have heard about this unique man made island. It is located south of business district and a quick can ride from there. To get the view of Palm, you need to buy a ticket to go up the building (entrance located inside the nearby mall). The view is majestic. You can see the human ingenuity spread across the ocean floor. There is cafe at the rooftop where I sat for a cup of coffee. A must visit place when you are in Dubai!!!
