I will never go back to the free people in Palm Springs downtown! I have been a Free People client for almost four years now online as well as at fashion valley mall in San Diego , I recently moved to Palm Springs and cannot believe the atitude I received from one of the women working there. On occasion I buy online from the Free People website and need to do an exchange at the store of which I have done several times in San Diego. On this occasion the red headed woman at the counter refused to honor my exchange and plain lied saying she cannot exchange anything. If this is the policy it is only this location in Palm Springs as I’ve never had this issue before. The atitude I received by this cashier was demeaning and snobbish I have no interest in ever dealing with that place again and will let all of my friends and family know not to give them the time of day.

3 stars solely for their store's interior decor. Unlike other Free People locations whose staff were helpful these sales associates were inattentive for such a small location with no other customers in the store. More specifically this location's staff did not acknowledge our entrance nor asked if they could help us find anything while I browsed for a solid 15 minutes before I decided to leave and shop elsewhere.

This place smells like dozens of boiled eggs exploded. I don’t understand how this is now being resolved??? Someone should call the health department

First time at free people! It was nothing but the best:) Very unique pieces and amazing customer service. Taylor was the absolute best! I have never received such great customer service from a sales associate. She was extremely helpful and friendly.

Literally have never been treated so awful at a store before. I went in this store yesterday and dropped some good money on quality clothes. Or so I thought. I bought a dress with that had quality control issues- the stitching on right sleeve was incorrectly sewn together, making it awkward, difficult, and uncomfortable to wear and get your arm through. I naturally wanted to get an exchange for a dress I could wear. When I went in the store about 30 minutes ago and asked for an exchange. There was a girl at the register who had short black hair and light skinned who I spoke to and she: 1) didn’t believe me that their item had horrible quality 2) didn’t want to honor an exchange 3) was laughing at me as I was leaving their store I literally told her to try it on and see how messed up the dress was. The only reason I gave this a one star is because there was a girl with long red hair yesterday afternoon that was actually kind and helpful. Overall awful and I would avoid this place because of terrible attitude and customer service.

Popped in for a few birthday gifts... not a fashion guy so felt lost... AMAZING STAFF... Super patient and helpful to. The asked a bunch of good questions to give me the chess make the best choices ask for Natasha, She is a real help and a real standout I highly recommend the shop it's very cool not that I would know cool is...lol

Well laid out store, nice folks, easy casual selections. Great location in the heart of Palm Springs

Love this clothing line and the store is perfect. I bought a few pieces and they didn't have my size in a pair of pants I wanted so Emma ordered me a pair and showed me all colors available. All the ladies were very helpful.
